They were very nice and the senior guy appeared to be careful when he moved my stuff and eased it down the two steps between my apartment and the truck but the younger guy let the dolley crash down the two steps. The main problem is that I had a beautiful teak desk and teak filing cabinet that were irreparably damaged. I had paid for the insurance but it took weeks and lots of phone calls to get my claim paid. I was not surprised but it would have been refreshing to have had it handled in a more timely manner. Nothing else was damaged and, like I said, both guys were nice. I was just so upset about my desk and filing cabinet.

Gave friendly and detailed estimate, came down a bit on price, arrived on time were careful and fast in moving furniture out of old house and up 2 flights into new apt. Came in under time estimate. I couldn't be more pleased.

movers were prompt. careful with furniture. professional. did not waste time.

The people were very nice and it was a fair price. I had 2 problems. One is that the boxes were not stacked efficiently and some fragile boxes were turned upside down or on their sides. The 2nd is that I had a 2 wheel cart which dthey (probably accidentally) kept and I was not reimbursed for it.

The three men seemed to always be very conscientious as to the time and the care of our belongings. They also showed compassion and courtesy when it came to making decisions about items to move. During the move they wrapped and protected all of our furniture; no matter the condition of it. They treated us as if we were owners of the finest furniture. They also helped in the loading and unloading of our clothes to the wardrobe boxes. They also helped to move our generator to my husbands truck so we could store it at the home. We would not have been able to do so without their help. They also helped move a stone fountain that was very heavy! Each one of the movers had their expertise. One was the mover guru while the other took extreme care at wrapping our furniture; the third making sure the job went as quickly as possible. These guys were absolutely wonderful.

EasyMovers was a great company! The person who came and did my estimate was very professional and helpful. After I made the decision to choose EasyMovers, the representative I was working with was very responsive and returned my phone calls with questions in a timely manner. The packers movers themselves were top-notch; nothing was broken during the 6+ drive and the movers were willing to move my furniture around in my new apartment until I figured out the best configuration. I highly recommend EasyMovers.

They took general good care of things and the majority of the workmen were helpful and friendly. I will call them when I move again this year.

They picked up on time and delivered to my home close to estimated time. The movers were very careful of my wood floors. They placed the pad and rug in the appropriate spot that I requested and even made a suggestion that it would look better if moved a little closer to fireplace. They were very careful on the piano and placed it where I requested.

Great service, from beginning to end. Carrie was our account exec, and communicated with by email and phone quickly, efficiently and professionally. Estimate was scheduled and took place on time. We packed our own boxes (37 of them) but the movers (3) loaded everything into the 24-foot rig. They took fantastic care, using blankets and shrink wrap for every item that needed it, from small lamps to large pieces of furniture, such as mattresses & couches. 2 guys drove up to NY and worked steadily and carefully getting everything into our home, unwrapping and setting furniture where we wanted it. They were pleasant to have coming in and out of the house, and we felt very comfortable that they knew exactly how to maneuver the large pieces around tight corners with no damage to furniture, floors or walls. We are very pleased with this company and have enthusiastically recommended EasyMovers of Pineville, NC. to our realty company for their list of recommended moving companies.

Really really well. Two men came by the evening before the move to take a quick look. They arrived on time the next morning. Wrapped our furniture. Took the boxes we had packed. They delivered everything to NY in less than a week. Everything arrived in good condition. The other companies that gave us estimates said they couldn't get to us until mid August. Easy Movers was able to meet our timeline.

The move went seamless. The arrived on time and got right to work. I had a concern about a glass table top that I was moving. They took extra precaution to make sure it was wrapped very securely so that it would not break in transit. At my new residence they unloaded, unwrapped, and place furniture where I needed. I would definitly recommend them to my famly and friends.

Excellent experience with Dan, Melvin and Elliot (movers). Very prompt in communicating, courteous and professional throughout. There did seem to be a little mis-communication between Dan and movers, so movers were not prepared with all the packing materials (closet boxes, newsprint to wrap our china), but they promptly remedied by purchasing the needed materials at our local moving store. Was very impressed and have already recommended them to friends/family. They went out of their way and worked long hours to accommodate us. Moving from a house we've lived in for nearly 30 years, they helped us tremendously in a physically/emotionally taxing transition. Highly recommend them.

These guys were great in taking care of wrapping all furniture and loading into the truck. They were very professional and polite. I appreciated all of their hard work they put in on a holiday in getting me moved and settled.

The price was very reasonable compared to other companies I spoke with. They were on time, very on-the-ball, and did a terrific job. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to any and all of my friends. Dan set everything up and was very courteous and business-like. I really appreciated his effort.

