Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Easy Movers. There was some confusion between what the estimator quoted versus the total amount to be moved. I believe this occured due to the seperate location storage unit. Also, originally only 3 out of the 4 quoted men showed up. BUT I must say, Easy Movers went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The three man crew that showed up worked harder than I could have imagined. Once they realized they were going to need another truck and crew, the head guy assured me that "we'll make sure you're taken care of," and they did! The second crew and truck showed up after another job and from that point forward, we had 7 men moving us. The move in went late into the evening but the crew never wavered - worked hard until the end. The entire crew worked very hard, were extremely courteous and made sure we were happy with where each box was placed. Also, this company REALLY packs up your furniture. Every single piece of furniture / lamp / etc is individually wrapped to ensure safe delivery. This does take some time, but not a single item was broken / scratched in our move. Spoke with the office team after the fact about the miscommunication and was able to reasonably resolve the difference in the estimate and the end cost. We felt that it was a fair compromise. Do yourself a favor and hire Easy Movers - easily one of the best companies we have worked with in a long time!

The estimator called and set up a time and date to estimate the move. He showed up on time and called shortly after with the estimate. We set up a time and date to pick up the furniture. The movers showed up at the time and date and packed up our furniture. We were billed for this service. They stored our furniture and billed us each month for the service. This way we had smaller bills and no large amount to be paid. We called and arranged a date and time to have the furniture delivered. They showed up at the agreed time and date and unloaded our furniture and placed it where we wanted it. They took back all the boxes and packing materials. We paid the driver. nothing was lost and there was very little damage to anything.

I arrived home to the move in progress to find one of the movers smoking a cigarette and talking on a cell phone outside of my building. I soon discovered there were only three movers instead of the requested 4. I started to worry about if the movers were aware of the storage units and when I asked he didnt know they were involved! The 4th mover arrived two hours after the initial arrival, and was clearly the most experienced. The goal for me was to hire more hands and get moved in less time, but the inexperience of the other movers and the two hours of moving with only three movers, resulted in the cost I was trying to stay away from in the first place. AND, I had three adult family members helping!! The office staff dont match up with the moving staff. The best part of the move was Clarence, wish 4 of him had shown up on time.

It went very well.

They arrived on time, went right to work, did not take breaks, packed everything safely into the truck including a 55" flat panel TV, fragile boxes, furniture including some antiques. Everything arrived at the new home intact and scratch free. I would highly recommend Easy Movers and use them again if the future calls for another move. They were very professional and accomodating from initial contact to completion of the move.

Easy Movers arrived on time. They were very professional in disassembling the furniture, and wrapped it in protective materials. They were very friendly and courteous. Everything was done in a timely fashion.

They gave me 3 gentlemen who were extremely positive, friendly, and efficient. They took great care of my things and were great to work with. It's too bad this company doesn't have a location in my new city or I would definitely hire them again! My only regret is that because I had to move out in less than 2 weeks, I had forgotten to use my coupon. I wonder if there is any way they will let me use it after? :)

The packers and the movers were great! They came on time, were very respectful, professional and helpful. We have very heavy (old) solid wood furniture and they handled it all with ease, down a steep flight of stairs! My wife's treasured Tiffany lamps were carefully packed and moved with no problems. I plan to stay at my new address for a while but if I need to move again I will definitely call them.

When construction was almost completed on our house I contacted Easy Movers and scheduled our move, based on previous Angie's List reviews. I contacted them a couple of days before the move to verify the appointment. The day of the move the driver called to alert me they were running a little late. I appreciated the call and they arrived about 20 minutes after the scheduled time. They got right to work and completed loading in the estimated time. When we arrived at the destination I had arranged to have lunch ready for the guys as a courtesy for their hard work. You see, my new house is on a very steep slope and the work ahead would be very arduous. After the simple lunch the guys got right to work and even helped us put together furniture they hadn't taken apart. During all this they maintained a friendly attitude and were careful with our belongings. The work took a bit longer than estimated, but they hadn't counted on the hill and then taking some large, heavy items upsairs to boot! I would not hesitate to use Easy Movers again. Tyree, Terrance, and Rodney are an awesome team!

