The movers arrived a few minutes behind but they called to say they were going to be late. There was supposed to be 3 guys but only 2 were there. They were very courteous and professional. The move took a little longer because the 3rd guy wasn't there but overall it took about 11 hours to pack-up drive and unpack everything. The entire time the guys were super nice and professional. They didn't want me to lift a hand and made sure everything was wrapped with care. I was very satisfied with this service and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Initial telephone contact was very good with scheduling the move. A representative came by and performed a walk-though of all furniture and boxes to be moved. A crew of 3 arrived on schedule, loaded the truck, transported it the 1/2 miles and unloaded everything.and assembled the beds.

The move went very smoothly. It was an easy experience. The crew arrived on time. They obviously knew their business from extensive experience. They worked all day without a break. The extent to which furniture was prepared surprised us. The items were wrapped in mover's blankets which were taped to fit tightly. Then plastic sheeting was applied to hold it all together. All this before the item was moved from the room it occupied. Mirrors and large screen TV were boxed; mattresses were bagged. Maneuvering the large items from the house to truck and into the new house demonstrated that Carlos and this colleagues had lots of experience. Far as we can tell there was absolutely no damage. Watching the operation, the care taken with each item made clear how any damage was completely avoided.

Suzanne was our main contact with the company. She was outstanding with every aspect of the move. She recommended I get a estimate from a big United Van company and they estimated the load at 9800 lbs, cost about $8700. The packing was carried out by 2 very capable women, I forgot their names. They did a very good job with china, framed mirrors and other fragile items. Boxes were marked well. Nothing got broken in the move. They sent 2 trucks the following day as the load limit of each truck is 10,000 lbs. They didn't think the volume of stuff would fit on 1 truck. Terry, Terry, Labone and Carlos were polite, hard working and were acting as a team. You could tell they enjoyed working together as jokes were flying around the team. After loading the household goods, they went to the 2 5x10 storage areas to load those too. Storage area manager told Terry no way he'd get that truck around the buildings and parked cars. Ha! Terry with Carlos' guidance, got the truck perfectly positioned next to the storage area. The next day, they drove to the new house. Our driveway off forest service road precluded the 26 ft truck from entering. They got a small 12 ft truck to off load into and drive that to the house. 4 loads later, they were finished. They had a long day! Terry and Terry worked hard, and were a great team together. Since the load was far lighter than the original weight, we saved big bucks. Even with the small truck surcharge, we were much better off than using a big company movers. Easy Movers give a date of arrival and they stick with it, the biggest company would have given us only a range of 4 dates to arrive. I have recommended Easy Movers to some folks moving this fall.

If you're moving something near and dear to you then it is worth it. There was not one area of the couch or the chair that wasn't covered and protected. It was amazing to just watch.

First experience using Angie List recommendation and it was a fiasco..Makes me question the validity of all these recommendations period.

I found this company on Angie's List and decided to request a quote for moving cross-country, from NJ to TX. I was happy with the quote and description of their service, so I went through the process of reserving the date we had discussed (gave them my credit card info and everything to hold the booking). I then called back a few days later to find out whether or not a different date was available for the same price. The representative said she had to check into it and she would get back to me. She called me back the next day and left me a message stating that the different date would cost a considerable amount of money more, and to call her back to confirm whether or not I wanted to make the change. I made the mistake of assuming that meant my original reservation was still in tact, since I never asked them to cancel or change it. When I was able to give her a call back a couple of days later, I found out that my assumption was wrong. She in fact cancelled my original reservation, and now that date was no longer available. My only option would have been to change the date and pay thousands of dollars more, which I wasn't going to do. It made no logical sense to me why she would cancel my reservation when all I did was ask a question. Confronting her on why she would do that got me no where. I was told I couldn't speak with a supervisor either. So, overall very bad experience.

Movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were polite, professional and efficient. Completed my move in under the time quoted. I highly recommend them!

The experience was phenomenal. I am military and I was unable to get the base to move my household goods due to timing. I located Easy Movers on Angie's List and gave them a call. From the start, they were professional and courteous. The representative really worked with me. I told them I had a strict budget and he got the price down as far as possible to meet that budget. He would answer any questions or concerns and they were really the cheapest moving company I found. Since they were based out of Charlotte and I lived in Goldsboro, which is on the opposite side of North Carolina, the company sent a local vendor out to survey our house and give us a weight estimate. I did price check the large carriers and Easy Movers beat their prices by about $2000 so I was ecstatic. The company packed our whole house in one day. It was about 11000 lbs worth of weight. The following day the movers came and loaded all of our goods. The biggest fear my wife and I had was the possibility of items getting damaged or things missing after the move. The movers were professional and hard workers. They took good care of all of our furniture and let us know things that were wrong before moving the items. The day of delivery went just as well. They helped us place the furniture, they took empty boxes for us, and they were extremely cautious unloading. The company showed up right on time and delivered the goods two days after they picked it. They actually arrived day early and said they could deliver it but I was still in the process of driving so I was unable to have them deliver it early. Overall, the experience was great and I would recommend using Easy Movers to anyone. I was actually glad the military couldn't move us because the movers they use never do a quality job like Easy Movers. I have absolutely no complaints about the company. Thank you for making our stressful moving experience a pleasurable time.

The crew was very punctual, pleasant and worked quickly to perform the move. I'd have given them A's across the board if I hadn't experienced a couple of issues: They didn't bring the mattress covers that they were supposed to, so they had to wrap my mattress in stretch wrap instead. This didn't stand up to the moving process, so my mattress got dirty and the bedding got damaged. Very disappointing. Also, the corner of my platform bed got a little crushed. Looks like it hit something or was used as a pivot point to maneuver the piece. I didn't notice till after the movers left, or I would have raised the issues with them. It's a shame these issues came up. Everyone I worked with at Easy Movers was professional, pleasant and easy to work with. I'd probably use them again, but I'd keep a closer eye on things and make sure they had the appropriate equipment.

