 + -1 moreTravis came to my home soon after I called him. My hard drive on my computer that I use for my accounting business had failed. He was aware that I needed to recover quickly. With very little direction from me, he installed the new hard drive, reinstalled my programs and configured them to my preferences, retrieved some of the data from the broken hard drive and some data from backup CD's. I was back in business in a few hours. Going forward, he set up an automatic backup system for my data.
Description of Work: Travis installed a new hard drive on my computer. He reinstalled the operating system and all the programs. He backed up all my data and reinstalled it on the new hard drive. He set up a wireless network in my home office. He advised me on the purchase of an external hard drive and a system to keep my data backed up. He has been very helpful by answering, from time to time, brief computer-related questions by phone. He also helped me to decipher a complicated problem I was having on an old software program created and used by a large community organization for which I was the volunteer treasurer. (Several "experts" had tried to solve the problem prior to Travis.) There has never been a problem with my computer or network that Travis has not been able to solve quickly.
