I found this company through Angie's List and called them first because of the high ratings. I have been through 9 moves now so I'm a seasoned veteran as far as moves go. Most of them interstate but this one was local. I can honestly say that this is the best move we have ever had, from that first phone call with Carrie who was just so personable and professional to Glen who arrived at the house to give us our estimate in quick time to the first day we had the actual heavy lifters arrive. On the first day we had Shane, Tyree, Drake and James. They showed up on time and got to work right away. They all got along well with each other, made sure they treated our furniture and boxes as if it were their own, were very professional and respectful and were very pleasant. Second day we had the same crew except for Tyree. Same results for the second day. It is quite clear that the company emphasizes that the customer comes first. All the movers demonstrated exemplary manners and outstanding work ethic. In fact, even after a couple of hours of heavy lifting and loading, James and others were almost running to get the boxes loaded in as short of the as possible. That's unheard of! I had to smile. I mean, we are paying by the hour (because it's a local move) and these guys never, ever slowed down or took a break as far as I could tell. They ate their lunch in about 5 minutes and went right back to work both days. Now, while we have not had a chance to inspect every box or piece of furniture to determine if there is any damage or anything missing, I am so glad we used these guys and I can't say enough about the movers themselves. I will definitely use this company again. And no, I'm not being paid to write this review, nor am I related to any of these people at Easy Movers nor do I have any connection whatsoever with this company except for the move. .

The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 am. They arrived at 10 am. I told them that I need to be on my way to another city by 1: 00pm. After reviewing what needed to be moved, the movers assured me that the job will be done by that time. The job was actually completed at 2:30pm. Because everything was tightly packed into a storage unit, I could not assess whether anything was damaged during the moving process. The three items that were obviously broken were relatively minor: floor lamp (parts of metal lampshade structure twisted and snapped) and two large hanging clothing bags (metal parts for hanging were broken and clothing was heaped inside instead of hanging). General observations: Three movers arrived in a rental Enterprise truck. They appeared to have sufficient blankets, tape, and film for protecting furniture. They were polite and adequately groomed, but were in suboptimal physical shape which clearly slowed their progress and, given the hourly billing, likely increased cost of the move. Two of the three movers appeared to work hard. The moving process appeared poorly organized; specifically, the order in which the items were moved into the truck and then out of the truck into storage space appeared haphazard and inefficient. Overall, the experience raised concerns about competency, punctuality, and professional fitness.

It went well. They were pretty fast and efficient. Wrapped everything in blankets for protection. Loading and unloading was efficient. Crew worked well. Couldn't ask for more.

They arrived on time and worked quickly making sure all of our furniture was protected. They had trouble getting a couch through a door and tried everyway possible not wanting to give up. But the door was just too narrow. I give them a lot of credit for that. They were all friendly and polite.

bait and switch. they are knowingly advertising for a local move in areas that they do not service hoping to get that extra long distance move deal.

The appraiser came out and gave me a very professional estimate of the cost of the move. On the day of the move, the crew arrived on time, ready to work. When I went to meet them, I saw four tall strong men who I knew instantly were up to a long hard days work. These guys were total professional, put me at ease, and joked with us and themselves as they worked their behinds off. When the kept refusing to take a break, I ordered giant meat pizza's and soda and told them that since I was the boss and paying the bill, that they were to eat and rest for a few. it was the least I could do. They were grateful but hurried back to finish. The job took 10 1/2 hours and they performed flawlessly. I would highly recommend this fine company!

Easy'Mover's motto is "We treat your belongings like it is our own." They were true to their word.The moving team were flawless in how they moved artwork, furniture, boxes, etc. This company is terrific: from the first initial call to get an estimate, to scheduling the move, and punctual arrival and end time. The final cost was within dollars to quoted price. Great company and great staff. They really made my move easy!!

