Great people. Showed up on time and found the real problem. They first checked my water pressure and found it to be very high, 105 psi. They replace the water pressure control valve with one that has a dial so I can monitor the pressure, removed and replace the water heater adding a thermal expansion tank and installed a new shut off valve. gave me a real education on plumbing. If they had just done a remove and replace, I never would have discovered the real issue. Could have blown out pipe joints and other fitting and caused a real mess. Highly recommend them.

Nathan did an excellent job. I could not be anymore pleased. Arrived when scheduled. Began work and didn’t stop until finished. Did several items that were not his responsibility but he felt it completed the job. Upon completion, site was clearer than when he started. Will have more work for them.

Not good. They ran a rooter down the sewer lines and into the septic tank and cold not retrieve it because it twisted in the tank. They listed my cost for removal of one toilet (to run the rooter for the toilet removal as $190. And the cost for rooting at $360. I excavated to uncover the septic tank so they could remove their tangled rooter That cost me a backhoe rental of $200. They told me the cost for them replacing the sewer line from the house to the tank (13 feet) would be $650. I objected and asked the worker to leave. To their credit, they left without charging me for the work thus far. I contacted "Service Plumbing". They came out that same day, completed the work and charged only $150 to install the new sewer line, not including parts which I purchased at Home Depot for about $50. I highly recommend Service Plumbing. Christian Plumbing is way, way over priced for the work they do.

"You called our company on a Saturday and were greeted by our courteous dispatcher (not an answering service) who explained how we structure our service calls, which you agreed to. Upon our technician’s arrival he evaluated your specific situation and presented pricing to access the affected piping, clear it if possible and video scope the line. After you authorized these charges our technician used a cable machine to clear the line, unfortunately it became tangled in the septic tank. He deployed our sewer camera and discovered that the building sewer piping was compromised. You then discussed replacement options with our technician and decided to rent an excavator to replace the damaged piping. Our company and the one mentioned above are very different companies providing very different levels of service and expertise. All of our technicians and staff have been fully vetted, passing drug screening and background checks. We are a family owned business with three generations of the same original family working together every day. We have also been collecting data and learning how to run a sustainable business since 1974. As a responsible business owner, I must operate in a sustainable manner so we will remain here to serve our clients for years to come. We do understand in some cases some people may not want the best, most lasting solution and would prefer only the bare minimum to get by for a while. For this reason, we always provide a firm price before any work is performed. If this is not agreeable, we can part ways as friends. In your case you authorized the cost for and reaped the benefit of our after hours diagnostic and drain cleaning services but this balance remains unpaid. While our technician was still on site you called the other company and began to complain about the price, for this reason we attempted to part ways on equitable terms. I am glad we could help you identify the cause of your sewer problems, but regret you did not express concern over the pricing until after the services were rendered."

Service men arrived and found the blockage with a TV snake. They located the septic, dug up the cap, found roots causing the clog and broke them up. This solved the clog. Although the service was performed well and the service personnel were pleasant and obviously well trained, I feel the the price was excessive but since time was of the essence the cost had to be accepted. Typical of this type of problem.

Don't be fooled by their upfront pricing scheme. It is nothing more than a gimmick that allows them to charge twice as much as they would if they charged by the hour. Your upfront price may not be the same as your next door neighbor. They came to the house, removed a toilet, and unclogged the drain in less than 1 hour and charged $504.00. That was their upfront price. My daughter, not knowing any different, agreed to the charge. After I spoke with Mr. Hobby, he agreed that my daughter should not have been charged that much and offered to refund a mere $99.00. The $405.00 they kept was still twice as much as they deserved. And, they had to come back to the house 8 days later for the same thing and charged $365.00 for another hour of work. My advice is for you to call all of the plumbers in the area before you let Christian Plumbing do the work. Any company with the word "Christian" in their name should be ashamed to rip off their customers.
Response from Christian Plumbing
"I regret that you were not completely satisfied with our services, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction on every job. In the interest of fairness, our documentation shows there was eleven days between the two calls and almost three times the number of hours invested in serving your home as you have listed above. Your daughter initially called our company for service and did not inform us that another party was responsible for providing compensation. After the first service call was performed you called our office and it became clear that you were monetarily responsible for the charges not your daughter whom we had obtained authorization from. In light of this I reviewed the specifics of the service call then called you to discuss it. In an effort to improve your experience with our company I offered you a refund. Even though you were not satisfied with our pricing on the first service call you called us back for a second emergency Saturday call. We dispatched to your location within minutes of receiving your request and provided a solution to your problem that day. In both interactions with our company you requested service and received our prompt, courteous and professional offering. When you called we informed you of how our service calls are structured and you agreed to this. As promised, when we arrived at your home the situation was assessed and you were given a firm price to provide a solution. In both instances you chose to approve the price rather than decline it, we then provided the solution we both agreed upon."

The experience was positive. It was expensive. It was literally a 5 minute job. To their credit they did not break the water main coming into the cabin. It was a very tricky operation. They came out with the right tools and right expertise. They did the work really quickly. They explained everything to me which was really nice and did a really good job. They spent a lot of time accessing the rest of the plumbing in the cabin and providing me with a really good estimate on how to repair or replace other pieces in there.

"I'm sorry you felt the need to post a negative review of our company. I looked back in our records and found that we did not provide service to you in February, and not at all this year. We provided service to you twice in 2014, once in May and once in September (one year ago). We installed a new main water service control valve and made some water pipe repairs in your crawl space. Between these two calls we had almost five hours invested and the combined charges were less than 600.00."