In this life , it is not all about money . What makes a successful company or busines is much more than a cheap price or fake politeness. Easy Movers proved this without a doubt. When you do business with a company , there can be bumps along the way. It is not the bumps, it is how the business goes about smoothing those bumps out. Mr. Reid went far beyond the call of duty ,showing kindness and compassion when it was truly needed. Not every business owner truly has this gift. I would highly recommend Easy Movers to any of my acquaintances . He made a tough ordeal much easier!

Didn't use service as it was not what I thought I purchased. This co shows up in moving services and has reviews attached to its service, that comment on their moving services. Their information should clearly state "this package is for moving box/materials only". Not clear at all.

The price was good, and they had good reviews on Angie's List, so we decided to use Easy Movers for our move from south Charlotte to Union County. The crews were on-time and worked straight through once they started. Our biggest complaint is that they did not take care of items that we asked them to be especially careful with, specifically a 100 year old vanity and two white upholstered pieces of furniture (sofa and love seat). Either the crew that loaded our furniture, or the one that unloaded broke the mirror on the 100 year old irreplaceable vanity, and the white slip-covered sofa and love seat had black hand prints all over it. We told the moving crews and the man that did our estimate to pay special attention to the vanity given its age several times, but they still broke it. We will use another moving company next time that uses white gloves to handle upholstered pieces, and will take care of our antiques, even if it costs twice as much - found out the hard way that you get what you pay for.

Easy Movers has moved our family several times before. They moved us from Charlotte NC to Columbia, SC,when I accepted a job there in the early 2000's. They then stored our furniture while I worked in SC, and, several years later, moved us into our home once we returned to Charlotte. This team of professionals is top notch! They are always punctual, courteous, professional, and they take the time to insure that your furniture/ belongings are handled with care. Their follow up leading into the move was always impeccable; at no time was I ever uncertain or unclear about next steps and how they would handle our move. Their pricing is always fair and more than reasonable. They are THE BEST! I highly recommend them!

Excellent Service! From my first contact with Easy Movers through the completion of the move, everything was performed with great care and professionalism. Two employees moved three bedrooms of furniture out of my house into a POD so I could remodel the upstairs. Both men were very professional and courteous. They took their time and wrapped each piece in a packing blanket, then wrapped shrink wrap around that. They were very careful. a month later they came back and reversed the process putting the furniture back into the house. They were on time with both visits.

I would like to commend the employees of this company for their professionalism, hard work and working with me when I had to change my date of moving. I had a great experience from the time I called them to have someone come out and give me an estimate. I talked to Carrie Venable in the office she always had a pleasant, professional personality. She was knowledgable and explained everything I needed to know. I called her many times she was always willing to help and alleviate any questions or problems I had. Glenn Coe arrived on time to do my estimate he was very professional, pleasant and answered all questions and made a few suggestions. I had another estimate from another company which was comparable to Easy Movers. But I felt Easy Movers was the company I needed to use. The day of the move the men called me to tell me what time they would arrive and they were there on time. I had Ross and Larry as the main movers as they would be driving to deliver my belongings in Florida. Also, had Antonio to help load. These men worked very hard and wrapped all my furniture were very careful and nothing broke was scratched. Ross and Larry were fantastic and professional, great personalities which made this move a much more enjoyable experience ! I would definitely use them again if I was back in North Carolina Actually, my move was less expensive then the estimate which was nice. Thank you EasyMovers! I can't say enough about how great this team was. The company supplied 4 movers with excellent professionalism and drive! They worked tirelessly from 9 am till 8 pm. They even went above and beyond to help us move some extra items. We have use national companies several times in the past. However, easy movers is the best team we have had. We will certainly recommend Marcus, Aj, Chris and Nick to anyone looking to make a move.

This was actually the second time we used Easy Movers in 3 months. We originally had to move to a temporary apartment while our new house was being built. We were so pleased with the first move that we hired them again. They handled our furniture with great care and it is very heavy. They also did not scratch the walls, at all, which was very important for us, especially the new house. They even worked a miracle to fit all of our stuff into one trip vs. making two trips which saved us some money in the end. Friendly crew, great service. There is nothing not to like.

