Office had a lot of turnover. I was sent many, many sub-par employees to clean my home who would argue things like, we don't clean the staircase. I did have a few very wonderful ladies, but more than that were the ones that cleaned twice, and I said, don't send me that person every again. Office staff could be more professional, on occasions, a lot more professional. And lots of turnover there too.

The Pro arrived on time, was very polite and professional. We did an initial walk through and he confirmed all the notes and extra requests that the office sent him out with to make sure he had everything. The Pro worked very diligently and only stopped to ask or answer questions. When he finished cleaning we completed a post-clean walk through before filling out their 49 point check list. During the walk through I pointed out that even though he had vacuumed the baseboards they were still dusty. He immediately took one of his clean rags and touched up all the baseboards in the entire town home. I have to say that the corporate office at MaidPro that took my information and provided the initial estimated cleaning time was right on the spot. Four hours after he showed up, the house was clean to my satisfaction and he was walking out the door. Good customer service, quick call back and email response times and over all a positive experience to work with.

They're very good. They're very well run so they're very good about your schedules, sending reminders and their staff has been really friendly. They are very on-task and they always seem very organized. They ask about things that are important like do you have a dog, is the dog going to be here when we clean, things like that. They always follow up after they clean. I think they're worth their price. I don't have a large base of comparison for that. They're going to be here on Monday.

After MaidPro leaves a room "clean" you can always go into that room immediately afterward and find dust. I do not mean fine dust such as that left over from a vacuum cleaner, but rather large areas which were not cleaned at all. Sometimes I struggle to understand maid services in general. Do they just get the extra large pieces? Is my home so untidy/dirty do they just give up on the small? Is a light dusting and rearranging all I would ever pay for? If you are expecting "Scandinavian" clean, military inspection clean, or some other standard of clean, I have yet to find a service that would meet such a criteria.

Looking at all of the other reviews here, I must have just been unlucky with them. When I first contacted MaidPro, I was very impressed by the information they wanted from me to make sure that my home was cleaned properly. I was very mistaken. The first team member that they sent for a $165 dollar "deep clean" spent most of her time on a phone interview for another job. She neglected to do much of the work in the 4 hours she was here and there was, by no means, a deep clean done. I mentioned this to Customer Service and they assured me that they would send someone different next time and that if I wanted, they would send someone to re-clean. The next time, they sent a different team member, who did a better job, comparatively speaking. Two weeks later, the team member who came did a spectacular job and I requested that they send her each time. That was at the end of January and I never saw her again. When I complained, again they told me that if I was unhappy, Maid Pro would be more than happy to come back and re-clean. For the next 6 weeks after that, the cleaning generally went down hill. Dusting was neglected, my stairs weren't vacuumed, etc. I live alone in a 1650 sf townhome. How can you miss that when you're there four hours or more? Their "re-clean" policy is commendable, but my thought is that they should do it right the first time! Why should I have to be inconvenienced to have someone come back to clean when they've already been there? The last straw was when I received a letter announcing a 6% price increase. At that point, I found a smaller, family owned company who does twice the work at a more reasonable price. As I said, it could have just been my luck, but I would never use MaidPro again.