The movers showed up on time and were very professional and hard-working. They never took a break and did no damage to either the house or any of the belongings. They wrap all the furniture and bring all their own blankets, tiedowns, and bands. They loaded and unloaded so efficiently that I had to keep on my toes just to tell them where to put things. They did excellent work even with some heavy and awkward pieces, moving into an older house with narrow hallways upstairs. I highly recommend using this company (and tipping well afterwards too!).

Owner was responsive in providing a bid. He was easily reachable via phone. Movers were on time, courteous, professional, careful with the furniture.

The move went very well. The crew was polite, friendly, and patient with our requests and took good care of our property. None of our articles were damaged except for an old particle board desk that had survived more moves than was reasonable. Three other particle board desks and other particle board furniture was fine. The crew had no problem with disassembling and reassembling two beds, a dresser mirror, and even the stand on my 65" plasma TV. They carefully wrapped the TV in its original packaging and reassured me that they would take good care of it, which they did. We were moving from a carpeted house to a new house that was all hardwood floors, and as new homeowners, my wife and I were very nervous about the movers scratching the floor. They didn't put down runners, but they were very careful and even patiently held many pieces of furniture upside down while we attached felt pads to them. I haven't noticed any scratches in the few days since the move. All in all, I was very satisfied with the service and would use the company again in the future and recommend them to others.

The crew that packed the house arrived exactly on time. They packed and labeled the house. The movers brought multiple trucks and packed up as directed. They did a complete unload and placed the furniture where requested. Other than one broken dish we had an excellent move.

The team was great! We had a team of four scheduled for our move. The actual time it took, was much less than the time estimated, but you only pay for the actual time worked. They were all very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone had a role, and made sure to take care of it and kept moving the whole time. They made sure to point out any issues prior to the move to ensure it wasn't made from them. And there were no issues from the move. They brought the moving materials and then installed everything back to where we wanted it. (washer/dryer, cribs, beds, etc) I would highly recommend Easy Movers to anyone who needed one. I have had horrible experiences in the past, and this was definitely far from those.

When my mom's house sold more quickly than we expected, I needed to find a moving company that could accommodate a tight timeframe in order to avoid having to cancel a long-planned vacation. I found that most movers could only give me a 2 week window of time when her stuff could be delivered. Easy Movers not only met our needs for timing but did so with courtesy and professionalism. Their price was very reasonable; we didn't have to share a truck and it was only slightly more expensive than other quotes. We did have an initial misunderstanding but ultimately they honored their commitment to us. Our driver Mac and our movers Dwayne and Chris were fantastic! They put my mom at ease during a very stressful time. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to other families.

They sent a representative out to the condo to assess what was being moved and subsequently filed a quote. I had to change the date a couple of times and they were very accommodating. The office staff were always pleasant to deal with. The actual date of moving, four very nice, professional men showed up on time and after taking a look at what needed to be done, they immediately started working. All of the items that required it were wrapped and strapped to prevent damage. They took great care not to bump the walls and never complained about the hard work (especially the stairs). The unloading went extremely well and I was very pleased with the way that they were able to utilize the space i had to store my things. I had a very heavy awkward sign that needed to be moved up the stairs (it would not fit on the elevator) and they took care of that extremely well. I have used them before with good results and will continue to use them in the future. I contacted two other providers, and one of them never responded. Overall, quite satisfied with the way things went. I did request a quote for storage, but they were not competitive with the off site storage with regards to price. I could not use them since I was putting everything in to long term storage.

They were great. The quoted price was exact and the move went very smoothly.

Overall it went ok. I spoke with Dan to set up date and he was very flexible since our closing date kept changing. The two guys who performed the service were very nice. I think the heat and the two flights of stairs slowed them down a bit.

My experience with them was fine. The quality of the service was good and they did not break anything. The movers were professional and were in contact with me about the fact that they would be late. They showed up early with the modified time. I plan on using them in the future.