After a horrific experience with Allied Van Lines, I decided to try Angies List for movers. I was suspicious of all their "a" reviews, but now I agree! They sent 4 professional, experienced men who wrapped my furniture better than I have ever seen done by any other moving company. Every inch was covered (Allied left the bottom 2 inches out to become terribly soiled and/or broken). They were fast and finished in plenty of time for us to start driving that day, which we needed to do. They were clean and picked up after themselves, very polite and great to work with. Upon delivery 3 days later in Boston, the men were fantastic. Set everything in place for me, did not leave a SCRATCH anywhere on any floor/wall. Absolutely the BEST movers I've ever worked with! I gave a B in price because I thought it was high, my Allied price was the same but I had gotten rid of alot of items and knew it would be <15,000 lbs. They said they had to charge me a minimum of 15,000 lbs for the move to be profitable for them, which I find hard to believe. My load came in between 13,000-14,000 so I wish I could have been charged for the actual amount.

They stood me up!!! I was left waiting for them on the morning of the move. When they were late I called in and they said they had cancelled the move because they weren't able to reach me to confirm it over the weekend. I had called in two days earlier to confirm everything and they said it was good to go. But, they had recorded the wrong phone number on the work order and when the crew manager couldn't reach me he just arbitrarily cancelled the move. It had already confirmed by phone with the manager, and I had also been dealing with them through email. I was monitoring my email in case of a problem, but no attempt was made to reach out beyond calling the wrong number. It was completely unprofessional and it left me in a terrible bind. I was able to reach My Three Sons who jumped in and had me scheduled by the end of the same day. They were amazing. I found Easy Movers to be disorganized, unprofessional, and inept. I would not recommend them to anyone, EVER! They did call me two days later to apologize, but by then I was already moved by their competitor. I am going to be placing a review in Angie's list for My Three Sons, so if you're considering a move, call them. DO NOT USE EASY MOVERS!

I can't say enough about how professional everyone was at this company. From the scheduler, to the person who came out to give us an estimate to all of the movers (we had the same head of the movers. Mac, each time which was really nice to see a familiar face over the 4 different days we moved. He was AWESOME and even remembered my husband's favorite football team!) Over the full 4 days, we had NO issues. Who can say that with even one day of moving? They were on time each time, worked very hard all day and were super nice and friendly. For as much as they did for us, I would have expected to pay more than $5K. I couldn't be happier with our experience with Easy Mover's and would recommend them to anyone.

Everything was left exactly where I told them to leave.

.WONDERFUL COMPANY! The two guys worked SO h****** a hot day up and down the narrow stairs of our 3 story townhouse, then drove about 250 miles into the evening. They delivered everything to our home the next day and were very careful and thorough unwrapping and positioning everything. They were careful of the walls at both ends of the delivery and did an exceptional job from beginning to end. Do not fear moving if you use Easy Movers. We highly recommend them!

The move went smoothly and movers got thru very quickly. The only complaint that I have was after unpacking, found out I had some boxes missing. I called and first gentleman was very rude and wanted to know why I waited 2 weeks to call which I advised I had so much stuff and trying to get unpacked. He claims trucks are checked when they come back. I called backed a couple of days later, on a week day and spoke to Kristen and explained the situation. I advised her if truck is checked, they would have seen a new queen size headboard , footboard , slats and mirror that I gave movers because I was moving to a 1 bedroom senior apartment and was not able to sell before moving. She credited my credit card based on basic insurance but said I did not need to fill out claim form which I requested per the brochure I was given. The money does not come close to what I loss and I understand based on insurance but believed should have sent me a claim form so I could go over what I loss instead of doing it on the phone , trying to remember everything in boxes takes a minute. I have never had movers take anything from me before, nor ever file a claim and I have used several movers over the years. I believe in paying it forward and what should have happened is that if they saw they still had items, should have contacted me and brought back. It's only material things, but they were my things. What was refunded to me will not enable me to purchase a third of what was missing. I am still finding things wrong, just opened a box clearly marked glass and all of my glasses were broken. I didn't know that at the time I called, so the claim form would have given me a chance to go over everything. I would still use them, but not the gentlemen that did the moving. It's sad that you can't trust people and that people take advantage of seniors. I have also referred this to the BBB. I hope no one else has to experience this. 9/25/14. Received a call from Kristen at Easy Movers and agreed to refund me for the move. I appreciate Easy Movers taking care of this situation and their apology. Based on this solution , I have updated my review.

They did a great job and the price was great as well.