I have a lot of mixed emotions about Easy Movers. Don Reid and the folks in the office are always very professional and amazing at customer service. HOWEVER. Depending on the actual movers you get, it can tend to be a crap shoot. I have used Easy Movers 3 times. The 2nd time, they did damage to the thresholds of the original house and the thresholds and hardwood floors of the house I was moving into. These houses were rentals, and the landlord charged me for repairs to fix the damage that Easy Movers caused. When I needed to move a 3rd time in July 2013, I told the office manager about my 2nd move experience, and that I was hesitant to even use them again. I was assured that this 3rd time, only the best 3 movers would take care of me, and I would not be sorry to give them one last chance because I would get gold star service. On the day of the 3rd move, only 2 movers showed up 30 minutes late. I was told that the 3rd mover was a trainee/new guy, and had just had a car accident and may or may not show up.... Long story short, the trainee/3rd mover did finally show up once the 2 movers were almost done with the origin house. I will say that the head mover of the team did make sure I was only charged the estimate, even though they did go over time about 2 hours. The last major issue(s) that occured that leaves me with mixed emotions about Easy Movers. Once we got to the final house, the movers proceeded to bang up my hallway walls with my furniture, and just made flippant suggestions about it (you can just paint over that, right?). If that wasn't bad enough after my past experiences, one of the movers proceeded to complain about how Easy Movers overworks their mover employees and folks in the office over promises things to clients, that the movers have to deliver and can never realistically live up to. He claimed that if damage is done to a house, that repair comes out of their paycheck. He basically complained the entire time he was moving me into my new house. While I sympathize with his/their plight, I am a client who was supposedly supposed to be getting gold star service so I wouldn't stop using them as my moving company. I don't want to hear justifications about why so many mistakes happen and how horrible their lives as employees are. I also don't want to hear how I should just paint over or sand and buff out damage they cause as I pay them to move my furniture. I just want the job done, right. It's really that simple. I'm now supposed to move again in August, 2014. And I am really, really struggling to see a reason why I should stay with Easy Movers.

They did an outstanding job. They took apart beds, cleaned up. They put everything back everything correctly. Used pads to protect the floor from marks. Not even a light bulb was broken. Usually when you move, there's a few dings, but they were very careful. Not even a scratch.

The quote I received was favorable. I have used this mover for long and short distance moves in the past. I found them to be honest and reliable. Although no time was set for the arrival of the moving crew on move-out day or move-in day, they were more than 2.5 hours later than I expected. The price quoted was the most reasonable and there were no surprises. Pick up and delivery were on the days agreed. Because of their honesty and reliability I have given them an overall grade of A, but I struggled on the other categories. For instance professionalism- I color coded my boxes for placement at delivery, there was absolutely no interest at pickup in that knowledge which made delivery more problematic. I had to explain the three colors to one of the crew at least five times. Some boxes were delivered upside down. The box marked "do not crush" had other items placed on top of it. I did not receive the inventory at pickup, instead I received both copies at delivery. I had to ask for the weight ticket. On the other hand, they wrapped my furniture well, put down runners so as not to scratch the floor, and were friendly and generally accommodating. The office crew were professional with good communications skills. When I originally contacted the company the response ended up in my spam mailbox- so if you do not get a response, check your spam.

The whole process was great from beginning to end. The guy who came out to the house went through every room before giving the quote. He asked lots of questions on what they were going to move. The quote detailed everything. They were about 1/2 hour late, but, called ahead to say they were running behind. Dan showed up with the team to apologize and get the job started. He had a second truck lined up just in case it was needed. The team that loaded the truck did a great job. They loaded everything on to one truck and took less time than originally quoted. They were all polite and professional. The next day they met us at the new house on time. They moved everything into the correct rooms and setup all the things they took down the day before. Most of the team unloading were not at the load the day before. They were polite and professional. Both crews did a great job on two very hot days. We would use them again.

I Searched Angie's list for Long Distance and Interstate movers to get quotes for my cross country move. Easy Movers came up and I contacted them. The woman on the phone was very nice and very professional. Except she indicated to me they are not really a long distance moving company. They only operate within the nearby states to North Carolina. They would NOT be able to help me move from Pennsylvania to Seattle. She did provide me with a number to another company they work with that may be able to help. Gave the score I did for Misrepresentation on Angie's. It should be clearer that they operate Locally and Local Interstate NOT Long Distance!

