Homewatch is a blessing to my family. For nearly three years, they've been taking care of my Mom who has Parkinson's and dementia. When Homewatch is on duty, we can work, rest, or leave the house—confident that Mom is safe and cared for. Homewatch caregivers provide more than 70 hours a week of help for my Mom, so we've had a lot of time to watch how they work. Their caregivers are both skilled and loving, which is a combination my Mom really needs. Their office staff are professional and collaborative. Dad and I always feel like we're on a team, working together for the solutions that are best for Mom and for all of us. We know we can count on Homewatch management for effort, openness, and collaboration to meet Mom's ever-changing challenges. We know that one big challenge in eldercare is finding caregivers who are a good fit for the client's personality -- especially when the client has dementia. It's also a challenge because turnover in the caregiver population can be very high. Homewatch has been committed to sending us caregivers who look like a good fit, and to changing caregivers if the fit doesn't work as hoped for. We value Homewatch's flexibility and their low-ego, "what can we do to help?" willingness to take care of our needs, and to work with me and my Dad as collaborative partners for my Mom's health and happiness. Everyone we were in contact with, from the director, to the nurse administrator, to the front office staff and most importantly, the caregivers, were outstanding. Genuinely caring, warm and competent. We had briefly used another large company providing similar services and Homewatch was clearly a large cut above. I heartily recommend them to anyone in needing this service.

When the time comes to choose a home healthcare agency, it is a very daunting task to find one that will meet your loved one?s specific needs. Faced with an array of choices and challenging decisions, fear and worry can be all consuming.
After research and recommendations we chose HomeWatchCaregivers and am so happy we did.
Their kindness, compassion and a true personal interest in both the patient and family member(s) made all the difference.
The initial home assessment from their RN was outstanding, her judgment showed an exceptional level of attention to detail. Their office staff is top notch; professional and easy to work with, and were always accessible.
The caliber of Caregivers was exemplary. Their experience and longevity made it easier to leave the house, knowing that my husband was safe and secure with someone I can trust. The quality of their care as well as their total commitment to caring earns my highest praise.
I can count on HomeWatch Caregivers because we have created a friendship that will last long after the caregiving has ended. Their emotional support as well as mutual respect led to a wonderful relationship.
I know I can count on them when the time comes to call again.

We were extremely pleased with the support and care of the people we contacted, and who came out to provide assistance. Everyone was so kind, compassionate, and experienced in providing the help we needed. This included the office management staff who took our calls and guided us through the help we needed, and each of the caregivers who helped us. We could not be more pleased, even though the ultimate outcome was the death of an older parent. These were great people and showed care and skill in their work with us and our loved ones. We are considering using them going forward with other needs that are becoming evident.

Don't really understand what you mean. The personnel are very complete in their efforts to match the caregiver with the person to be cared for, including interviews and home visits. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caregiver for a dementia patient.

We have a week-end only person who works a split shift. They have been able to send the same person so far who is prompt, knowledgeable, kind and very conscientous about her job. We had coverage for a weekend and didn't need her that weekend and it was as simple as a phone call to cancel that weekend and to resume the next. We just couldn't be happier.

The people were very nice. There were two different helpers. They allowed our mom to get out and do things that she wanted to do. We don’t know whether they had any turn over issue or not but they switched us one to another but they were both nice. They have a minimum of four hours and our mom preferred for a shorter time. We didn’t use them for past two weeks as our mom wanted shorter hours.

My husband was placed under hospice care after fighting a malignant brain tumor. I was referred to Homewatch and hired them to provide a nursing assistant for him. The office staff were very responsive and came to the house to assess our needs (care and scheduling). They quickly matched us up with an employee who started shortly thereafter. At first we had her for a 4-hour period, but as his needs increased, we eventually went to 24x7 care. They worked with us for about a month before he died. The office staff was great at making sure I was kept aware of who was coming and when. They made sure I could always get in touch with them if I needed to. They sent a supervisor to the home to check up and make sure everything was going well.T hey are a great family-run business!
The primary nursing assistant we had was just wonderful with my husband. She was kind and repsectful and worked hard. She even stayed over the night of a snow storm to make sure I'd have someone available the next day, in case the person on the schedule couldn't get to the house because of the snow. At the time my husband died, there were actually 2 Homewatch staff here with me, and they were incredibly compassionate and helpful at helping me deal with the logistics. I couldn't have asked for better care!

I thought the service was good, but I was not happy with the way the company paid their employees. The actual house cleaners would only get about half of what I was paying. I have chosen to go with a smaller cleaning service where the workers get paid more appropriately.
