Jeff, a mechanic, was outstanding. He was professional, courteous, and empathetic when I went in to pay for the diagnosis. In addition, when I had AAA go to tow the vehicle back to my house, Jeff agreed to sign for its release and was a great help to me.
I no longer have this vehicle, but I won't hesitate to have my Lexus serviced at My Mechanic if and when it needs care. Chad, the owner, clearly knows his stuff. Jeff is both very personable and a solid mechanic.
work on the car for about an hour, he could not pinpoint the exact cause of
the vibration.
He told me since he couldn?t determine the cause of the
vibration, he certainly couldn?t fix it, and there would be no charge for the
diagnostic work.
It?s really refreshing to come across a mechanic so ethical
and honest.
Chad is both. He never tries to convince me to get a service I don't need. I trust him completely. I first went to him when a mechanic whom I had used for a while told me I needed to have $1,300 in repairs done immediately, and that if I didn't get it done within 2-3 months, it would make things much worse.
I took my car to Chad. He looked at it, and said that I didn't need to have anything done. Approximately 6 months later, my car is running fine, and Chad saved me $1,300. I only make referrals to individuals whom I can say are the best at what they do. I tell all of my clients (I'm a realtor), friends, and family, that there is only one mechanic to take their cars to and that is My Mechanic. Do yourself, and your car, a favor, and go to My Mechanic. Once you do, you won't go anywhere else/
If you want to take your car to some fancy auto shop where they serve you gourmet coffee, and know the names of your children and pets, but also find all sorts of things that are "wrong" with your car, beyond what you knew needed repair, My Mechanic may not be for you.
However, if you want an auto shop where they really care about your car, where they don't try to get every last dollar from you for repairs you don't need, and where you know they will always treat you honestly. then don't go anywhere else but My Mechanic.
I always have felt that I was at the mercy of car repair shops, in that, when they said that something "needed to be fixed," I had to trust that they were being honest with me, and would agree to whatever repair they suggested. However, we all have had experiences where work which wasn't necessary, was recommended by car repair shops. I am so relieved to have found My Mechanic, because I know have a place to take my car to, with total and complete confidence.
I know I may sound like a cheerleader for My Mechanic, but that is how strongly I feel about the way they do business. Once you get your car worked on my My Mechanic, you won't go anywhere else. That is, unless you like being charged for work that wasn't necessary in the first place!!
He did the work the same day and I sold the car several days later happy in the knowledge that the car was in good condition for the new owner.
