Zerorez of Charlotte

Carpets or Rugs Clean at Home, Carpets or Rugs Clean Offsite, Upholstery and Furniture Cleaning Service,

About us

Zerorez is pleased to offer its state-of-the-art, revolutionary and patented carpet cleaning system. This unique carpet cleaning system produces superior results, making it an excellent choice for soiled carpets. Traditional steam carpet cleaning injects chemicals, soaps, and detergent mixed with unheated water into your carpet. This soaks your carpets, pads and backing. Afterward, a considerable amount of the mixture resides in your carpet. Carpet fibers become laced with detergent, compelling dirt and other substances to stick. These common practices do not serve the purpose you might have had in mind. The Zerorez carpet cleaning system does not use soaps, harsh detergents, or shampoos to clean. Instead, it uses a revolutionary, non-toxic, and water-based carpet cleaning agent called “Powered Water”, which cleans better than soap without leaving a sticky chemical residue behind.

The smell stayed in for at least 3 to 4 days.

The first round was a disaster. Had one bedroom and a hallway done, and despite spending a considerable amount extra for 'pet extraction' treatment, the stains did not come out. The bigger issue was that despite claiming to have 'zero residue', there was white powdery residue on the carpet in the upstairs hallway, all over the banister, the steps, and even the floor of the landing below. Despite repeated attempts to explain to me what that residue was, I never got a reply. I contacted them via email and requested an explanation, and never received one. I told them I was out of town and would schedule for them to come back when I returned home, but I wanted a reply, via email, as to what the residue was. Never heard a peep other than repeated call to try to schedule a recleaning, and I had told them not to call me while I was out of town. Upon my return, I scheduled a return visit, and they did a slightly better job, although some of the stains remain. At least they did not leave white powdery stuff all over the place like the first time. They still could not explain to me how a company that claims 'zero residue' left so much of it.

Quality was ok, except when I got back a rug that they took away to clean, there was a hole in it. The manager told me that I was told there was a hole in the rug when they took it to clean it. (the hole was under a bed). I lodged a complaint, it took two weeks to get a voice mail back, I called and left a message, and never heard back. Finally got the manager back several weeks later. I don't want a full refund, just some restitution. I was supposed to be contacted by a customer relations person. That was a month and a half ago. My area rugs were cleaned four months ago. Price charged is outrageous for service received. (I worked my way through college cleaning carpet - there is no reason to double charge for cleaning wool. You just use cool water and lower the pressure.)

Not so good. I love the product and the way they clean but their billing procedures and practices are way off base. Zerorez rescheduling us, giving us a "credit" then applying an additional cost to other room. I paid double than what was quoted on the phone. I do not like being treated that way and will NOT use them again. Just being honest.

Excellent....had it done a few months ago, and the carpets still look good. I thought I would have to replace one, but they did such a good job, I don't have to!

They did an excellent job, no problems. It was about $150. They were “A+” all the way down the line. It was just one person. It took about 2 hours. The worker was excellent.

Carpet cleaning was great. Pet stain cleaning abysmal. I paid extra for pet stain cleaning on rug and tech just said it won't clean. I asked about all of this up front. Scheduling person was great but I feel I was duped. $650+ and I have the same stains I could have cleaned myself with carpet cleaner.

The cost was a lot more than what they told us originally. We were told that it was going to be $79 every two rooms. It turned out to be $500 total instead of $300 we were expecting. We had to call them out the second time because they didn't do it right the first time. It would have been nice if they checked it over before they left. They should have been more upfront with their charges. Once we had it redone, it was good.

I received a call from Elizabeth (customer service) after 8 am that the tech was running late and would be here at 9;30 am. At 9:30 he called to say he was about 15 mins away. He showed up about 5 mins til 10. He said they had some internal problems and apologized and I showed him the rooms. He proceeded to bring in his equipment and started work around 10:05. I ran an errand and was back at 10:23...he had already completed all the rooms and was finishing the den... in about 20 mins. My last times that I used Zerorex it took over and hour for a tech to complete three rooms, let alone a fourth. I asked about the quick time and he responded that he had been doing this for quite some time and was very good at his job. I watched him work and felt he was simply working at a rapid pace, not necessarily thoroughl. That night I would find out I was right.
While he worked I called Zerorez and expressed my concern over how quickly he had completed the work, and Elizabeth agreed that he should not have been done nearly that fast and said she would call him after we got off the phone and tell him to go over all the rooms again to make certain he got them completely. I said it didn't seem possible to get the tile jobs done now since I had to leave for work no later than 11.30. She asked me what I thought she should do for me, and I said there should be some discount for the lousy service and inconvenience since I had moved almost all the furniture in all the rooms for this job.
She said she would knock the price from $228 to $188...basically a 20% discount. I said I was still not happy about all of it.
I went back inside and he had completed the tile in my bathroom, and began working on the kitchen. At 11:10 he was finished and prepared to put up his equipment. I asked him about going over the work again (now wondering if she had even told him) and he agreed he would and proceeded to re suction the master bedroom...that was it! By this point I had to leave to go to work. When I came home in the evening I found places in the den where there were dirty streaks, and a ribbon that looked like it had been bleached.
I t was obvious from the start this was nothing more than a rush job to compensate for starting so late, and I would be the victim. The 20% off was a trifle for them, and a token effort to apologize for the inconvenience. I called Elizabeth back a third time before he was finished and explained my concern and asked her if this was her bottom line price...she said yes.
I have used this company twice a year for years when they have been in and out of Charlotte, BUT THE LAST THREE TIMES THEY HAVE ARRIVED AT THE LAST FEW MINUTES OF THEIR WINDOW! Never on time!!! This company used to be a great company since the product does a good job of cleaning, but the customer service and quality of work has suffered greatly!! I had left messages for Elizabeth ( customer service person) during the day and did not receive a returned call.
