I never received a response or call back after that. You also stated in your message to us that you wanted to complete this work in December. Angie's list is important for all customers as it acts as a real and true representation of customers experiences. However when there are details omitted from the reviews it can paint an image that is not accurate. Typically our response time is under 24 hours to any email or phone call and estimates are giving within 2 business days. Again as I have said before I apologize for our family emergency. I am so sorry that you are not happy. As you stated in your review we did have a family emergency that required rescheduling your initial appointment. I understand that this unfortunately was unpleasant as was for several of our Angie's List customers. We are working hard to make amends to all our Angie's List customers that needed to reschedule for that. Our decision to move in a different direction was made when accusations and language used lead our working relationship to a halt. We stand by our customers and try in every way possible to provide quality customer service, superb workmanship and ask for feedback so that we may grow and learn for the future. When the deal was purchased we responded immediately, no more than 1 hour after your purchase, thanking you for your business. At the time we did not have access to your address and were unaware that you were not only out of our service area but of significant distance beyond our service area as well. As stated in the Angie's list deal we service Wake County and offered this deal to the residence of Wake County. While we strive to please we cannot meet all requests. We did speak about our service areas and also attempted to still honor this purchase by going the extra distance to an area that we do not service in order to keep you as a customer for life. There are times when a company is confronted with a tough decision to make a call that may not be a pleasant one but still the best for both parties concerned. We feel it was the best call for both of us to move forward and have Angie's List offer a refund as we could not honor this deal in the timeframe acceptable to your schedule.