We strive to provide the best level of service in every client's home and although we would love to have everything go as smoothly as clock work for every single client there are times when we have issues to address. The promise we make to all our clients is that we will address any concerns until you are satisfied with the service. We do not allow our employees to use their cell phones in client's homes and the employee you referred to no longer works for MaidPro because she was unable to meet our high standards. I am sorry you had to experience her less than lack luster service. The service provider that did a super job quit in order to focus on her schooling and her family. I am sorry that you thought the quality of cleaning went down on your last two cleanings. We do follow up calls and send feedback emails after every cleaning because we care about providing consistent service each time and would have been happy to address any issues. I do not see any feedback after the last couple of cleanings you had. We want to hear from our clients so that we can address any issues. I am sorry to have lost your business and that the price increase was disagreeable to you. Good employees are difficult to find and keep. We found it necessary to change our pay structure so that we could attract and keep the best. It was necessary to make the modest price increase- in your case $9 per cleaning- to be able to cover those costs without going out of business. I don't like to lose clients, but certainly don't like to lose a client because of quality issues. If you would like to try us again we would welcome the opportunity to serve you. The cleaning aspect of the service was fine. My main problem with the company is their customer service and how they relate to their customers. I came home and found a sheet that said my home was unserviceable. When I called, I was told that the operations manager would call me back. No one reached out to me so I called two days later since I had received a weird email. They terminated my contract and didn't bother to call or send a direct email. Instead, I received an automatic email saying that they want me back. When I asked about the termination, I was told that my apartment had been unserviceable the last few times. I have only used the service 3 times with the unserviceable date being the last. I never knew when the cleaning people were coming because I didn't receive emails or a calendar with the dates of cleaning. Thereby, they show up and sometimes I wasn't ready. It's fine if they think I'm a slob (I disagree) and don't want to work with me, but I would have preferred an indication. That note on my counter was the first time I heard that my home had been unserviceable a few times. I believe that a service company should take pride in their customer service and this is clearly lacking with MaidPro. If they don't want to work with me, it's their choice, and they have a right to do it. However, just, as customer, I'm expected to communicate termination, I believe they should do the same. I tried very hard to develop a rapport with the people who came to clean my home and in the end, I felt MaidPro did a very bad job in the customer service process.

We goofed on this one. When we encounter a home that we cannot clean because the surfaces (floors, furniture, counters) are not accessible we let the client know. In December, I left a voice mail for the client to let her know that we would need 6 hours (not 2 hours) to properly clean her apartment. We returned in January to find the home unprepared for cleaning, but did our best. When we returned in February we could not clean the apartment because of its condition. Where we goofed was that our automatic email system sent an email to the client notifying her that we had cancelled her schedule prior to her receiving our letter of explanation in the regular mail. We send a calendar to each one of our clients so that they know when we are coming. We have record of sending this client a calendar and never received it back from the US Post Office. The people they send out always do a good job. They do have a turnover with their employees and whenever they send a new person, you have to retrain them. They are very good about calling after the service to make sure you were satisfied every time.

The nature of our scheduling is that we have our service providers going to their assigned homes in the most efficient way possible- so as not to have them driving excessively. We have three arrival windows: 9:00-1:00, 11:00-3:00 or 9:00-3:00. You are currently in out 9:00-1:00 arrival window. If you would like a more specific arrival time we welcome our clients to call the afternoon before or the morning of their scheduled clean to get a narrower arrival window. We work hard to keep all of our great service providers, but employees do occasionally leave us for a variety of reasons. Each service provider we send has been through our professional training program and should be providing the same level of quality of service as the last. If you have specific requests that are unique to your home we ask that you communicate those needs with our office so that we can update your work order and instruct our service providers prior to coming to your home. We don't want our clients to feel that they have to "train" our service providers. We are here to help, not add to your work load. Thank you very much for your business. It is much appreciated.

MaidPro is very professional in their communications. I was contacted several times prior to my appointment. The schedulers contacted me to confirm what I wanted done and when and I was later contacted by the owner to confirm that I had been contacted, whether all of my questions had been answered and whether I had any other questions or concerns. Very professional organization. I have scheduled them for regular biweekly service. It was so nice to come home to a nice clean house - I am THRILLED! It is such a weight off my shoulders! Description of Work: I had MaidPro come in to do an initial baseline cleaning for me. Sonya did an excellent job. Baseboards, windowsills, ledges, chair rails, cabinet doors etc. are all very clean. She also did blinds, ceiling fans doors etc. She even cleaned the Kitty Condo!! This is in addition to the "regular" cleaning jobs of dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, making beds, cleaning the kitchen, polishing the appliances, cleaning the bathrooms, emptying the trash etc. Sonya was great with my pets, they were so comfortable with her that when I came back to drop off the key, they were sleeping in their bed, totally unconcerned that there was someone in "their" house!!

