Easy Movers from Pineville, NC did a great job moving us from Charlotte to Georgia on June 24/25, 2016. While on Friday the truck showed up fairly late, special efforts were made to rapidly load it and get going. We would give the father/son team that unloaded our stuff on June 25 a grade of excellent. Great job. We would use you again if needed.

My son flew in from another state to help me. I had asked for late delivery as he had driven my car for 14 straight hours and was tired. I booked him hotel and requested late delivery so he could sleep. I was told no they had to deliver early in AM. My son checked out of hotel early to meet them and then they did not show up until late in the day. This caused him not to have the time to do all he had to do before flying out the next day.

I was assured that all the movers were professional, this was not the case. The crew arrived, jumped out of the truck and just started working. No one identified themselves as the head of the crew. I wanted to go over some specific issues we had when we moved into the house - this piece of furniture doesn't fit down the hall and needs to go through the garage, etc. They were not interested. When I finally met the head of the crew, he didn't acknowledge me or make me feel comfortable about the move. My intuition said turn them away, but it was too late to find another company. I later found out that leader was named Ross. He obviously wasn't feeling well and was borderline rude. The rest of the crew was pleasant, but they were not "professional". One much older man, very small and frail. Another man, who was the nicest of the crew (responsible for packing the truck) - but he had a bad back. The last crew member was in good shape, just lazy. I felt that they pulled this crew together at the last minute - at $160 per hour, I expected a lot more. I was upstairs in my office, finishing some packing and I could see the crew boss leaning on the truck in the shade. They all spent a lot of time on their phones - overall, the move went incredibly slow and we had to finish on the second day. This was even worse. Obviously they were tired from Friday - but attitudes were worse, no communication between the crew members. I caught bits of conversation - obviously the three men did not like the crew lead and it was very clear in the actions and words. The move took much longer that we expected. In the end, we had them unload all of the boxes in the garage, just to get them to leave. Finally, Ross appears and tells me I have to complete paperwork. I was asked to provide a survey, but felt extremely intimidated and was not given the opportunity to provide honest feedback. No one from the company called to see how the move was going or followed-up to get our feedback. Once they had my credit card approval - I never heard from them again. I'm still waiting for a refund, they overcharged my card. It has been over a week. I have moved over 20 times in my life, I know how to get things organized and staged for an easy move. I've moved from NC to CA and then from NC to England - all of these complicated moves went 100% more smoothly than this local move AND were less expensive. I joined Angie's list because we will have a lot of projects in our new house, but now I feel like I can't trust the reviews that are posted. Maybe I was just unlucky and got the one bad crew, but I would never take a chance with Easy Movers again and I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Those guys suck.? They were moving 2 book shelves and a treadmill.? They were here probably a week to week and a half later after the purchase date.? I did pay more than $90.? I want to say it was like $175, something like that.? The price was great.? No way I would use them again.? They could have not done the damage they did.? They ran into my walls and gouged them, tore my paint, they did a lot of things and I told them about it and I reported it.?

The move well SO well! Don Reid had passed along to our crew of Carlos, Lavores and Wayne the information needed for the narrow road and steep drive. They were on time, came prepared, and went immediately to work. The three guys were polite and took wonderful care in the shrink wrapping, blanket wrapping and loading of our home. I was immediately at ease, seeing that the care they were taking with all of the contents, was as careful as if it were their own. They made the trip up and back in one day and were still polite and careful in unloading in Rock Hill at 9 PM. I am SO glad we found their reviews in Angies List and that we were able to book them on the desired day. Don Reid was my telephone hand-holder and his cost estimate based on my description was very accurate. We would definitely use them again and request the same crew. And we have already recommended them to others. This was a 5 star, 2 thumbs up experience!

Easy movers arrived within a reasonable time frame but upon arrival they were great. I was moved within 6 hours and it was the best. They made sure I was happy before I left. Marshal even killed some wasps that flew into the house for me. This is the second time I used Easy movers and would easily use them again if I ever have to move. You can't go wrong with this group.

Can't say enough good things about these guys. The entire process, from estimate to moving day, was great. We moved out of one house and into another this past weekend. Our crew was extremely professional, careful, courteous, and super nice. Moving is a pain, but if you have to go through the experience, these are the guys you want to spend the day with!

