My experience with Bulwark was a positive one. I took advantage of an Angie's List Big Deal being offerred by Bulwark. I signed up for this deal and was contacted the next day for an appointment. The date and time was set up and the technician arrived as scheduled. The technician was thorough and professional, answering all questions I had. The treatment took care of my immediate problem. I did notice some ants again after about 5 weeks. I contacted them and they sent a technician out again to re-treat the problem area -- no charge of course. A good experience all around.

Although they tried to sell us a contract, they did a great job. They sprayed and we haven't seen any ants since.

No response after two calls

I contacted Bulwark through an Angie's List Big Deal. Every year in late spring the cockroaches start showing up around the yard and ultimately make their way into our home. We spoke to Bulwark about this and they went into great detail about their processes for combating the issue - both outside and inside. The service technician was very professional and on time. As far as the results, I have mixed feelings. It seemed that the cockroach activity diminished, but it never really went away, and it seemed that within a month or two, the insect activity was back to normal. To Bulwark's defense, i did not reach back out to them even though they say the service should keep the critters at may for approx 3 months. What turned me off a bit with Bulwark is that they were continually trying to sell me their year round plan, which I wasn't interested in. After I told them no, they still called about 3 months later looking to schedule a follow up visit, and when I informed them that I still wasn't interested, they corrected their scheduling. I can't blame them for trying to make sales, but it came across a little on the pushy side.

They put on their little slippers when they come in. I have dogs so they always let me know when they are in the outside. They do the inside first and we let the dogs out and then we bring the dogs back in and they do the outside. They come every quarter and anytime in between, if I see anything, they come out for it. They sent me a picture of the person who’s going to come.

He was prompt and fairly professional. Before the appointment was made I was contacted and they tried very hard to up sell their services. It was done in my opinion very unprofessional, and I didn't appreciate that at all. After the treatment, we didn't notice one bit of difference. Had the same amount of rolly pollys, spiders, and roaches, so in my opinion, the treatment didn't work at all. The guy who did the treatment did not know how long the treatment was to last. And when making the appointment, the person said if we didn't give them an A for their service that I was to call them back before posting my opinion. I thought long and hard about this and chose not to contact them before posting this review. I just didn't like their tone, didn't think the treatment worked, hence this lousy review.

We purchased an Angie's Deal from Bulwark for a one time pest treatment. The employee who performed the service was knowledgeable and gave us tips for future service. We are having the crawl space sealed and he suggested having that area treated after that with a powder formula. We will use Bulwark in the future for pest control and plan to use them for Termite coverage as well.

Professional service, excellent communication, effective treatment of insects

Garret called me back quickly and answered my questions clearly. He was congenial, courteous, and professional. He set up an appointment day and time for the very near future at my convenience.There was a snag in that the man was late to my appointment and I had to talk to two or three office people to find out if he was still coming. It took a few calls to get an office person who knew who was scheduled to come to me. The exterminator did come late ( more than an hour late) but on e he came he did a thorough job and was a courteous professional. Because the office staff and the exterminator were genuinely apologetic and did get the man out to my home the same day, I have continued to do business with them and feel they do a very good job. I recommend them.

They were friendly although they tried to upsell for other extermination services. Called ahead and showed up during window of appointment time. I didn't totally understand or know what the bait stations looked like. They are somewhat unsightly and ruin the oval look of the landscape. Not sure I would have gone ahead with service had I known in advance what they looked like. I'm debating the renewal since the big deal was a year of service and that is coming to an end.

Technician was prompt and professional. He explained everything to me. I had to contact Garret with Bulwark again (today) due to the return of some spiders around my house and he promptly responded and is having someone contact me to come out again (at no extra cost).

During this summer, pests, especially ants, have been a problem. Bulwark has been very prompt when we have asked for a treatment between regular treatments ( which are every other month). It is working.

Just started a quarterly service with Bulwark after reading positive reviews. So far so good. Good communication, arrived on time, professional, and haven't had pest issues since. I plan on maintaining service with them.

Treatment went fine. Technician was very friendly and professional. Completed the job in less than an hour. I didn't end up continuing service with them just due to cost. This initial treatment was part of a Big Deal and the ongoing treatments I felt were too expensive. Having been in the house for 7 years, I've always handled pest control myself, so to be fair, their prices could be in line with other pest control companies in town - I just felt that the cost of managing it myself versus the cost of them handling it wasn't worth it to me.

Was here for quite a while...more than 1 hour. Very personable exterminator. Only thing is, I still have spiders and ants in my home....saw on several occasions, and took care of them myself. He told me to call if I had any problem and that he would come out again, but I did not call yet.

It went great. The technician was a real nice and friendly fellow and I am very pleased with what he did. No additional charges. This is the first time I am using them. I would use them again in the future.

A Big Deal for pest control services was purchased to deal with spiders seen in my home. Making the appointment was easy and pleasant. The technician was prompt and professional. A few weeks after the first treatment, we asked them to return due to a few more bugs seen in the house (it was during a raining spell we were having). It was no problem getting them to come out and spray again at no cost to me. I'm pleased with the service and would recommend this company to others.

I purchased an Angies List deal for pest control services. I immediately called Bulwark Exterminating to set up an appointment. The exterminator came on time, described exactly what he will be doing and proceeded to complete the work. Very professional. Would use again.

The service guy followed up to make sure I was happy. It turned out pretty good so I decided to start regular service with them. So far, so good. I like that they knock on the door to tell you they are here and they go about their business. I work from home and it’s not a big distraction which is good. I haven’t had any problems.
