TNT DECORATING

This company came highly recommended and had done several jobs in the neighborhood. I was a little nervous when I saw the other report, but the price for what would be done, the commendation, and lack of other reports made me move forward. The quote was to have rotted wood replaced, the home painted and caulked, and pressure washed before painting. The gentlemen who came to paint and repair were courteous, but left a mess for me to sweep up- just like in the other report. Also, I had to show the owner the quote to have a few things done that were promised. After the house was painted, I was initially happy. I then noticed paint starting to chip. I walked around the house and noticed that there were places that weren't caulked, as promised in the quote. I have recently found a piece of wood that is rotted and that someone else will have to fix.

Martin was very easy to get in touch with and came very highly recommended from neighbors, except one. I should have listened to the one. A 2-3 day job took 3 weeks, for a week I was promised every day that he would absolutely be done that day, and then came home and nothing had been done. The jobs were not done right the first time, they had to keep coming back and fixing things, and doing things they had forgotten about. To their credit, they did come back and make things right. They did not clean up after themselves unless I said something about it. I paid him in full, when he just had a few small things left to do and promised me he would be totally done, and today, 2 days later, the job is still not complete. I am waiting on a carpenter to come and fix the new door he installed so that it will actually close, and install doorknobs that should have already been done. I don't know if my job was too small to put too much effort into, I got the feeling he was working me in around other jobs or if this is the normal way of doing things but I will not use them again. For that much money I want to feel like someone is putting a priority on my job and making sure it is done right the first time.