If it was more than an A, I would have given it to these guys. Dan, Zach and George were great. I was so stressed before the move, since the last few I had were horrible. Those guys made it so stress free, they knew very well their job and did it with a big smile. They cared about my stuff, they had to move a very heavy fridge and did an excellent job. Don Reid was very good from the beginning with all the communication. Thank you Easy movers for the A+ job, F.

Chris and Rodney were unbelievable! Brent was also very good. They should be called AMAZING Movers! Never an issue, never a problem very very little breakage. My wife was so amazed that she gave them all a big kiss when the delivery to SC was completed. I will tell anybody who is moving down to the Carolina's...that they should use these guys.... I usually don't do this review thing many times because in the past the other company's service was either good ...or...bad...not this time...just amazing!! Cynthia also needs a nod...she did a great job scheduling and coordinating.

It went well! The movers were professional and punctual.

Our experience with Easy Movers started off well and ended in frustration. Our move was from NC to TX. This was not a surprise as we have multiple communications with Easy Movers stating that we were moving to TX and the dates we were moving. The initial meeting was to have an employee come to our house to inventory what we were bringing with us to our new home (the only company to do this). We decided to engage their services as the other possibilities proved to be unreliable according to ratings on Angie's List and other sites. Move Out Day: An employee arrived ahead of the truck. Her job was to note each box, chair, etc and tag it with an item number. Three men followed shortly thereafter to load the truck and wrap items in moving blankets. From start to finish, this took approximately 3 hours. Our stuff was being held by Easy Movers Inc in their warehouse for 6 weeks while we waited for our house in TX to be ready. The Move In day was to have been March 26. We contacted them late afternoon on March 25. Our usual rep had left for the day but the man we spoke to agreed that our move was scheduled for the next day and that they would be taking our items out of storage that morning. In North Carolina, over 1200 miles away. Clearly our belongings were not getting delivered 18 hours later. No one has ever explained to us why our items were not already in transit, or what would have happened if we hadn't asked what was happening. Our belongings were delivered to us Sunday evening by two men who had driven practically since we put down the phone Friday night. I can't imagine that that was safe. The two men unloaded and put furniture together cheerfully even though they had to have been exhausted. Our belongings made it safely, fortunately but I would never use Easy Movers Inc again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I am revising this review as the words used to describe what happened weren't exactly mine. I called their office to schedule a service and described what I needed. Was told that it would be perfectly fine and an appointment was made. Gave the lady a CC and all was good. She did tell me the cost so I was aware of what I was going to pay but thought I would have more stuff for them. However, there reluctant behavior was why I didn't have more for them When the men arrived...a little late...there was confusion about what they were told from their office and ended up waiting 10 minutes to find out if they would even perform the service. and in my opinion, that was time I paid for. They couldn't find out so the lead guy made the decision to go ahead and complete the task, even though he was reluctant. Good idea! They were here for approximately 1 1/2 hours with a 3 hour minimum. So he ended up making a decision that made his company more money than expected. I was not asking them to haul junk. I was asking them to move boxes and items from my basement to another storage building. The cost is high for the service I received, so I will search around for others if I ever need another mover.

Easy Movers was fantastic! They were able to get my daughter's shipment on a truck at the last minute for delivery to Maine the following day. The men who picked up the furniture was so courteous and nice and did an excellent job loading and unloading. Everything worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this company!

Bota, Kevin, and Dwayne were the three movers. They wrapped every piece of furniture, (all cushions, removable shelves, etc.). It took a little less than 4 hours from start to finish. (I had previously packed and moved over my belonging (such as dishes, books, kitchen things, etc). When they finished unloading the truck, I asked them to move 7 totes in the garage to the upstairs. They were had no problem Bota had replied "we are here to help you). Every piece of furniture that had to be disassembled was reassembled perfectly. I would definitely use and recommend this company again. I would give them a higher rating than A. If I needed to use the company again, I would ask if it would be possible to have this team.

They showed up on time and the move went off without any problems. They were even able to organize my storage unit so more stuff will fit. We will definitely call them for our future whole house move.

No complaints. The folks were easy to work with to set up the move, and there was no trouble getting a revised estimate when I scaled back on services requested. (Moving is expensive. Having someone pack for me was a luxury I couldn't justify.) The guys ran a few minutes late getting there, but they called to let me know so it was fine. All said and done, they were faster and more efficient than estimated and I came away with about 30% off what I'd though it was going to cost me. I never want to move again, but Easy Movers will be who I call if I have to.

