Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

Jason Testa came out to provide exterminating service for our home specifically for carpenter ants which we have had in one of our rooms. He explained what he was going to do and then treated inside the room and outside our home. This was our first service call with Bulwark and Jason was very thorough and such a pleasant person to deal with which made it a good experience.

Gerard Dunn was very professional knowledgeable and informative. Was very pleasant. Listened very well. Looking forward to having him as our tech for awhile.

Bulwark's representatives have been back twice to make sure the problem is getting resolved. Both Andy Arnette and Tim Edwards have been professional and very informative. I have confidence that they will resolve the problem in the near future. Bulwark is a good company who I have used before and been happy with the results. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been using Bulwark for a couple of years and they are great! My ant guy is Mark Jarvis and he rocks at his job. He always makes sure that I don’t need him to treat inside the house, always ask if there are any places that I notice extra activity, and always makes sure to let me know that he is willing to come back if any beds pop up between treatments. I’m so glad that I found this company.

Alex Ross was the tech. He was on time and thorough. Placed traps and bait on crawl space and around house. Informed me of process and when to expect results. Confirmed he will personally follow up

They did a great job and were very thorough. They were excellent with follow up. We didn't have any more bugs for the next two years. We are in a different home now and are talking about using them again.

After the initial treatment, Bulwark offered to follow up and come back with a different type of treatment and reassured me it was part of the initial treatment and part of their warranty, and they did so and it went ok...then they showed up unexpectedly in another 2 months and quickly stated they were just 'following up' on the initial treatment. I presumed this was just like the prior one as part of their initial service and warranty. They didn't ask if I wanted to buy an additional service, etc. just said they were there checking up on the prior treatment. Then they left me a bill for $79 for my 'every other month' treatment "plan," which I thought was really sneaky and fundamentally dishonest. Not wanting to make a big issue, I just wanted to call and pay for the recent treatment and make sure everything was canceled and keep them off property in the future. The customer service rep insisted I make the payment first and give them my credit card information, which after they took they stated they couldn't "cancel" future services! So they transferred me to a supervisor, who kept trying to lower the price to get me to sign up for service. It got worse and worse...the supervisor then told me she wouldn't let me 'cancel' on the phone (cancel what!) and said they would need to check my 'service agreement' in order to process my cancellation like this! All I did was buy this **** one time Angie's List service! This type of slickness is not right. And I am someone that reads the fine print and details...and doesn't ever complain - I just don't use a business if they aren't good. I'm the type that won't even send food back if it is messed up in a restaurant. I am guessing they regularly get this deception by the common person that just goes along and gives them a credit card. Fundamentally deceptive and dishonest. ABSOLUTELY do not do business with them.

Excellent. My service were performed by Raymond Ray. He did an excellent job. He answered all my questions to my concerns and what types of insecticide he will be using. He was ver professional, kind and courteous. I would recommend this company. The price was great. I got this company off Groupon just to try it out. I will use it again.

The Bulwark team is always professional and take care to lay the pesticides carefully and only in the designated areas. Additionally they are responsive if we need service in between our regularly schedule appointments.

It went well. Depending on the rep, some were respectful and put in booties before entering the condo.

I called Bulwark on Friday and set up an appointment for Monday. Was given the instructions of what to do the day before arrival, and when David showed up on Monday and was quick and did a thorough job.
