Description of Work: I needed the existing floor and subfloor removed in my front bathroom. They re-installed new subfloor and tiled. I've used them for several tasks at my house and they always do things right. This job was no exception. You might be able to get it done more cheaply, but not better. If something does not turn out as you expected, they're always open to adjusting the outcome to suit you.

Description of Work: Paul has been to my house several times for a variety of handyman services including installation of wall-mounted TVs, plaster repair, crown molding installation, light fixture installation/repair, trimming, etc. He's also prompt and easy to work with. He doesn't require a whole lot of direction either in order to get things done (sometimes I don't know the best approach, I just know how I want it to look when it's done!)

Description of Work: Previously, Paul Quick did two jobs for us, replacing a dryer vent hose and outside vent and removing an ice dam from the roof. We were pleased with the service and charge for both jobs. Because of those good experiences, I called him when we needed repair work on an outside storage building. His son Kevin looked at the project and Paul Quick e-mailed a proposal a few days later; I accepted the proposal and he promised to call within the week to schedule the work. That's where the problems started: when the week came and went, I contacted him to ask when he would start our repair work. He promised to look at his schedule within a few days and contact me about a start date. That deadline came and went as well. I contacted him again and got a similar promise on which he also reneged. Finally, I e-mailed him and canceled the job, saying I would hire someone else to do the repair work. He did not respond to the cancellation e-mail. I was surprised at his evasiveness because he had been prompt in doing repairs the two other times I called. However, I won't use Paul Quick, Inc., again because of his lack of professionalism and responsiveness in this instance. If our job was too small ($900) or he just couldn't fit us in, I would have preferred honesty; instead, he lost a customer.
