Every person that I talked to in Easy Movers was outgoing ,friendly and tried to help me organize my move.First they got the date that I preferred .Then they gave me a preliminary estimate followed by an onsite estimate.By the way every step was on time. The the movers came,two really nice guys.They scoped the job and were finished 2.5 hours later.In reviewing the paperwork the senior mover suggested that I might save some money by eliminating the total coverage insurance.I couldn't dispute his logic and in the process saved $100.Thank you Easy Movers!

The only problem that I had was that they didn't put the sheets down on all the carpets. It was a brand new house that we moved into and it wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. I'm not sure if I would use them again.

The quote is for $2000. I am glad I checked them out or else these moving companies can really rip you off. They were quick for getting me the quote. I would consider them to give me a quote in the future.

Drivers arrived almost 2 hours late. Shortly after arriving two crew memebers had a loud argument on the front lawn of my house in Huntersville. One of the crew members called my "mami" through out the day eventhrough I told the crew leader he needed to stop. They were unable to pack all of our furniture in the one truck they brought which required them to make two trips between Huntersville and S Charlotte. They damaged at least 80% of my furniture in the move. They also damaged walls and trim work in both houses. Some of the furniture was not re-assembled, such as my dining room china cabinet shelves - they were just left on the floor next to my china cabinet. When I pointed this out to the supervisor who came to my house a few days later to see the damaged furniture, they just left them there and did not offer to put the shelves in the cabinet The move started at approx 10 am and the crew did not finish until after mid-night. Having moved several times across the U.S. this was the WORST experience I have ever had with a moving company. Easy Movers did repair the damage done to the furniture and both homes. The last piece of furniture (a glass table top) was finally returned at the end of Sept 2011 - 5 months after the move was complete. I would never recommend this company and don't understand the high rating they have here. BEWARE!

They were excellent from start to finish with both times. They were professional, polite and were good in communication.

They were reasonable, infact the cheapest amongst the other estimates. They were professional and careful with my furniture. They did good work and I will continue to use them in future.

A gentleman from Easy Movers arrived a few weeks before our move at the scheduled time and did a thorough estimate with us that was very accurate. The company kept in contact with us up to and throughout the move. The packers and movers arrived when promised and were very professional as well as just darned nice people. They packed an moved a 3800 sq ft home in the three days as promised and made certain we were plesed with the experience. Moving is never a fun experience when it is happening but the guys from Easy Movers made it far less painful. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Easy Movers was reluctant to provide a quote over the phone, which I can appreciate. Glenn came to our townhouse to provide a quote free of charge, which he gave to us and discussed at the end of the visit. There were two quotes, one was a flat fee, and the other a per hour charge. In addition, they were willing to box up some of our more large and delicate items to move (although for an additional cost). Although we did receive another quote that was slightly cheaper, that company was not willing to move any of our delicate/valuable items -- a few of which were heavy and part of the reason we wanted movers in the first place. As I recall, three movers arrived promptly around 9 am or so, and after a quick run through of the house and signing the official docs, got to work. They did not complain about not having boxes for every item. To clarify, all items were packed, however a couple things (like sports balls, etc) were packed in open bins. I've heard some movers refuse to touch this, and they were accomodating. Problems: -They brought far too small a truck. We moved a few things before the moving day, and we still needed to make several car loads ourselves on moving day. Not easy considering I had a 6 month old at the time, and this was the whole purpose we hired a moving company. -Very slow. They did not arrive at the new house until roughly 3pm, and were out by 7pm. They were stretching the clock, which later became even more apparent when they tried to charge us by the hour instead of a flat fee. Irritating, since I had provided lunch on my own dollar. -Several items were broken. Although, Easy Movers did either provide compensation or fix for all items. I do feel that if they had the correct size truck, this would have been avoided. Overall, a good experience, though not without annoyances. In retrospect, I would make sure they have a large enough truck ahead of time, and triple check the manner of billing ahead of time.

They worked with us well to get within our budget. They even brought us free used boxes that eithe we could pack for free or they packed and only charged by the hour. They were very helpful with telling us what stuff we could pack on our own that would save the most money (ie - clothes b/c they are light, but take up a lot of space, artwork and lamps b/c they are so awkard for them to protect, etc.). The movers were very hard working and nice. The only minor complaint is that they didn't show up until mid-morning which made for a late day. I would have thought they would have started earlier to avoid the heat. Overall, GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!

These guys were great! Very attentive to detail, padded/secured everything well. Wish I had used them the first time I moved! I would strongly recommend them.

They arrived half an hour late. The move out went very well. The movers were courteous and professional. They damaged a wall in my new home. The movers alerted me to the damage, which I appreciated. He filled the hole and told me I would need to sand and paint. I posted a review online and was contacted by the company telling me that they would handle the repair and painting of the damaged wall. Then they never called me back. I would not use this company again as they failed to stand by their promise.

Joe, Darian, and David did a fabulous job! The gentlemen were pleasant, efficient, and very professional. The time esitmate and costs were right on target. I will use them again.

