The office contact worked with us to get us a timely move. She arranged an onsite estimate (at their cost). The movers showed up on time. Packed carefully and loaded the next day and began to drive. They unloaded us two days later. They were intelligent and careful. They worked together so they managed heavy items with grace and no damage. I have move 5 times in my adult life and this was the smoothest move. The actual cost was lower than the estimate.

The crew were experienced,helpful and very proficient. At all times we felt they were looking out for us. Communications were very good at all levels.

As I said I did not use them but was impressed at the fact Mr. Reid both called and emailed me and offered me the name of another company that might be able to help move me.

We didn't use them because they were unable to accommodate our request for an East Coast to West Coast move.

I submitted an online inquiry and never got a response back. After a week, I called and a lady answered who sounded as if she had just rolled out of bed. I asked about an estimate price for a move from the East to West coast, but that distance is not provided.

Raining in the morning and the crew was about 30 minutes behind but they weren't charging until they arrive vs. charging for drive time. Got started promptly and worked steadily. Myself and my daughter's boyfriend helped get the items out of the unit into the common areas and they got them wrapped and loaded promptly. Trip to the home went well and after solving some parking issues we got the truck parked and the items loaded in a timely manner. The job was completed within the 4 hr time and I was able to use a $35 coupon from Angie's List. Would recommend Easy Movers. Rohan and LaCory were very courteous and good to work with. They worked well together and took no breaks in the time they were on the job.

Every thing on time and well. Went from Lincolnton, NC to Stanley, NC Very nice and hard working young men. Very pleaded. Exceeded What I thought we would get.

They were great to work with. They contacted me immediately to arranged delivery of the moving boxes. On the day of delivery, the worker carried in all of the boxes and put them where I wanted them. Later an employee of the firm contacted me to arrange an on-site moving estimate. They did a good job with the estimate too and I probably would have used them for the actual move except that my husband had a business contact that he preferred to use.

They are actually fabulous, very professional and very nice. I like their efficiency.

We are moving from Charlotte to Florida. I called Easy Mover and they sent out a sales rep. Carrie to give me an estimate quote for moving our home. After walking through our house Carrie gave me an estimated weight and price. I was about to hire Easy Mover afterwards but I still wanted to get a second opinion. So I called another moving company. The estimated weight from the other company is two times more than the weight Carrie gave me. I called Carrie and asked her why there was such a big difference. To my surprise, Carrie told me that she was probably wrong and the other company was right. Carrie said she was new in the industry and didn't have experience giving quotes. She said she could ask someone else from the company to give me another quote, but then she never called me back. When I called Easy Mover, I told them very specifically that I had a big 5- bedroom house, but they still sent someone with no experience at all to threw me a random price. Fortunately I decided to get a second opinion and found out the weight they gave me was completely off. I have been a member of Angie's List for a long time and I was satisfied with most of the companies I hired on this list. However, I am very disappointed and upset in Easy Mover. Moving a big home is not easy, and dealing with a company like Easy Mover adds a lot of stress and wastes my time!

I called several movers about having furniture moved from our storage unit in Charlotte to our daughter's house in Durham. I was very impressed with Dan Tehaan who answered my questions and explained the entire process and approximate cost to me. Each time I called I talked with him and he remembered me each time. We agreed to a date and I knew the price could vary if the weight went over the minimum of 2200 pounds. The crew called me when they were ready to go to the unit and I met them there. They were so incredibly careful with each piece of furniture! Each was wrapped in quilted pads which were taped in place and each leg was carefully wrapped and taped. A sofa was wrapped in pads and then in a shrink wrap material. I've never seen anything like it. A very careful inventory was made. The furniture was loaded and the truck weighed in about 2 hours. I was called by the office to confirm the weight and price, which was to the penny what I had been quoted. By mid-afternoon my daughter texted that the furniture was all in her new house. She too was so impressed by the careful work and by how nice Terry and Kevin were. :My husband and I moved a year ago from our house to a condo. We used a large local mover, one with a good reputation. It was not a great experience: they failed to come to pack a day early as I had been told they would, the crew was too small for the job, an antique chair was broken, and no piece was as carefully wrapped as every piece was by Easy Movers. I do wish I had known about them a year ago, and if I ever move again Easy Movers will be my company!!

They performed all work as described. They did a good job of keeping me updated with cost, scheduling, and delivery. When faced with a challenge, they worked around it. What impressed me the most is how they handled our piano. it was packaged very well and unpackaged and set up with care. The movers were friendly and made sure that everything was in order. I've dealt with several movers and this company was among the best so far!

Dealing with Don was great. He was very thorough in going through the quotation process and all expectations were well set. Don's crew was awesome. Showed up right on time, each introduced themselves, and were very courteous. They moved at good pace and were good to work with throughout the move. They were very careful when moving all items and all items were wrapped well. They were very capable guys. I would definitely recommend this company for your next move.