We have had many corporate moves over the years with various moving companies (usually the large, interstate companies) and this move was our choice. After doing some research, we decided to call a smaller - local - moving company. Easy Movers sent their estimator who was very professional and grasped the unique aspect of our move (a lot of furniture - antiques, etc.). Estimators of the larger companies we used in the past usually underestimated packing materials and time needed to pack and load despite our telling them what our experiences were with past moves. This always ended up causing a rushed job resulting in broken items, unhappy movers and customers. This time, we packed 80% of our goods ourselves as we were downsizing and going through every item. We had to change our move date several times and Easy Movers was really accommodating and nice about this! The crews worked hard with a really good attitude at both ends. They forgot to bring some packing materials we had requested for those final items needing to be packed but called their office and within an hour a representative arrived with plenty of materials. He came in, introduced himself, dropped off the materials, and made sure we had everything we needed. The loading and packing took one and a half days, one day was allotted to driving, and the final day was for unloading at our new home. The estimator was right on target and had been careful to allow a bit of extra time due to the heat. Moving is never fun no matter how happy one might be about one's new destination and home! Easy Movers made the process as stress-free as possible. We would not hesitate to use them again.

The move was flawless, thanks to the professionalism and courtesy the two movers displayed over the several days it took to pack up my house and settle me into my new place. If everybody was as thoughtful as they both were, the world would be a much better place. They showed great care with my possessions, and I was especially grateful when they disassembled and then reassembled my Select Comfort bed. I could not have done that myself. They even set up my washer for me, something a previous mover had refused to do. This will give you an idea of the level of service they delivered: I'd done all of the packing for a pretty large house by myself, and I was worn out. I apologized that I couldn't do more to help, and they told me to take it easy and rest and that they had it under control. So I did. And they did. A word about the office. My move date kept changing, but the lovely woman scheduling the move took it all in stride. By the time I gave her a third move date I was determined to use this company because of how nice she had been.

Received an email response within a day of my inquiry, but the response stated simply that they apologized and that they could not assist me at this time.

I could not be happier. Four guys arrived on time, introduced themselves and got right to work. They had everything moved into a truck (and we filled the truck) within 4 hours. They were courteous and even repacked a few things that needed to be packed better. They explained everything in detail. All I had to do was watch. the next day, we closed on our new home in the afternoon and they arrived after the closing and had the truck unloaded within 3 hours. They put everything where we wanted it. Nothing was damaged or broken. I would hire then again in an instant. I am actually in conversations now to hire them again for a small job. They came out about a month prior to the job and gave me an estimate for the move. The estimate ended up being high so that worked out to me. Heather, the person who booked the job and coordinated the move was great. She is the person I am working with now on the smaller move. Thanks to everyone who helped move us. Being on a tight budget stinks, but Easy Movers helped keep us under that budget.

The team arrived on time with all the packing material. All the heavy and fragile furniture and 4 flat screen TVs were professionally packed and arrived without any damage. All the furniture was assembled and placed in the new place, where we wanted. They were professional and efficient and the move was completed on time. Would certainly use them again

We had to find a mover on short notice-same week for a long distance move on the July fourth weekend-and these guys provided beautifully. No stress, had to load in the rain, no complaints. Marcus and Stephen were most personable, mindful, and helpful in every way possible. On time, professional service, pads, blankets etc. A job well done!

It went very well. I am cheap and wanted to "help" them at the beginning to get it done sooner since it was by the hour. I quickly realized I was just in the way. They were quick, and careful. Great experience.

They showed up on time. It was a three man crew and all were polite and respectful. They all worked very hard and were very careful loading everything in to truck to take to our new house. They took a break for about 30 mins for lunch and then went right back to work. It took them about 7 hours to load up old house, drive to new house(which was about 20 mins from old one) and unload. They carried everything to the upstairs that needed to go and put back together all the beds. This was a very good experience for our first time using movers. I would use them again.

Extremely professional from start to finish. Staff and movers are very conscientious with time and work quickly without sacrificing quality and care of items being moved.

They worked very efficiently and they were very careful with our belongings. We liked the work that they did. They also worked very fast to get the job done and not to drag out the job.

Let me start by stating that everyone there is really nice. I have spoken w/ Heather and met w/ Glenn for the estimate. Everything was set for the move and Heather knew that nothing seemed to be going right with the sale of current home and purchase of a new one. I was overly conscientious about confirming the date. Eric called on Sunday to say the truck would arrive on Monday between 9 and 930. At 931 I called to see where the truck was. I was told to give it a couple more minutes. 3 minutes had passed and Sean called to say that the truck wouldn't start. He would contact me to let me know when the truck was up and running. 5 minutes passed and panic set in. I had to be out of my house in 2 days. This can't be happening. I can't lift a Green Egg. I called back. He was very pleasant, but could give me no assurance of when the movers could be there. I started calling other Angie's List movers and finally Citywide said they had a cancellation. I called and cancelled w/ Sean. I called and spoke w/ Heather. She assured me I would not be charged. It's unacceptable to not show up. If you are a company w/ a high rating like theirs on Angie List, people trust you. Rent a truck from U a Haul. Do what it takes to get the job done? This caused me mountains of stress and worry. There are a couple gray hairs on my head thanks to this experience. I am grateful that Citywide Moving came through for us.
