It was mostly good.  They were three of them, the hourly charge that included the three men and a big truck was very reasonable.  Those guys were amazing, they worked hard and they took reasonably good care of our stuff.  My only complaint would be, we have several wicker pieces and some of the wicker got damaged a little bit but other than that, it was perfect.  They were great.  They don’t charge extra for gas or anything, so we paid them one hour for the truck which I think was $130 an hour; I don’t remember.  On that day, it took about eight hours to move all that stuff and all the things back and forth, so they get an A plus!  On top of that, there was a lot of bad weather going on, it was unpredictable, so I had to change the date of the move, twice and they were very, very accommodating.  Those guys really worked hard to get us moved that Monday.  The lady in the office was excellent.  She was just nice.  I had a good conversation with her because she knew my next-door neighbor at the town house, they were all friends and that made for a good conversation with her.  I would use them again and I would recommend them.  They moved two houses that were full of furniture, that had steep stairs and one of the guys, as we watched carried an eight foot couch over his head, held it and trekked across our whole front yard, all by himself.  I wish I had a picture.  He must eat a lot of spinach!  I would call them again in a heartbeat.  There were some things they couldn’t do, like we had some things in the attic and they were very polite about saying no, because they said that insurance regulations did not allow them to go up to an attic, because of the danger of falling through.  We were okay with that.  I appreciate them thinking about the regulations and being honest.  I thought that said a lot about their integrity.  They were very polite, very professional and very cordial with each other.  They did not mess around; those guys worked.  The whole experience was great.

Leonard was awesome....he was here alone, and with a full plate of jobs on his schedule, including one that was squeezed in at the last minute and he never made me feel rushed or did anything sloppy or halfway.  very friendly, considerate and hard worker!

When our elderly parent's health caused an abrupt move to a nursing facility, we were faced with an entire two bedroom home to take care of. The decision was to rent the home and store the contents in the hope of returned health. We used Angie's List to find our movers and were glad we did.  They did a fabulous job packing household goods and protecting furniture and breakables, then moved all into a storage facility.  They were professional and organized, and exactly what we hoped for.  If we are able to return Dad to his home in the future, all of his belongings will be easily returned undamaged from storage. The moving team of two worked efficiently but carefully to pack and ready all for storage, then unloaded and organized the contents into the storage unit in the same competent, efficient manner. We would definitely use these guys again.

I saw A1 Clean Up and Movers Inc listing on Angie's list and contacted them.  Even though their primary business is Moving, they do some hauling.  Jeff just happened to be working in my area (Lake Wylie) when I called and was able to remove my burned down riding lawn mower the same day I called.  I wish I'd know they were movers- and will keep their contact information handy for my next move.

Everything went very smoothly from estimate to execution. Lowest price we found, but excellent service.

Company called to say they would be a little late since the new receptionist made an error in scheduling before the work day began. They arrived on time after this correction. The young man was very personable and professional. In 15 minutes, he loaded all of the items we identified and was ready to go. I asked him to estimate some additional work that we would need to have done and he was very obliging. We were very pleased.

Overall, I was pleased. The timeliness of the first drop-off was a little late. I was told I would have something by around noon, however it didn't show until 7 PM. The next day however the full dumpster was hauled off and a replacement was there before 5 PM.

I was quoted $300 for the dumpster after giving all the information on the project. They stated a 16 cubic foot skid would be plenty for the job. The job took 46 cubic feet of space. They added an extra weight charge three times, when only one skid had the shingles to take the unit over weight. They were not helpful in working with the price. The final bill for the service was $975, versus the $300 originally quoted. I would strongly suggest everyone research the alternatives to this company.

They delivered on Friday. The first dumpster was filled by Monday at noon. I called Mon morning and requested a rehaul. They only charged less for the second haul because we only had yard waste (no construction). They did the second haul with very short notice. Each time before arrival, they called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were coming, so I could meet them. They are a smaller dumpster service (I think most of their business is moving), so they only had 20 yard dumpsters (no 30 or 40's), but for smaller work, I'd recommend looking at them.