These guys were great! Chris and Larry were amazing and got the job done in record time. Don't know how they did it, but they did. Not a scratch anywhere - walls, furniture, nothing. Nothing broken. They were so nice and professional. We couldn't have asked for better help that day. We'd been dreading this project but they made it so easy. It was great having them there. Great communication with the moving company staff prior to the job, too. They were very nice to work with and confirmed everything several times prior to the job. They initiated the contact - I didn't have to constantly check up to make sure everything was on go. Will call this company again in a heartbeat if I have another moving job.

This was a last minute (3 days notice) request to move items. UHaul process was abandoned and had to quickly find someone to pick up, store and deliver to new home. The movers coming to pick up boxes I had packed showed up late due to unforeseen circumstances at previous dropoff. When they arrived, the two men quickly got yo work packing the truck on a cold night. They worked tirelessly and left at 2 in the morning! They called me a day early to deliver and I was ready to receive the truck, so that was great. Three men came and quickly got all 5100 pounds of tubs, boxes, furniture in the house and bed put together. They were done quickly. This was my first experience using a moving company and moving to another state. I was concerned about the process, but Easy Movers were so great that my concerns were unfounded. Nothing was broken, all items were accounted for and all went great! Would use them again with the only change being I would have them pack items, rather then doing that myself. All drivers and workers were courteous and professional.

Four very professional men met my husband at our storage facility and carefully and efficiently moved two full units of furniture and boxes into a moving truck. They moved many heavy items into a house with lots of stairs and always had the best attitudes. They traveled to our apartment and quickly loaded our remaining furniture/boxes and then returned to the house and finished unloading. These four men worked hard for 10 hours with a brief lunch break and were professional, positive, and polite the whole day. We highly recommend Easy Movers and the men that represented them!

The 3 men sent to our apartment to move our furniture arrived about 15 minutes earlier than they scheduled with us. Promptness is a big plus in my eyes. They introduced themselves and were very respectful and professional telling me what they were going to do. They took a quick tour of they apartment to see what they had to move and started right away. Even though I was only moving a few miles they wrapped all the furniture in moving blankets or stretch wrap. Once we got to our new home they moved everything in and placed all the furniture where we asked them to without delay and removed all the packing blankets and stretch wrap. At all times they were professional. A great experience and cheaper than some of the other quotes I received. I would definitely use them again.

My wife and I recently moved to Charlotte last week. Prior to moving we considered a few companies and also considered moving ourselves. We did the math on moving ourselves and it just did not make sense to do it on our own. For a bit more we would not need to worry about the stress, work and time that goes into moving your stuff to another city. We were beyond happy with Easy Movers. We paid for the full service that included insurance, packing of everything, moving, truck driving and then moving it all into our new house. The only thing we had to do was pack a suitcase and get in our car and drive. Everything else was taken care of by Easy Movers. They were simply outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a move.

Phone contact was professional and it was easy to schedule. They called the day before to confirm and arrived on time. The only issue I had was the gentlemen who did the move were very slow. It was difficult not to grab boxes and start helping them.

Once we got to my house in NC on the next day, I still needed some help getting my old furniture out to the road. They worked hard the whole time, always helpful, professional & easy-going while working hard & efficiently. I would definitely recommend them & use them again. When I originally set up the move I was told it was for Sun & Mon. Then, a day or two before the move, a supervisor called to ask if we could do it a day earlier on Sat & Sun. Fortunately, this was better for me, so it worked out. Melvin & Rohan arrived in an Easy Movers truck & used credit card imprint sheets with the Easy Movers name & address on them, & no carbons. My credit/debit card wasn't charged until the Tuesday after the move, which ended the Sunday afternoon before. All of this was very reassuring. Of course, I drove out there to Pineville to talk to the people in the office. Very nice. About a week later, 4/3/14, Easy Movers moved a medium-sized table from my house up to my daughter's house in New Jersey. They worked hard to give me a good price, $400, by timing it with a larger move to NJ. My daughter & son-in-law and I were very pleased with Clarence & Don's helpfulness & courtesy on both ends of the move.

I was scheduled for the movers to arrive on a 1-3 time window. I was called at 12 and told they would arrive at 2. They did not arrive until 4:45 and work started at 5. There were 3 men and they started out quickly. I was concerned about the time window for getting out of the storage unit by 10 as we had decided to drop bed off first then go to storage. They finished loading at 8 and I could tell they were not getting along with each other but I could also tell they were very tired. As it was dark and getting later I just had them drop the bed at the house and not put it back together because my storage unit was only open until 10. I gave them BBQ sandwiches to eat on the way to storage unit in hopes it would give them some energy. I unwrapped the furniture for them and removed tape from pads to help get this move finished as the workers were not getting along. My husband helped unload the truck and had to break up an argument as they were going to go to blows. I was very uncomfortable and we just continued to help get things done so they could go. We finished at 10, I paid my $720 and I will never take an afternoon crew ever again! They had a great rating and I got such a quick response from them. Unfortunately it just started out poorly and didn't get much better. Will be moving out of storage unit but won't be using Easy Movers.

The co. Rep who first came out to survey items did not estimated weight correctly, I constantly told her everything was real wood.

They were fabulous! I cannot speak highly enough regarding their professionalism and genuine sincereness in making sure the customer was taken care of. Their word was like gold - they lived up to their promises. I will use them again if the occasion arises.