We had an outstanding experience with Easy Movers. They were on time, helpful, professional and super hard working. Special thanks to Charles and Robin who unloaded on Friday night before Hurricane Irene arrived! We will definitely recoomend Easy Movers and use them again!

On time- Good job overall- i would hire again

They we professional, on time and easy to work with. The actual charge was less than the quote. The men took care to wrap our furniture as it went into the POD, then placed all the furniture back exactly as we wanted it.

The moving itself went well except that they tore the wood frame in my door and din't tell me about it. I discovered it ater they left. Easy Movers sent a guy over a few weeks ago to repair it but he has yet to finish the job and left my screen door unhinged at the top and left screws and parts on my living room floor. I'm still waiting for tis repair to be completed and my move was over a month ago. Update: Since this report my door has been fixed. It seems this was a contracted employee issue so this has been resolved after calls to Easy Movers.

Excellent. The workers were polite and professional, they treated each one of our pieces with care and went above and beyond!!

OK I hired this company based on so many wonderful reviews on Angie's list but overall I was far from satisfied about their performance.I had scheduled and confirmed the move at 9:00 am on Saturday Aug 20th but the movers did not show up to our place until 9:45 am. I called at 9 am and I was told that the time of arrival is typically a 1 hour window and not an exact time. I was never informed by the representative Jennifer that I was dealing with that there is a 1 hour window and I was always given an exact time of 9:00 am which I have in all of my email communications.With regards to the actual move the movers approach and performance was not up to the par. Here were some of the issues I had with the movers:1) They did not have enough runners to cover all the wooden flooring and freshly cleaned carpet stairs in our new home where they were moving our stuff. This resulted in dolly marks when they were moving the washer and dryer through the carpeted stairs.2) None of the 3 movers had any booties on their shoes inside our new home and so the carpet had dirt from their shoes after the move was completed. This is completely unprofessional and I hope they do keep booties in their van in future.3) One of the movers did not have any clue about the space and banged couple of furniture items on the wall.4) The other mover was wearing just a sleeveless t-shirt and and sweating profusely the whole sweat was on our TV when he placed it in our new home. No apologies were given.Overall the move was not what I expected and the 45 minute delay in the move threw our afternoon schedule in the ringer. Based on this experience I would not recommend Easy Movers to anyone.

They were good. They came on time and did the moving. They did not sit around. Nothing was broken. They were in and out. They were competitive in pricing. I shopped around and their price was the same as everybody else.

These guys are just great. That's all there really is to say.

They were great. I used them about a year ago. My daughter wanted the piano on the second storey of her house. They took it up there; it didn't fit so they had to bring it back down. They were great.

I can sum it up by saying the workers were understaffed but worked very hard. DO NOT let them crate a valuable painting or picture. They took measurements of the painting, assembled a crate but had no idea how to pack it in. The set the painting in frame in the crate with no padding between the 1x2 boards that constituted the crate. It was just bouncing around with a 1/2 inch gap between sides. If I didn't re-pack and re-crate the painting it would have never made it. They really had no idea what they were doing. My only other complaint was that the estimate was about $600 off the mark. That was a big percentage of the total. I'm not sure how they got so far off on their estimate. Bottom line, the packing crew were hard workers but not the most skilled and the lady that gave us the estimate had little skill at all. This is an update after the truck arrived at the destination. The crew (a crew in an entire different league than Easy Movers) shook their heads as they unpacked the truck, noting a lot of unnecessary damage. This was due to leaving furniture and pieces of furniture unwrapped and poorly stacked. We had heavy furniture loaded on top of lamp shades, boxes with UP arrows plainly visible loaded on their sides, in all thousands of dollars of damage. We're getting legal advise at this point to talk about our options. We're calculating that the damage done will cost more than the entire move from coast to coast. We'll see what Easy Movers has to say about it all and update the site in the future.

Movers arrived on time, worked quickly in clearing out storage unit and removing requested items from home.. even with the quick move, no items or were damaged and all walls remained intact. They finished just under the time quoted and adjusted the price fairly.

They were great. I don't remember how much they charged for the services. My husband was in charge of that, but it was very reasonable. We repacked ourselves and they just moved our stuff. They just showed up, helped us put the stuff in the truck, and drove off. They were good workers. They worked the whole time. They were careful with our stuff. They wrapped everything. They helped in the loading and the unloading. They placed them where we wanted them to be placed. They were really careful. They were perfect with price and quality. I don't remember if they were on time or not. They responded pretty easily. We would consider using them again and we even recommended them to somebody else.

We were very pleased with the service they provided. Nothing that they packed was damaged. Our only damage was one broken wine glass that I had packed. They were very careful not to slide furniture across our new hardwood floors that are quite soft. They wrapped all of our furniture carefully and put down pads to protect the floor.It was a very successful move. We are very pleased and would definitely use them again. The guys were very cordial and did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend this company.
