 + -1 moreHis installation people were professional and easy to work with, and they worked hard to ensure I was happy with the installation. They came up a little short on the laminate slate in the laundry room, but Mr. Tilton worked hard to get it pretty quickly, apologizing profusely (anyone can make a small error like that, and he did not charge me for the additional tile he had to order) and the installers returned as soon as they got it. The floors are beautiful and I have had no problems with the installation or the materials. And, I love laminate floors, especially with pets!
Description of Work: I had carpet removed, and Shaw laminate slate tile floors in the great room, guest bath, laundry room and hallways, and Shaw laminate hardwoods in the master bedroom. Earlier, he had installed vinyl tile in my kitchen. Because I had pets and was worried about scratches on the laminate hardwoods, he suggested a lighter color than I would have selected, but he was right and I love them because they make the room look even more spacious! Because he is an older man who has owned his business for many years, his overhead is low and his prices were about half of what the flooring companies in Raleigh and Cary were quoting for the same job.
