We work very hard for our service experience to have these results. You are very kind. Concerning the negative comments I think we can clear that up very quickly. As you know I have tried to talk with you on three different occasions, but I realize that you are very busy. I like to talk so that I can make sure I understand what all of the issues are by asking questions. If you remember, we were originally asked to come out about changing out a pump and you also had questions concerning acidic water. Keith came out and removed your pump from under your crawlspace and then proceeded to call our Suppliers for sizing and pricing. You cannot just put in “any old pump” without the proper sizing, head, distance, volume, etc...This would account for the phone time. I believe we did fail here, because we failed to communicate that this would be part of our process. Thanks to you bringing this to our attenetion we have already had a training class for our service techs (which we schedule weekly) and this was a big part of that class. I would have come to the same conclusion you did without any of this additional information. We also discovered that you had a well line leak during that inspection and informed you of that issue. This brings me to your concern about how long we actually were on the job. We have had this same problem from time to time over the years until we went out and spent thousands of dollars on gps tracking. Every truck we own has gps. This tells us exactly where we are and for how long. We were at your job for exactly 2 hours and 3 minutes. When you brought your time concerns to us during the service call we instructed Keith to only charge you for the one hour (while we knew full well it was 2 hours). We take into account that the customer is always right (within reason). I hope that these facts will help clear up any concerns you have. My hope is that you will call us again. You can see that dishonesty never entered into this interaction at any time. Our Mission Statement is very clear that honesty and integrity are the two values that we build our platform of service. I recently brought an employee in and chastised him about how he was speaking concerning the truth (totally different person and situation than your concern). If I cannot trust the employees who work for me, I have a huge issue. [Member name removed] I hope that the above information helps you to see who we really are. I read your review last night and was quite surprised to see that you would not use us again. Our records show that when we did a follow up call with you that you would recommend us again. This work was done over four months ago, so maybe you have us mixed up with someone else. I just called you personally and left a message because I'd like to get this resolved. I will address your pricing concern. From time to time we hear that plumbing prices are high. I agree! I typically will expound that everything is high, gas is high, milk is high, insurance is extremely high…you get the point. I can tell you The Plumbing Knight, Inc. runs on a profit of less that 6%. I am sure that you would agree that this percentage is at best humble. Training, drug testing, insurance, equipment, office staff, etc… these are just a few things that we have going on behind the scenes that you may or may not be aware of. Every day we seek new ways of cutting costs to keep our prices down. We also have a policy of giving a price up front to all of our customers. We do this because it is the fairest way to price. Why should you have to pay an hourly rate if the tech is slow or doesn't carry the right parts on their truck? Once the customer agrees to the resolution and the price we get started.
