+ -1 moreBob Gordan is an excellent general contractor. He is detail oriented and stays on top of the job and people working it. He was not the lowest bid for this work, but well worth every cent. He is an excellent example of "you get what you pay for". At all times he stressed quality and client satisfaction. I would recommend him for any job.
Description of Work: A 2 story addition to our house. Approx 864 sq ft addition with full basement. Included great room, office full bath and powder room. Included hvac, power, hardwood floors, large picture windows, etc.

+ 7 moreI would rate the overall job and effort by Robert Gordan as excellent. He is very attentive and responsive. I had never done a project of this size and was somewhat nervous about many aspects of it. Bob was patient in guiding us through the elements of the process. The people he used to do the work seemed professional. Bob was the most expensive quote we received, but given the importance of this type project to us, felt it worth going with quality versus cutting corners on cost. The result confirms our decision.
Description of Work: We used Robert Gordan as the contractor to add an 864 sq ft addition on our house. This also had a basement under it. The addition included a great room w/cathedral ceiling, office, full bath and a powder room. The addition included hardwood floors, granite & tile work in baths, and large windows in the cathedral ceiling great room. This addition also included a separate HVAC system.

+ 3 moreHe has been excellent both times. I know when I call him that things will get done and we can trust him. He is very ethical. I think the cost is within reason. You do not have to hassle with the subs. It was done in a timely manner.
Description of Work: He completely redid our basement, including floors. It was a major job. A few years ago he also refinished a bathroom and kitchen, which included some extensive painting and fix and repainted an outside porch.
