He blew out the dryer vent for us, but we can't tell any differnce when drying our clothes.

Responded very promptly to our initial call, and arranged a time for service the next day. The serviceman arrived at the time that was promised (after calling to let us know he was on the way). He was very friendly and courteous, and explained all the options without pressuring us. Went about his work efficiently. This is the first time that we've had our dryer vent cleaned, but we were very pleased with the work and would definitely use Dryer Vent Wizard again.

Dryer Vent Wizard did an excellent job with the repairs I needed. I filled out the request form on their website on a Sunday afternoon and received a call from them later that evening to schedule an appointment. My original appointment was scheduled for the following Tuesday, but on Monday I received a call from them that they had an opening and would it be possible for them to come out. They came out and did an assessment of what I wanted completed and I authorized them to complete the work. All of their services are provided at a flat rate, so there are no surprises in the cost once the work is completed. I'm happy to say my dryer is back to it's old self and dries a load of laundry before the washer has completed its next cycle!

Dryer didn't seem to be drying very well, so called for dryer vent cleaning. Ended up also replacing the vent line. Dryer is working great now.

We have a small laundry area (more of a closet than a room). New house cleaners moved the dryer to clean around it, causing the dryer vent to become unplugged. We called in Dryer Vent Wizard to get it hooked back up and cleaned out, since I was sure it needed to be done. They were able to fit me in the same day which was really nice. The technician made a full inspection and took a picture inside the vent to show us how clogged it was. He also found out that the fabric crinkly vent wasn't just the little bit that came out of the wall - it went up through the wall and through the ventilation system. We made the decision to have it replaced with a proper metal duct/vent. That was scheduled for the next day. Once the technician arrived, we went over the work that was to be performed and he got busy. When he left, we had a very nice metal duct/vent without any new holes in the sheetrock or side of the house (except for a small hole in the laundry area where the pipe needed to come through. The dryer now dries a lot faster.

I was referred to Dryer Vent Wizard from 123 Appliance repair after our dryer's thermostat went out. James at 123 highly recommended that we follow up with Dryer Vent. We called late Monday night and they answered immediately and scheduled to come out the following day. We heard back from Michael and he came out and showed me the old aluminum tubing coming out of my dryer and said it wasn't up to code and that we really needed to replace with the metal one. I have 2 kids and animals and absolutely do not wish for my house to burn down because of my dryer so I said fix it! Michael was very professional and kind. He fixed us right up and I immediately began forwarding his company to friends and family. Later that afternoon, I received a call from the owner, Dave, thanking me for referring my friend to them. He absolutely did not have to take the time to thank me for it, but I thought it was a very nice gesture. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to maintain their vent cleaning. :)

Our dryer was taking two cycles to dry a load so I knew we needed our vent cleaned. David did a great job! First he called and arrived at the agreed upon time then he did a complete exam of the dryer and vent to determine what needed to be done. He showed me everything in his price manual so I knew what to expect for each part of the job. David did a thorough job cleaning out our dryer vent and now the dryer works so efficiently. What a difference! I will make a point to call Dryer Vent Wizard every year to keep my dryer vent clean and my dryer working at its best now that I know how easy it is.

Rep was on time & prepared. We assessed the dryer vent problem, found a severe fire hazard vent pipe. he went under house & fixed it all and all parts on truck - no waiting!

It went wonderfully. The technician was on time and was very knowledgeable. He cleaned the vents, moved the dryer when he was done he put the dryer back in place and cleaned up the lent that escaped into my yard. Great experience and would use them again!

My service technician was Michael Lavalle. He was prompt and courteous. I have a peculiar laundry room, long and narrow, and the previous owners ran the dryer vent off the right side of the dryer (true side vent dryer) for about 3 feet, through a cabinet, and then into the wall and up into the attic. Because mid-range side vent dryers are so hard to find now, I wanted to 'deal with' the problem definitively. Mr. Lavalle and I spent considerable time considering options including an inspection of the attic. The problem was compounded by the air handler's location in the attic and the fact that the vent wall was load bearing (which obviously led to the original strange vent location). After some back and forth we came up with a "solution" that would require a total re-route with vent exposed in the laundry room, and exiting through the roof. He estimated this would cost about $1000. Yikes! And the problem is that the 90 degree elbow at the back of the dryer would push it 6-8 inches away from the wall, making it impossible to open the door fully due to the narrowness of the room. At this point I asked him about periscope dryer vent adaptors which are commonly used in laundry closets and other spaces with tight clearance. I had researched them in advance. You can find them on Amazon. He said "we don't install those". He didn't say anything about them being a bad idea in any way, like prone to cause fires or wreck your dryer. It just wasn't part of their product line. How I solved the problem: periscope dryer vent with straight adaptor from Amazon $22 or thereabouts, 2 foot rigid vent pipe from Lowe's $4, roll of vent tape from Lowe's $5, short piece of flex from periscope vent to straight vent - free. Total cost less than $40. New dryer works great. So I am giving this company a C grade because a simple and kind of obvious fix was not offered even after I specifically brought it up. I was not educated that it was a bad idea, so I am left to suppose that they don't like periscopes because it's a low dollar fix. On the other hand, it was clear that the technician was knowledgeable about construction issues and ventilation / air flow requirements for dryers. So I would certainly trust them to do a job correctly.

The tech arrived on time, had ID and papers ready to introduce himself at the door. We had a nest being built in the vent, so we walked around the side of the house and showed him where the vent exit was. He got up there and confirmed. We returned in the house to the dryer and he went over the procedure. He went to work and examine the dryer and vent, then reviewed what was needed to be done before doing it. We proceeded with his assessment. First, he opened the dryer, vacuumed and cleaned out any lint or material that was in the dryer. Replaced and upgraded the dryer tube. Cleaned any lint or material that was around the dryer. He then went outside to remove the nest and upgraded the vent exit with a trap door so we wouldn't get birds. Everything was chalked around the siding and cleaned up. Before any of this, the tech and I talked a little about cars, which I didn't mind. He saw a couple my toys sitting around and it ended up he had a similar car. It wasn't expected, but when it was time to pay, the tech gave me a discount for being "a cool guy". With or without the discount my experience with the company was great.

Very professional, my dryer is now thoroughly clean offered preventive information that other companied do not.
