Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

I think they do an excellent job. Since we have had Bulwark we haven’t had any pests inside the house. They mostly do their work outside and they take down any cobwebs and wasps nests. If by chance we see something on the screen porch we call them and they come back right away. The price is pretty much in the range of what they all are. When they say they’re coming they show up. However, we rarely see them so it’s hard to tell if they are punctual.

Very good service and excellent responsiveness to setting up an initial appointment. Showed up on time. Very friendly. I even purchased a service contract. The only difficulty was receiving a bill for the initial service from the company's headquarters instead of them applying the pre-paid service from Angie's List. I now have to deal with this accounting matter. Other than that, it went very well.

We purchased the Angie's List coupon for the one time treatment. After this initial treatment we are going on an every other month plan to treat the outside of the house. I understood from the purchase of the coupon that they would try to sell me on an annual plan, however it was certainly not a hard sell and they were willing to discuss quarterly or semi annual treatments. The technician was very knowledgeable and explained all the treatments in depth prior to spraying anything. Though this is just my first treatment, I feel that I made the right choice going with Bulwark.

Their price is about average. I have only had them for two weeks.

I bought a deal from Angie's List for $68 whole house treatment from Bulwark Exterminating. I received a call that same day from a "480" area code (Arizona) which turned out to be their service technician wanting to discuss the service. They were very friendly and helpful and scheduled an appointment for three days later. On the day of service, the tech arrived on-time and got started right away. He sprayed outside for the insects we had reported to have problems with, then asked if I wanted "Eco-Friendly" or another product - I opted for the "Eco-Friendly"; the tech told me that all of their products were non-toxic and safe for humans and pets and then sprayed inside using some aerosol cans. We have also been experiencing some sporadic issues with mice, so he laid some "glue board" traps with bait around in a few areas at no additional cost. When it was time to sign the paperwork, he asked if I wanted to sign-up for their quarterly or monthly service. I agreed to quarterly and he said there would be a $69 charge today, then a $69 charge each quarter. I told him that I had purchased a "deal" from Angie's List and he said "I wouldn't know anything about that, you'll have to call the office". The regular price appeared to be $69 and my "deal" from Angie's List was $68 ... not sure how much of a deal that really is. The advertised "regular price" was over $125, so I'm not sure what's up with the pricing difference. Maybe the quoted Angie's List deal was for a "one-time" service as opposed to an on-going contract? I wished the tech had been aware of the deal that I bought - that seemed a little odd to me. If I pre-paid, he shouldn't have been asking for payment for the same service. Aside from that small issue with the payment, the service was fantastic - we'll see what the results are soon enough!

They are prompt. I am not sure that their service is as good a value as it should be. I am using them to a lesser degree.

Started as a disaster but the company worked with me and we got everything handled. They listened to me on my requirements and I believe going forward I will not have any problems. If you have the proper technician (Brandon) the job is handled professionally and correctly. He is so professional, responsive, and I could go on and on but I think you get the point, and he really knows what he is doing. Thank you for working with us to make this a overall great experience.

I am satisfied with them. I am pleased with their service. They come in and introduce themselves to me before they start to work and that’s really a nice thing. I am pleased with their quality. I can't rate them on price as i have nothing to compare with.

I don't know if they do general pests. I've been very happy with their service. They are due to come in two weeks for my check. They come four times a year for a termite check. We have it worked out so that they take the payment monthly. It's a monthly thing that comes out of my credit card. They change their prices all the time from year to year. The initial start up fee when they put the termite traps and baits was $360. That was for installing a year's worth of monitoring. They have been very on top of the termite control. When they have found termites in the traps they have been very proactive about coming back and digging around the outside of my home and putting some kind of pesticide that will protect the home. There was no charge for that since that was all part of the service. They've just been really good about coming every three months and checking those traps, changing them out and monitoring the situation. They've been proactive about treating when they feel that it needs done. They are very reasonable.

I've been using them for 1 1/2 years. I am on a bi-weekly type of thing and it is about $65 a month. Their customer service stands out. When they show up at the door I feel like a million bucks. There are only about two or three companies that I would rave about and they are one of them. They put on the boots and they make me feel comfortable. They will come back if I want them to. They treat me with respect. It is like an old time type of customer service. They are a national chain but they make me feel like they are a small company. I’ve never checked pricing anywhere else because of the service. I will absolutely continue to use them.

They have a yearly contract where they come out six times within that contract, but if you want you can just call them to come out whenever you need them, without a contract.

Their price is average. I would use them again in the future.

I like them very, very much. They call me and tell me when they are coming. They are here at the time they said they would come. I like the service very much, it's reasonable.

It’s a little early to tell how they’re doing yet, since I’ve only had them once, but that one experience was a good one. The technicians were very punctual, professional, and they really know their business.

My neighbors first recommended Bulwark to me and we have been using them for the last three years. We are satisfied with their service and I will continue to use them in the future.

I have an annual contract with them so they come and spray once every two or three months. They do a pretty good job and they are great. It is a scheduled service. I haven’t had any pests so that means they are good. They call ahead and tell you when they are going to be there. They show up when they say they are going to be.

I felt like they had a good price for the services that they provided. They come out as often as you need, but we use them on a quarterly basis.

I am on an annual contract with them and I think their monthly pricing is excessive. They always spray the outside but only spray the inside if you request it. They do not call ahead to confirm their appointment but for the moment I will use them again in the future.

I have had three other pest-control companies that I have used and Bullwark Exterminating I have kept for longer than a year. It has been taking a while to adjust to what needs to be done to my property. They are the only ones that are more effective.

They are great and offer good customer service. They are very responsive and they have offered me a very good comprehensive of what my options are. I was also very pleased with their thorough explanation of the chemicals they use since I have a pet. They made sure that I was well aware of the impact of what they were doing and how it could affect my pet. The price reflects bi-monthly service and is very reasonable. I was also very happy that they dropped the first cost of the first assessment since I was flexible with the date.

They will do extra treatment on our request if we have any particular complaints like ants in the garage or something, and it is no extra money and just part of the service. The only complaint I have got with them is that it is a different technician every time but it doesn't really matter as long as they know what they are doing. They get the job done. They call two days ahead of time and they come out and do it. They are always here when they say they are going to be here, and they do a thorough job. They are good. We will continue to use their services unless something goes wrong.