I spoke with Dan to get a quote/estimate for moving us from Chattanooga, TN to Alpharetta, GA. Dan was prompt and professional. He scheduled an on-site survey and the representative was on time, courteous and professional. Dan corresponded with me regularly and was great to work with on getting an estimate. .Our employer eventually went with another bid, but I felt very good about Easy Mover's professionalism and bid accuracy. I would definitely seek their estimate/bid again for future moves. If we had used their services for the actual move, I feel confident it would have been a great experience

The team was on time, professional, and moved our belongings with no issues. This was the second time we had used Easy Movers and we will definitely use them again and recommend their services to others. Great to work with from scheduling to coordinating with their team.

This was one of the most professional and pleasant moves we have ever experienced. From the first phone call to the last item off the truck these team members were just great. They packed each item as if it was invaluable and were careful not to disturb any surrounding goods or structures. They were patient with our unexpected delay in arrival at first site and worked nearly the entire day in rain. They departed in as pleasant a manner as they had arrived. It was obvious that our complete satisfaction was their goal. We have had three moves performed by local companies and have still one more to complete. I can tell you that I truly wish that Easy Movers was doing that move.

I don't think this could have gone smoother. From start to finish Easy Movers was really easy (ha!) to work with. We're a military family where all of our previous moves have been done by the military. This was our first non-military, out-of-pocket move. Normally we would do a move like this by ourselves, but with my husband deployed, I was nervous about being able to do and complete an entire pack out and move on my own. So Easy Movers were great to work with on pricing. I got a few other quotes from other local companies, and they only would give me hourly rates, which aren't reliable with a full pack out and move. Easy movers was the first company we got a quote from that based it on weight. We actually ended up coming in under weight, and under the quoted amount. The actual pack-out was great. Cheryl and her whole team were awesome (ps- Cheryl is a packing rock star!). The guys who came on loading day- Terry Sr, Jr, and Co, were also wonderful and worked. I have an antique German buffet that is irreplaceable and I was extremely concerned about it surviving the move. Terry and his team were fabulous, and knew I was very worried about that particular piece. They took extra care to make sure it was protected and I'm happy to say it survived the move unscathed! We had one casualty from the move - a broken picture frame where the glass was cleanly broken. The claims process for that has been very easy - Heather from Claims has made things very simple. I wish we could have Easy Movers do all of our moves from here on out. I was very very pleased.

It took a little bit of time to set up the move. I was in West Virginia, and Easy Movers is in North Carolina. I was shopping around for movers, and they actually accepted a written quote from a competing company since they couldn't make it out for a walk-through. Before the move they were very responsive by email. Although this process took awhile, everyone was very nice and helpful. The part I was the least satisfied with was the scheduling. They confirmed my preferred move date, but could not tell me what time the movers would be arriving. I actually didn't find out the specific time until about 48 hours before. This was tricky because I needed to schedule a walk-though with the apartment complex before this confirmation. I ended up having to send family members to the new place to meet the movers the next day and stay behind because I couldn't schedule the walk through with the apartment complex earlier in case the movers were unable to come until morning. Other than that the move went very well. The guys that came were very courteous and professional. I found them very easy to work with. They were very organized and efficient. All of my belongings made it safely to the new location, and I found no visible damage. Overall I would use this company again.

Carlos and his team showed up at 9:30 on Saturday morning. They packed up our entire house and loaded the truck the same day. We worked until 10:30 that night but they got us out. The packing work was excellent and they got us out of the house without damaging the walls or floors. They moved us into our new house the following week. The unloading was very quick and professional. All of our stuff arrived undamaged. I was very happy with Carlos and his crew and would use them again.

It was amazingly well! I was really nervous about this move. While we only had a 2 bedroom condo, we accumulated a LOT of stuff (also had a 8x10 storage unit filled). Got everything packed for us. We barely had to pack a single thing (except a few open liquid containers and a few valuables we wanted to take ourselves). The team worked HARD. And it was mid summer in the high 90s. I would say we all enjoyed the experience as much as we could have. Only 1 item broke during the move and Easy Movers fixed it up 100%. Although this was the only negative in that it took about 2 months for the item to get fixed and brought back to me. Otherwise the move was fantastic and I couldn't recommend Easy Movers enough for your next move. They were sooooooo careful with our stuff which is exactly what I was hoping for.

It was a very negative experience. I had a super easy move, relocating one room to another in my home. The lead guy was very rude to me and his fellow working. I have never seen such lazy slow movers in my life. I would never use this company again or recommend it!