My wife and I have used MaidPro for several years, paying $92.50 for a biweekly cleaning of our 1800 square-foot home. Up until a little over one year ago, this was performed by the same cleaner each time, Sara, who did a wonderful job of keeping our home clean. Sara left MaidPro and we have seen a steady decline in the quality of their cleaning services, most notably over the past 3-4 months. There have been several occasions where MaidPro has had to send staff back to reclean, after a cleaning was poorly done, and they mentioned at one point a couple of months back that they were having some issues with their cleaning staff. We had a regularly scheduled cleaning last Thursday (9/7/12) and received another poor quality cleaning. It is true that MaidPro uses a checklist which is filled in and left for the customer at the end of a cleaning, indicating the cleaning tasks completed. For some time I have had the suspicion that the completion of this form is pro-forma and does not necessarily reflect the work that was actually done. After last week I am sure of it. One of our bathrooms showed no signs of being touched, much less cleaned. I contacted the office staff to alert them to this poor cleaning effort and was eventually able to speak with Sharon, someone with whom I had not worked before. She was very polite and told me that she would happily send someone out to clean the bathroom that had been missed. I expressed my concerns about this becoming a trend with MaidPro?s housecleaning, and was particularly concerned about items checked off that were not completed. She was willing to check with her staff that had cleaned our home that day and would get back to me with an explanation for the uncleaned bathroom. Sharon called me back just a few minutes later to inform me, after checking and confirming with her staff, that not only was the bathroom cleaned as the checklist indicated, but that the cleaner had been accompanied by someone whose only purpose was to ensure the quality of the cleaning performed. She was willing to complete the cleaning as she previously offered, but was adamant that there was no mismatch between what was checked off and what work was actually done. Upon hearing this explanation, and Sharon?s refusal to take responsibility for the completion of the cleaning checklist when the work was not done, I declined her offer to send anyone else out and requested a return of our cleaning fee. She refused to refund our fee and I terminated the MaidPro services and requested our key be returned. MaidPro provided excellent, cost effective cleaning services for many years but they seem to have lost their way and I can no longer recommend their services.

This is Jennifer, the owner of MaidPro, responding to this client's review. We take all of our client's feedback very seriously. Each client receives an email and a phone call after each cleaning to verify that everything was to their satisfaction. We are more than happy to honor our 24 hour re-clean guarantee. Anytime a cleaning does not thrill a client we will come out and address the issue and re-clean the area(s)- no questions asked, no inspection required, & no extra charge. We offered a re-clean to this client multiple times, but he refused the re-clean and insisted on a free cleaning instead (although the bathroom was the only area of the home that was missed). At one point this client threatened to call the police to report fraud because his bathroom was not clean. Unfortunately, giving free cleanings when we don't meet our standards is not an effective way to provide a high quality service to our clients or to make sure our service providers learn from their mistakes. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right and by simply giving a free cleaning this does the client an injustice because the client still has a home that is not cleaned up to our high standard. A re-clean is actually more costly to the business, but our goal is to make sure we have delivered the high level of service all of our clients deserve. They were long time clients and we valued their business.

They charged $180 for one day. My husband feels that it's overpriced, but I am not sure if it's overpriced. It was for 8 hours a day. I think it was reasonable because when I first moved here, I had someone come here for a while like once a day and it took them 3 hours and they charged $90. What they did, I could have done it myself. Morrisville MaidPro did an okay job, but not outstanding. They were punctual, and they worked all day to get the job done. I did not interact personally with them.

My wife and I both work full-time and did not want to mess with housework during the limited time off we have together with the family. Found Maid Pro through ads in our church bulletin in Apex, NC. They did a lot of upfront work with us to make sure they understood our expectations. They have been prompt, thorough, and very focused on making sure we are satisfied. They follow a checklist they reviewed with us to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
