Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

paperwork (work order receipt) initiates a service contract which I did not want. It was easy to call and cancel the agreement. I will use again.

I admire a company that stands behind their product.

We contacted the company because we had an expired Groupon that we wanted to apply toward our initial visit. We spoke with customer service agent a few times and scheduled for them to come out on 12/18/15 between 9-11 for the initial spray. They never showed up and we never heard from them. Extremely disappointed with this company and wouldn't recommend using them based on their lack of punctuality or professionalism.

It was really bad. We ended up canceling them and going with a different company because after coming out four different times they still didn't get rid of any of the bugs. They didn't charge anything additional on top of $99 for the big deal. They acted like they were very responsive. When I said I'd quit their business, they were like, "Oh, we'll come out." They have good sales people. But, when your product doesn't work, it doesn't matter how good your sales person is.

The service agent who booked the service provided and the exterminator who performed the service were both professional and thorough. The first visit was inside & outside control, and they provided a free follow-up visit because I was still finding live insects. I signed up for bi-monthly exterior treatments, and it seems to be effective.

Company made sure things were taken care of and came back out if there was a problem in a certain area.

They were okay. They did come and they said that they would give me a 60 day warranty, the service they provided they said there would be no bugs and they asked me to wait 48 hours. I called them again last week because the bugs hadn't still gone. So they came over again yesterday and come in to spray. The person who came, I don't think he knew the deal because he left an invoice so I need to call the company because it wasn't 60 days.

Did a good job for a good price.

Did not notice any difference at all after the treatment. Still had spiders and webs popping up all over the place. Bulwark called after seeing my review and apologized for my dissatisfaction. They explained that sometimes treatments need to be performed more than once and offered to come back out for free. We already sold the house so that was not a possibility so they issued me a full refund. Very happy with how they handled the situation.

It went well. I don't know if I would use them again.

The deal was fine. The customer service and the whole setting up an appointment and getting someone out, wasn't ideal. It was a little bit chaotic trying to get the technician to come back and finish the deal. That was the biggest issue. The initial service was done a week or two after the deal was purchased. The technician who came out recommended taking some stuff out of the shelves in the kitchen to have them come back and spray it. Having them follow up on the spray took a little bit longer. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal price. Overall, it was fine. The first technician seemed overworked. It reflected when he came over there. He was cordial. He went into a salesman pitch. He tried to sell some other stuff. He did a quick in and out. Even the second one too, was just in and out. I just felt like I could learn and do the same thing. It just didn't seem like the customer service and the company were one. You could tell that Bulwark was like a separate entity from the customer service. It wasn't like I was speaking to someone who was at customer service right at the same company and the same building. It seemed like they just used an outsourced company, maybe, Angie's List, to handle their appointments and everything. They were just sent out with a list of places to go and do it.

He seemed to have done a very thorough job .

It took me over 1.5 months to connect with the company in order to schedule an appointment. Once I talked to the scheduler, everything went smoothly. The technician was professional, on time, and very thorough. He explained his company's approach to pest control. I was very impressed by his removal and treatment of plug and light switch cover plates. I also appreciated that he left me a humanitarian mouse trap for our garage. Last, but not least, he shared the 60 day guarantee with me and encouraged me to take advantage of it if I saw any pests, wanted the company to remove a dead mice, and/or saw new infestations like a wasp nest.

Since I originally cancelled my relationship with Bulwark for not providing the follow up services, they have attempted to contact me each month to make the experience right. I have not responded to their calls, thinking they would eventually quit calling. But I was wrong. They have tried to contact me for almost a year to make my experience right. I answered their call tonight and was very impressed with their sincerity. Not many businesses will go to the lengths Bulwarks has to make my situation right. Great job!

The service technician did a very nice job, on time, polite and focused. To my knowledge the service has worked fine. I will use them in the future. Initially I had a disappointment with someone in the office who was overly aggressive in several areas--especially signing me up for a yearly contract without my consent. Their management addressed the issue internally, called to apologize and make other arrangements in the future. I certainly appreciated this.

Failed to show on time as promised. Failed to contact me regarding potential termite exterminator services. Failed to provide house treatment for bugs. Failed to provide exterminator inspection when pest control/exterminator finally arrived. My attempts to resolve dispute resulted in being hung up on twice, once by Tyler (name?),however, he was professional, and did say he would look into the matter and did offer refund and free service. ( IMO, if the company cannot provide the service for money, I doubt they can do a good job when doing it for free) and once by an unknown CSR. Refund promised as of 11/4. ( I will recommend to neighbors that they not use this company.

Marcello was very professional, punctual, and on time. He called ahead and I was running late so he started spraying outside the home before I got there to save me some time. He covered his shoes when he entered the home, and explained everything very well as he sprayed along the floorboards throughout the house and inside the wall in two locations. It made a difference in the amount of bugs we were seeing. The spiders have been reduced significantly and the silverfish have completely disappeared. We signed up for the routine service.

Great technician; professional, prompt, courteous. Products used were effective and claimed to be safe for children and pets. No pests noticed in home all summer!

Service as promised. Bulwark was very good at keeping me informed. Everyone I worked with was polite and professional. They arrived on time and did the work with no fuss. The first treatment didn't full take care of the problem and they came back out an retreated the house at no charge. I will continue to use them for bi-monthly treatments.

They came out at their scheduled time and left a description by the door of services performed. They come out only during the summer months and we have been bug free since their visits.

They were great! They showed up on time and did a thorough job and were very professional.

It lasted for a year and then they did the whole house again.
