Description of Work: The experience started well with the scheduling, but did not end well. The worker arrived on time and my wife pointed out the work that needed to be done. The worker advised that he could not patch a hole in the ceiling. She then asked about a crack in the wall. He stated he would have to get fast drying plaster as the material we would not dry fast enough. He further stated that for him to go get that plaster would count against our hours. My wife said she was confused and what was the point of selling this service if it something as simple as repairing a small crack could not be done in time. He said it was not a problem and she could call Angie's List for a refund. I later received an e-mail from the owner stating we were not entitled to a refund. I thoroughly question a company's integrity when they are more worried about not granting a refund rather than meeting their customers needs. Furthermore, I would suggest this company clearly state what they can and can't do vs. burying it in the fine print. It appears this Big Deal is merely a vehicle to get them business which will require more hours than the deal allows. Additionally, would recommend that when scheduling, the business asks specifically what needs to be done and advises what they can and can't do at that time.

Description of Work: This company did drywall repair for me, in my kitchen. They had to use plaster to fill in holes and cracks and tears in my drywall. By nature this is a messy job as it leaves a lot of dust from sanding after the plaster has dried. However, they did a good job and it was ready for painting after a little cleanup.

Description of Work: We purchased an Angie's List deal. They came to the house as scheduled and said they would give us an estimate for the additional cost to do the work. We never heard back from them, and they did no work for us, in spite of the fact that we prepaid for their services.

Description of Work: Rafael painted two rooms and repaired some drywall in one of the rooms. He did an excellent job with the painting and drywall repair and he was very professional. We are currently contracting with him to do some external painting as well. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Rafael painted a full bathroom for us. He had to repair some rough places in the sheet rock on the ceiling, and then paint it and the walls and all the trim.

Description of Work: He's done several jobs for my husband and I. He came here and painted our bedroom upstairs. It's pretty decent sized room. About the size of a normal-sized room, and another half of that. The ceilings are really weird--kind of an awkward space to paint.

Description of Work: It’s not a huge area, but we had some old boards on our deck. One of the hand rails were coming off. He came in and fixed those boards.