Dan responded immediately to my online request for information and was the most responsive of the three that I contacted. He talked me through the services offered and gave me a preliminary estimate on the options and cost to move our home. In the end we chose another provider who was located in the City where we live, however, had Dan been located in the same city we would have used Easy Movers. I contacted Dan on 3/1/14 and we sold our home at the end of June. Dan stayed in touch during that three month period and provided a final quote quickly once requested. Customer Service is about developing relationships and Dan at Easy Movers in Pineville is very good at customer service.

It was fair. The guy came out in a timely manner. We actually miscommunicated on my part the original schedule that I needed to move it out. But he showed up on time and he gave me an estimate as far as walking through everything. But I am about at a B level right now regarding the price on the estimate.

I called them about a month in advance and they gave me a quote over the phone. Then someone came out to give a more detailed estimate. They were right on the estimate. They told me they would arrive between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. They arrived at 9 a.m. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. They worked fast but they took their time wrapping and preparing the furniture. They never stopped working and ate on the road between homes. I had a very heavy solid wood bedroom set with a king-size bed and a full-size Ikea loft bed that had to be taken apart at the old house and put back together at the new house. I also had a very heavy motorized treadmill. After unpacking everything I can say that nothing was broken. There was a minor problem with the washer (the lid came off when they were taking it out of the house) but they reported it to me immediately and it popped right back into place with no problem. Only minor hiccups: (1) The original estimate called for 4 movers which was recommended by the employee who did the estimate. However, only 3 movers arrived on moving day. They told me that one guy didn't show up but they were working on getting a 4th person. They only charged me the rate for 3 and then a couple of hours into the move the 4th mover arrived. He introduced himself and they were very good about telling me at what time they would start charging for the 4th mover. About an hour after that a 5th mover arrived. He appeared to be in training as I could hear them giving him instructions on how to pick things up and asking him questions about how he would do certain things. He worked very, very hard all day and I was not charged for him. So I really had 5 movers for the price of 4. The great thing is the owner came to my house a couple of hours into the move to personally apologize for the mixup with the 4th mover. I thought that was a nice touch and it definitely showed me they care about quality service. (2) They ran out of room on the truck. They could have gone back for the remaining items but luckily I had my family there. Between an SUV and two cars we were able to make a couple of trips and get the remainder (outdoor wicker furniture set, various boxes, bikes). Again, I didn't HAVE to move it myself but I didn't want to pay a lot of money in time to have them go back with the truck. I also have to say that it was probably hard for the employee who did they in-home estimate to get a good feel for the size truck I needed because not all of the house was moved. One person living in the house remained so some furniture was moved and other furniture stayed.

DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!! EASY MOVERS IS THE PLACE TO BE! After searching for a moving company on such short notice (like "2 weeks" short notice) I called Easy Movers after reading so many positive reviews. From the beginning, everyone took such good care of us. Cynthia, our moving coordinator, was so calming, informative and professional. I was able to secure a moving date for 06/18/2014 with packing assistance on 06/17/2014. Cynthia sent Glenn to do an in home survey and he arrived early and went right to work. There were never any hidden fees or charges and the estimate was pretty much the going rate of all the other companies, so my husband and I booked them. Cynthia then sent an email with a three day itinerary of dates, times and services and for all three days every one came on time and went right to work! The really nice thing about the move was that the crew that showed up on moving day (06/18/14) were the same ones who delivered our belongings to our new place on (06/19/14), ONE FULL DAY EARLIER THAN EXPECTED (YAY)! With the exception of a few minor damages (nothing that can't be fixed), all our pieces arrived in good condition. The final cost of the move was $200.00 LESS than the original estimate! As my husband and I are looking to purchase a home within the next year, we will DEFINITELY use Easy Movers! Thank you Cynthia, Glenn, Cathy, Terry, Chris, Sean, Elliott and any one else that we may have forgotten - you have made our moving experience 'easy'! A++++++

They ran a little late getting to my home due to the previous move running late. Once they arrived, they went right to work. Not one scratch on my walls or on the furniture. They were professional and worked steadily completing the job in 55 minutes (much quicker than I expected). I would definitely use them again. Great work Easy Movers!

Movers arrived on time I had them to move furniture and 25 boxes In a two bdrm apartment. I have some heavy furniture!!! One guy worked his tail off, another worked but if any one stepped In to help including one of my teenage daughters he'd stand back And let her move stuff or do stuff. The third guy couldn't do anything Without someone else! It seemed to go soo slow because of that! The main guy was super professional, super hard working but it was so SLOW!!! We had 5 people moving everything else in the apartment and about 5x the amount of stuff they We're done in 3 hrs the movers were estimated 4 but ended up 6 . Still best price!!!!!
