I have been using this co for a few years now and my yard looks beautiful. They saved some very old trees which were dying.

My grass looks great. I wanted organic and they were honest enough to tell me it wasn't 100%. The workers worked hard and were pleasant. They also told me it would not be instantaneous but in just 9 months my lawn looks great

At first they performed as agreed and the yard started to look good. After approx a year we noticed a slip in the quality of our yards appearance as did other neighbors that were using them. I called and left several voice mails and emails to discuss and had a really hard time getting a reply. They apologized- there was new staff and turnover. The gentleman assigned our yard couldn't have been nicer but the quality never got better. We decided to end our services and sent email and voice mail to cancel service. They sent a treatment after the cancellation notice and I said we were not paying bc it was services we had cancelled. Almost a year later and we still get a bill for this every few months. David the owner has never called to speak about it and has hidden behind a few sharp tongued emails. The face that David put on sitting at my kitchen table promising service and quality is not ultimately what we got so we gave our 30 day notice and hired another natural lawn company to do the service. All of our neighbors have switched away as well.

They fertilized my yard. They were supposed to tell me before they came so I could pick up my dog toys. They did not call and threw the fertilizer on the dog toys. I had a hard time getting a hold of the boss. When I did get him to come out he had a bad attitude.

As with nearly all service providers we hire, we chose Organic Solutions from Angie's List. They scheduled a call immediately and reviewed our yard, then explained to us our lawn's needs and their approach to lawn repair and maintenance. We liked and agreed with the more natural approach this company espouses, and signed an annual service contract. The initial service was extensive, involving aeration, soil treatment, seeding and fertilization, and subsequent visits have been as per the schedule provided. Although this approach intentionally leads to slower but more long-lasting results, we have noted the improvement already, and are pleased with the service and results.

I am using them on a yearly plan. The fertilizers used by them are mostly of organic material. Their quality of work is good so far. I would use their service in the future too.

Organic Solutions Inc is a small company and the people there seem to be very nice. They seem to be knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and that impressed me. They told me that this would not be a quick fix project because the soil I have here is almost all clay; it’s not gravel. Last summer it was very hot here and my grass dried up; I thought that I would never have a decent yard. They had anticipated that and assured me that I would not need so much service in the coming year as I would need in the fall. It’s kind of a long term deal with Organic Solutions Inc Company. I’m satisfied with their work until now and we’ll see how things go. I didn’t do a whole lot of research but I think that their prices are comparable. We don’t have appointments; they just call and come in. I’m not here when they come so they leave a small note saying that they had been here. They have been punctual the first time when they had been out. I haven’t called them on anything so I don’t know about their responsiveness so much. I would use them in the future.

My husband talked to a bunch of people and felt comfortable with their product and their method of bringing the product to our house. They usually do it when we are not home. They always advise us when they are coming and they provide something to show us that they have been here. We haven't been using them long to see how the results will be.

These guys are great! We were considering a change from our prior lawn maintenance company this past August, and Danny Moore, the Organic Solutions GM, came out to give us an estimate. Danny was extremely professional and probably the most knowledgeable professional I have met in the industry. However, before making the decision to go with Organic Solutions, we still had one or two more companies to consider, so we delayed our decision until we had met with the others. In the interim, however, our lawn became infested with what we later learned were cutworms, and these cutworms were virtually destroying the lawn. Not knowing what to do, we called the professional - Danny - to ask for his help. He helped us identify the problem over the phone, and came out that very afternoon and sprayed our yard to kill off the infestation. Obviously, we gave him the approval to set us up for the annual program, and in the short time since, Organic Solutions has brought our yard back and it's looking great. If they continue on this same track in the future, they will have our business forever.

Organic Solutions does a very good job, they know what they are talking about, are happy to answer all questions, and there work is really good. All the people who work there are friendly and are happy to explain the process of lawn care. They will do extra small things, such as sweeping the leaves off the patio too!

They were punctual and the presentation was great. They were nice, but they were a lot more than the company we ended up going with. We knew it would be more to go organic, but we decided it would be just as good to go with the non-organic treatment. They were very nice and thorough, but there was around a $40 difference in the individual treatment prices.

I have just started using them, so it is pretty early to make a judgement on them. I would have more of an idea in about a year or so. They appear to know what they are doing. They are here when they say they will be. They work efficiently. The impact of what they do will take time.

The owner of Organic Solutions, David Blankenberg, arrived quite punctually on the day we arranged to have an estimate done. He was very knowledgable and polite and we proceeded with retaining Organic Solutions for our lawn care services since he seemed like the type of person we would want to do business with. However, the entire experience went downhill from there. We planned on having the lawn care scheduled so as not to coincide with other work we were having done on our home as was recommended by David, but for some reason his crew showed up unannounced to get started while we had other crews hard at work on our home. There was some preparation that should have been done by us before Organic Solutions got started on our lawn but we were never given the opportunity, or instructions, to perform them before hand, nevertheless, they got right to work. However, the crew assured us that everything would be fine. Needless to say we had many questions about this service which they performed, and left no intructions as to what to do from there. We called the company on two separate occasions and only received a call back after leaving 2 voice messages on 2 separate days. Finally, we received the email instructions that we should have received before the unscheduled service (which should have been scheduled), and discovered what we should have done before the service and should have been doing for the 4 days since the service had been performed. Of course, the instructions were only received after the bill arrived promptly in the mail. 13 days later, I did finally have the opportunity to discuss the above issues with the owner and he explained the delay in the customer service. Apparently there must have been some miscommunication regarding the messages we left. It also appears that they had the wrong callback number as we never received the owners attempt to contact us. After having all of my questions answered and receiving a direct contact if we have anymore concerns we have decided to continue with the service after initially opting to terminate our relationship. The owner David certainly reassured me and answered all of my questions. My main reason for deciding to continue with Organic Solutions despite the above issues is that I was just so shocked that after such a positive first contact that things turned out the way it did and it seems like our experience was an outlier from the other Angie's List reviews. It makes sense to me that there is another explanation besides blatant disregard for customer service. I will trust that this experience will not be the norm and hope to be able to update this review with more positive ratings depending on the future service and results. I do not like leaving average reviews and hope that this turns out to be an excellent company to assist me with my lawn care needs. However, I feel inclined at this time to be as accurate and honest as possible regarding our experience at this time. I do recommend this company at this time assumming, as I believe, that the above was the result of some technical issues.

They are reliable and prompt. They call the day before which is nice because I have a dog. They leave doggy treats like dog biscuits when they leave. Everything is organic, so it is dog friendly.

Their program is working great. I received a number of different quotes and these guys were the most knowledgeable. The staff is very professional. I had trees taken down after they performed the seeding and they were very quick to return and work on the area where I had stumps taken out. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and their organic approach.

They are wonderful people. By using the organic, we use less water than we would by using the standard fertilizers. They are very knowledgeable about our plants. They also do mowing. They are absolutely top notch.

David Blankenberg of Organic Solutions came out our house to explain their organic fertilization and soil conditioning program using their proprietary Urban Soil Conditioner. This re-seeding was for a new lawn at a new house. Organic Solutions aerated, applied soil conditioner and then reseeded in October 2007. Normally, re-seeding would have occurred in Sept., but they delayed starting until October because of a long persisting drought and heat. The fertilizing program for cool season grasses started officially in November 2007, about a month off schedule due to the drought. Over the winter months we got caught up and back on to the normal schedule. By April 2008 the lawn looked fantastic. It had roots over 5 inches long! Summer of 2008 has seen continued drought and watering restrictions, but my lawn still looks great and has been able to endure another hot summer of drought and watering restrictions with flying colors.
