Description of Work: Gutter cleaning was scheduled for Jan. 13, then rescheduled by the provider for the 15th. Provider did not show and has not contacted me since. I vmx'd him this morning, no response, and have emailed him. My credit card has been debited $85, work has not been performed. I am requesting a refund from Angies List.

Ms. [Member Name Removed], Unfortunately your service has been affected by adverse weather conditions. We spoke about this on January 15, when it rained much of the working day, and I let you know that we may be delayed for a week or two because of this weather. Last week we had sub-freezing temperatures all week, and an ice storm, that did not allow us to complete any gutter cleaning services. We were closed yesterday, when you called, because of the ice, and your email was sent at 7:45 pm last night. It is now 9am, and I am just receiving your correspondence. I made you aware that gutter cleaning services are weather dependent when you purchased the deal, and again when we scheduled. As I stated the last time we spoke, as soon as the weather allows it we will be rescheduling those services that have been affected. -Michael Hall

Really great service
Description of Work: Cleaned out gutters and cleaned windows (in and out) of my 6,000 sq. ft. home. They were great, right on time and did not leave any kind of trace that they'd been there. They did fail to do one 2nd story gutter and my husband said, "oh great, you'll never get them back to do that." But they came 2 days later and did it!

Description of Work: I signed up to have Oak City clean my gutters through an Angies List coupon. Despite being told I would be contacted by the company to schedule work I had to leave email messages and call them to make contact. When I finally got in touch with the owner he stated they do not serve our area even though they tell Angies List they service Orange County and Hillsborough. NO services performed.

We do not, and never have serviced Hillsborough. I told you as much when we spoke 2 days after you purchased the deal and after I had already emailed you. I am unsure as to why Angie's List provided you access to our deal, but that is not our fault. I have provided our service area to Angie's List, and it does not include this area. It says portions of Orange County, and the map clearly shows Hillsborough is NOT included. This is one of the reasons we suggest contact the service provider before you make a purchase. Leaving a negative review for us when the issue is clearly with Angie's List is unfortunate. -Michael Hall

You purchased a deal on June 24, and we responded the falling day requesting contact information and confirmation of your service address. It was clear in our message that we would not be able to schedule the service without this information. A few days later I sent another email out, and another a week after that. We have gotten no responses to any of our attempts to contact you. You have also never left a message with us if you actually ever did call. This is from 6 months ago, and I think you may remember this incorrectly. We simply need confirmation of the information requested and we would be happy to schedule your service. -Michael Hall
