+ 0 moreSue and her husband have been cleaning our home now every three weeks since the spring. We have been so happy with their services. They are sweet people who are professional and reliable. Sue always texts me a couple days before to remind me that she's coming. They always do a great job and are very detailed with their cleaning. I always find something a little extra that they've done that I didn't expect! I know they are comfortable with animals too as I have a cat and dog in the home when they are working. I'm always very pleased with how beautiful and clean our home looks after each time they come! I could never clean it that well on my own!
Description of Work: Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean bathrooms and kitchen, take out trash, change linens and make beds, etc.

They do a great job everytime and lot of times, there's something a little extra that I didn't expect them to do but they'll go ahead and do for us.
Description of Work: Sue's Cleaner come every 3 weeks to clean our home. They do our entire house. They do dusting, vacuuming, wiping down counters, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, changing the trash.

+ -1 moreThis is a family business performed by a husband and wife team, which is highly attractive to me and met my criteria to know who is coming every time. Sue made and kept the apptmt to quote an estimate, reasonable in my opinion, and established a servicing schedule with us. I was pleasantly surprised to see they were not daunted by the dirt brought in every week by the dogs (dogs are crated on cleaning days), and equally pleased with their enthusiasm for the job! They've been servicing our home for 6 months now and I'd love that to continue - they notify me by text the night before, have been on time every single time, are thorough in their work and happily (!) do something extra every visit. They handle this very professionally from pre-day notice, to scope and quality of work, to weekly check deposits. Its a bonus that they seem happy to do the work, which was also important to me. Its a well-organized small business, I'm impressed, and couldn't be happier.
Description of Work: Complete cleaning of specified rooms in the home - kitchen, family room, entrance & halls, 3 baths, 2 bedrooms. We have our dogs and some foster dogs, in my opinion that presents an additional challenge to any cleaning service.

+ -1 moreI called Sue to request a deep cleaning and we arranged a cleaning date and time as well as a time for a quote which she insisted on having. She asked that I text her my address so I did as well as confirm the appointment date and time. She never showed for the quote nor did she respond to my follow up to ask if she was still planning on coming. Cleaning date/time came and went and still nothing from Sue. I find this behavior to be very unprofessional! This was a complete disrespect of my time.

+ -1 moreI felt decieved that I was quoted one price , then I was told it would be almost double that amount money, note they came the week before to look at the house so they could give me an estimate, what changed in a weeks time that caused them to double the price? I felt they rushed through the home not doing a very thorough cleaning and being very rude about the dust . I believe I hired cleaning people to clean . If my house had been clean I would not need cleaning people.... Also, they were unreliable,they were late to the estimate and then late again to the actual appointment. Although Sue seemed like a very nice ,sweet person their professionalism is lacking and I am disappointed . I would not recomend them.
Description of Work: Sue came to give me an estimate and showed up over an hour late. She was quite pleasant at the time and gave me an estimate of $140.00 to clean my house excluding the 3 bedrooms upstairs and playroom. All that she was expected to clean was downstairs and vaccum upstairs and clean two upstairs bathrooms. Sue and her husband showed up a week or so later to clean,they were over an hour late again.. The first thing they said to me was that since it was their first time cleaning my house that they would need to charge me a "bit more" because it would take more time (they never mentioned this when the gave the original estimate). I reluctantly agreed to a "bit more"but no price was discussed. I had given Sue pledge to clean and polish my wood furniture in my bedroom. After approximately 10 minutes I walked in and she was finished cleaning my bedroom.My bedroom is 20 by 20 and has a great amount of wood and pictures and items that need to dusted. Needless to say she did a very rushed job. Her husband was in charge of my bathrooms. After cleaning the master bath he was worn out. When I went to feel the inside of the bathtub it still had all cleaning chemicals in it. It was not rinsed out correctly. They rushed through the rest of the house. Sue's husband was extremely rude with his comments that my house was such a challenge to him.He stated that he was use to cleaning multi-million dollar homes that were larger than mine but due to some dust build up it was a great challenge to him. He was also rushing to get out because they were late to another job. They "forgot to clean" several items in the house including mirrors , stairwell, some countertops .... Sue and her husband wanted to charge me $260,which was twice the amount of the original quote and much more than "a bit more". I said no. They ended up asking for $220, though I was not very happy paying this amount but felt I had little choice.

+ -1 moreI called, and Sue came to give me an estimate for a deep cleaning the next day. She is very professional pleasant, and caring. I have been spending way too much time at work, and my house has suffered. I was expecting family for a three week stay within the week, and desperately needed help with getting my house ready. Sue gave me a resonable estimate, showed up on time as expected, and did a wonderful job. I was extremely impressed with the thorough job and pleased with the respect and care that Sue puts into her work. I called Sue because of the good reviews on Angie's List, and she surpassed my expectations in every area. Now that my family has left -- we had a good time, but the house needs another good cleaning -- I will be calling Sue to arrange a regular cleaning schedule next week. I really cannot express how fortunate I feel to have Sue cleaning my house.
Description of Work: Sue and her husband cleaned my dirty house from top to bottom. They did a BEAUTIFUL job. After they left, I just walked all around my house -- saying "WOW!". I have lived in 7 states and had many housecleaners over the last 38 years. Sue is the best ever, hands down!

Not only did she clean, but she also made VERY minor adjustments to a couple of things I had placed (i.e. vases, candles), I could have just put them back, but I LOVED where SHE put them...LOL!! Sue is very personable and easy to speak with and she goes out of her way to satisfy the customer. I will definitely be using Sue regularly, and I highly recommend her services.

+ -1 moreWe have used a couple of different cleaning services over the past few years, one of which did a nice job, but the use of different subs wasn't to my liking, and led to some inconsistent work. I called Sue mainly because she has had excellent reports here on Angie's List, and she is the person I speak to, as well as the person who performs the cleaning (along with her husband). We have been using her for about 2 months now and I can say that she does a better job in less time than any other person or service we have tried. Sue has been very thorough in her cleaning and will change our bed linens if I ask. She and her husband are very nice and personable, and they take their cleaning business very seriously. I highly recommend Sue.

+ -1 moreI found Sue to be a remarkable individual with a talent for and a love of cleaning. It is important to her to get into the corners, touch every surface and leave a satisfied customer. She started upstairs and worked her way through the bathrooms, bedrooms and hall. She used the proper cleaning material for each surface whether it was carpet, tile, granite or laminate. She vacuumed every stair on her way to the first floor - including the corners, and then tackled the living room, dining room, laundry room, another bath and finally the kitchen. I'm an aggravating person sometimes, but Sue was very patient with my questions about the products and she made recommendations that I have followed since her visit. Besides being such a whiz at the job, Sue is also very personable. I will definitely use her services again.

Though my last cleaner was very good and had good Angie's List ratings(including one from me), Sue is a step above. Sue cleans with a different energy level plus she consistently does little extras versus leaving a little early(she's cleaned the cabinet under the kitchen sink, she did a detailed cleaning on our laundry room). She has been very open to any requests or suggestions we have made and has sought that feedback. An awesome service provider.
