Bulwark Exterminating - Charlotte

You know, I would give them probably a 'B', because, they did half of the work and then I had to contact them again to do the rest of the work. So, I don't think that is acceptable. Basically, when they were exterminating it was raining outside, so they said they would come some other day. But that some other day never came, so then I had to call them.

It went very well. They came out 2 weeks ago. It was all good.

Very professional and personable individuals. Always feel safe and like they are telling the truth. Started an on-going contract with them.

Evan was extremely courteous & professional, explaining everything he was doing.

Company arrived when they said they would and treated. They seemed efficient.

No problems. very efficient. lots of dead bugs (outside) after treatment. any that make their way inside are dead/dying in morning. (most get in through chimney) Only issue is confusion with big deal (prepaid) and accounting. received bill for service even though exterminator wrote info down. waiting on return call. Don't see this as big issue

They use chemicals that are nontoxic to humans and are echo friendly. If I have a problem, they come immediately. I've had some ant problem and they took care of it right away. They are always friendly and accommodating.

John was one of the most pleasant service technicians I've ever met, all industries included. He was promptly on-time, very polite and congenial, and most importantly, very thorough with both the service and accompanying explanations. I would highly recommend both John and Bulwark for any extermination needs.

I was not able to watch where they sprayed. If they know I am watching they do a better job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. They answered my questions.One particular part that I appreciated was the fact that he explained that they use an eco-friendly product because I have small children in the house so that was very important for me, to hear that without having to ask that from them. The gentleman did a good job as far as taking care of the issues that I had concerns with. One thing I did not like was when the representative called to get a schedule for them to come out; they were kind of persistent about wanting me to sign a contract, saying that they know what it takes to take care of pest control problems in my home. I wasn't ready to be involved in the contract but I did go ahead and sign up for that but I just didn't specifically like that.

I apologize for not contacting Bulwark directly when the initial visit was not performed correctly. They did send a technician out to redo the pest control application and he did a good job. The follow-up from Jeff was very nice and professional. He indicated that he would better train the person in question. I am pleased that they did the job right and will guarantee it. Thank you very much.

Bulwark is very professional in everything they do. All people who come to the house are in clean neat uniforms, so you know who they are. When they came to install the termite bait system, they explained how it worked and everything they were going to do. They answer any and all questions without you feeling like a dummy. When one bait trap had termites, they came out on a regular basis to continue checking the trap. I feel that my home and family are safe because of Bulwark.

Immediate relief for various bugs, including roaches and crickets. Several of each showed up afterwards but tapered off to very few after a week or so. Still have occasional appearance and might call Bulwark back for free re-treatment.

The company refused to do the treatment for the Big Deal service unless I signed up for a one-year contract.

They are environmentally friendly. They come right back out if you have any problems. They are really great and friendly.

It was excellent and I was very pleased. The service man was very personable, explained everything to me, and answered all of my questions. He was very efficient in what he did. I have no complaints. It was what I expected and I could not be happier with the way it turned out. There were not any and he explained to me about putting them in the ground. He informed on what a good deal I got on that. He explained the comparison to what other companies charged, reassured me that I had received a good deal and I appreciated that. I assume it is working; I have not had my first check yet. I do like his work. He was right on time. I will continue to use him.

They got the appointment time mixed up. My appointment was supposed to be between 8 and 10 a.m., but they had it written down as 6 p.m. They showed up around 8 p.m. and performed the services. When I called to find out why they had not shown up at the time I was given as my appointment time, I was informed of the mix up and was told that I would be credited back my $68. A credit has not been processed through my bank as of today, nor do I see a credit on my Angie's List account. Bulwark came back out on 7/25/13 and treated the yard for ants for free because of the mix up. They are very nice and have went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I received my refund as well. Thanks guys; you have more than made up for everything, and I will definitely use your service again in the future.

VERY polite young men and also very knowledgeable about ants and how to get rid of them. Their treatments are working! 8/9/13: I had a sudden surge of ants appear again in my kitchen and a very knowledgeable man came and searched my property to find the source of the ants and treated them there as well as in my kitchen. He also figured out from "droppings" on the side of my house that I probably have bats in the attic! Bulwark doesn't treat for bats, but he recommended two companies to call. I have had three different men come for treatments. ALL of them are professional and know a lot about bugs!

the man who came was not very friendly and seemed somewhat aggravated when I asked him some specific questions. The answers were not good for my house. I live in an older house without many outlets and a lot of those outlets were covered by furniture. The way this company sprays is to inject the posion into the outlets. The whole procedure was pretty useless for my house.

They came out on set date/time, performed their service very well. It was efficient as well because they sent a serviceman who was licensed to do both services that I ordered. I purchased additional services with this company because of their professionalism and efficiency and now have an ongoing contract with them. I was relieved to find a company that actually was professional and efficient, who actually did what they said they would do at the time they said they would do it. Thank you Angie's List!

Fine. I'm able to enjoy being outdoors without mosquitos.

The service was fine. The tech called and stated that he was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. We agreed and the work was done sooner than we expected. He was very respectful and removed his shoes before coming into the house and seemed to do a very thorough job both inside and out. The chemicals used did not have any odor and were not objectionable in any way. Although it's too early too tell about the longer term effectiveness of the treatment it seems to have done the job so far (about 2 weeks ago).