The movers stated off about 2 hours late. This forced us to have to rearrange our final cleaning lady and the final walk through. The packing and loading went fairly well except for items that went "missing" (our dyson vacuum) and items there were broken (our kitchen table. The guys moving we're hard working and polite. The movers ran out of room on their truck. Luckily, I had a small uhaul trailor, but we couldn't get everything on the uhaul. Some things ended up getting left. They never offered to bring another truck. They broke the pushmower handle trying to get it in the uhaul. Luckily I was able to fix that. They were short a man unloading. The guys unloading worked super hard, but couldn't hardly get it all done. They worked from 11am to almost 10 pm constantly. They were visibly upset they were shorted a person. I called to file a claim on the missing dyson and the lady did not call me back as agreed. Overall, this was the worst move I have ever been part of. I wouldn't use them again, nor would I recommend them to a friend. There are plenty of better moving companies out there.

The moving coordinator was very professional and courteous and always responded promptly to questions I had. The movers arrived on time, were very courteous and very efficient. Although we had packed up most of the stuff ourselves, the crew of four wrapped our furniture, packed several pictures and our flat-screen TV, and miscellaneous items in the garage, along with our grill and lawn furniture, all in about 4.5 hours. The load weighed about 8,700 lbs. They delivered it to our new home the next day and also unloaded it in about the same amount of time. The only damage we sustained was the base of our grill was badly damages. After I sent them a claim along with pictures, they reimbursed me for the cost of the grill promptly. I do believe that the problem with the grill was caused by them following the route their GPS gave them, which included a steep, washboarded gravel road, which is perhaps the shortest route to our new home, but definitely not the best. We had given them a different route as a suggestion, not knowing that their GPS was sending them the way it did. Unfortunately, they followed the GPS and I am sure that is how the grill got damaged. Nothing else was damaged however, a testament to both our packing and theirs of the other items we had. I would recommend them in to anyone.

After all the great reviews, we were looking forward to working with Easy Movers. After waiting a week for an appointment, the person coming to give us a quote showed up an hour late with no phone. No apology, no remote concern for the incredible inconvenience. We opted not to waste time getting a quote. Very unprofessional.

It was a GREAT success! The loading crew arrived on time for our pickup date. They got right to work. The entire crew was very friendly, polite and professional even in July heat. They wrapped everything very carefully and made sure I understood how the process would work. They worked quickly but carefully. I have a ton of stuff so it took a while to get the truck loaded but they worked hard until it was done. We had no issues or problems with the loading. They stored everything on the truck overnight with a scheduled delivery for the next day. Since it's a 2 hour drive from their location to my new location plus figuring in traffic between here and there. They were right on time for delivery. Just as they had done the day before they got started right away with unloading. They asked where I wanted everything. The whole crew worked steadily throughout the morning. We ordered pizza for everyone for lunch. They took a break to eat and a few water breaks but for the most part they worked throughout the day to get everything unloaded. I can't say enough about what great attitudes and personalities our crew had. We had the same crew for the pick up and drop off which was great as well. When the move was complete they explained all the charges to me and the estimate was very close to the actual price. Since it was a visual estimate of the weight of everything I owned I think they did an amazing job. This was a huge move at $3000 but it was worth every cent. I can't brag enough about Dan, Glenn or their crew! I would highly recommend them to family, friends and co-workers who are going through a move. Moving is very tiring and stressful and this team definitely helped lessen the burden. So far everything that they moved for us is in great shape. They didn't break anything. There was some minor damage to my over-sized refrigerator but since it wouldn't fit through any of the doors they did the best they could.

Easy Movers was great from start to finish. They gave me a quote over the phone and assured me of date. They also handled everything by credit card so there was no need to have cash or cashier's check. The movers showed up on time and were done in a timely manner. No wasted time or taking breaks. They arrived shortly after we did in Asheville and unloaded carefully and in a orderly manner. Set up beds for us and did anything we requested. I would recommend them to anyone moving in NC and I understand they also do interstate moves. We had a TERRIBLE experience moving from Atlanta to Boone so we were determined not to make that mistake twice. They were all we could have asked for and our actual bill was less than they quoted me!!
