They did a very good job. They mow even up to the edge of my yard. They cleaned up after themselves. Price was reasonable. I've been hiring them for 20 years now.

Initially our meeting went well and a quote was provide via email.  Ryan provide a quote for monthly lawn service and for the lawn upkeep.  It first took awhile to get him to commit to applying the sod because this was my first priority.  He expressed that billing would be done monthly and no payment would be required before then.  However, this is where things went wrong.  He expressed that he usually does all his work.  However, when he or whomever laid the sod, they were missing several areas. So I took pictures and sent to him via a text message.  Who ever applied the sod, also add sod to my neighbors area.  I told him I was not paying to apply to my neighbors yard.  Therefore, he stated he would correct this situation.  I asked him to give me a quote on adding several pieces of sod to the other side of my home also.  This was never done.  However, when his employees came to my home I expressed what my interest were and the work was complete.  Ryan became upset because he had to purchase a few additional pieces of sod that should have been apart of the quote.  I have pictures of his before and after during the job.  Ryan stated he would give me a quote on basic landscaping and suggested he would remove a few plants for free and that I should return them to Lowes for a refund since I purchased them within 1 year.  Hopefully they will give me a credit.  This piece of information was great.  However, I later found out that Ryan was upset that he removed the plants for free and took his nasty emails as offensive after he requested the money for service within 5 days and not the monthly billing as he suggested earlier.  I did not have a problem paying for the service so when he came by I just gave him a check.
When additional services were done later like fertilizer, and fungicide to lawn along with mulch.  After not hearing from him several weeks.  I decided to send a check for $505 based on the services provided.  Only to receive an email that he would no longer do service at my home.  It appears he was upset about the sod that he had to apply and removing the plants that he suggested he would do!!  This was all in hope that he would get all of my business for lawn care $140 month, Lawn maintenance between $75-105 month.  Besides any landscaping jobs he was going to perform.  He did not want to return to complete adjusting sprinkler nozzle that was done during winterization service.  Thus after I forwarded him the money.  I decided it was best to cut ties and not use his services again and go with a reputable company for now on!!!
I also express to Ryan that I have all his emails to back up what I am saying on this review.  So if you are interested in lawn care service, find someone who has several employees and willing to do the work timely.  Also someone who will read there emails carefully to understand what the client is asking for before responding concerns.

I asked for weekly mowing and we agreed on the day of the week and amount. He came once and never showed up again. After repeatedly calling/texting and never hearing back, I gave up. The mowing job was only average at best - I have a small yard and they spent maybe 15 minutes here. Didn't pick up leaves or blow them out of the yard. Their edging in the front was good, though. I had also asked for an estimate for mulch and wanted to see if they could get rubber mulch, additionally asked for a price on weekly landscape maintenance. Never got an estimate for the rubber mulch and didn't get a chance to discuss maintenance. Only redeeming feature is they didn't charge me for the one mowing they did perform. I found their ad in our church bulletin and had a nice initial conversation with Ryan. I just don't get it. I need their services, agree on their terms and then they don't show up or call. Would never last in the corporate world. Very disappointed that I didn't get a call explaining why they weren't showing up.

I am very pleased with Ryan's Lawn Service.I have used them for years for weekly lawn service, shrub trimming, aeration, seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and minor tree work. Ryan, the owner, has always worked to make sure his company gets done what is promised. He is always fair on his prices. I will continue to use this company in the future.

We asked Ryan to put up and take down our Christmas wreath, as he had done last year. He put it up, but after the holidays,  never returned to take it down, despite repeated phone calls. We had to locate someone else to take it down.
Ryan would at times, act unprofessional and appeared to be just going through the motions of his work.

He is great, and he charges $35 a cut. He seems very knowledgeable and does a good job. He is punctual, and he knows the questions I have for my lawn. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future.

After using 2 different landscape services over the past 6 years, I was searching for a company that would do the work they said they would perform on a weekly basis to maintain my yard, and to provide maintenance (weed control, leaves, mulching, etc.) when needed. And I wanted this at a fair price. A neighbor told me about Ryan's Lawn Service and after changing to his company a few months ago, I am blown away by his work (in a good way!). He does EXACTLY what he says he will do, notifies me when there is a change or additional work to be done (as I asked him to do), and does a wonderful job for me. I can talk to him about concerns and expectations, and he listens. Ryan operates with honesty, integrity and humor, and I recommend him without hesitation!
