Dickie's Drain Express is extremely efficient and responsive. I got through right away and was able to schedule an appointment in the near future. They told me right off that "the bad news" was that it would cost $188.95. The guys who showed up were polite and professional, and they put many feet of snake down the drain where the washer emptied. There was no "aha" moment when they thought they'd found the culprit, because the snake just chews things up as it goes down. When they finished the water from the washer was once again going down the drain instead of out onto the floor (which is good, because my washer is on the second floor). However, the next time I ran the washing machine for real, the water that ran down the drain was coming up through the bathtub drain, leaving a nice deposit of black sludgy stuff that was an unpleasant surprise the next morning when I went in to take a shower. I called Drain Express back, and was able to get them to come back soon. This time they went in through the bathtub drain, and apparently ran the snake down far enough to really eliminate the blockage. This second crew included a young man who was probably still learning a lot, but I had to point out when he was tracking mud in (on him or on the equipment). The crew who came the first time were very careful about that. Anyway, the price is on the high side, but I liked that I could get an appointment quickly, and that there was no problem getting them back to fix things when it turned out that the problem was not completely solved. They are quick and efficient (they get right to work), and they won't waste your time.

I felt the plumbing work itself was pretty good, but the price was quite high, with no price breakdown at all vis-a-vis labor versus materials expense. A heavy rain after the work was done resulted in a lot of soil collapse, on our property and in the gravel road. He repaired the road problem but left it to us to repair the damage to the property (at a cost to us of about $1,500). It's of course a judgment call whether I or the plumber should have been responsible for that fix, but given that our final tab ran well over the plumber's original price estimates, and given that I felt the ground-shifting could have been prevented with more attentive work when the grading was being done (by the company itself - not subcontracted), At the same time, to be fair, before the septic work, I hired him to fix a water problem in the house. He did an excellent job of ensuring we no longer had a flooding problem in our basement.

They provided good services! He was very helpful with my complicated sewer plumbing issues. I would use them again in the future.

The timeliness was exceptional. We contacted Drain Express at 7:30. By 9:00 they had scheduled an appt for us with one of their plumbers (Ken) for the 10-12 time frame. Ken arrived at 10:45 and was finished by 11:45. So there was less than five hours from first contact to job completed! The plumber was professional and courteous. And most importantly, he quickly solved the problem. I highly recommend the company.

They deal with blocked sewer lines. They are a local company. They even called before they came. I was very impressed. I have always been very pleased with the people anywhere from electricians to small appliance repairs that my plumbers have recommended. I was very pleased with Drain Express. I hope I don't have another sewer line blockage for at least another 150 years but if I do, I will call them again. They were fantastic.

The job was perfect and they did a very nice job. I was impressed when I got the appointment for the next day when I called, though it wasn?t an emergency. They were available and they showed up on time. They called to tell me that they were going to be late, but they were courteous. He was punctual, very pleasant and he did everything that you would expect a contractor to do. He was very sweet. The faucet is not leaking anymore. He gave me some advice on how to fix something. This was the second time we used them. The first time they fixed a toilet in 2007.

It always goes well with Dickie. He is worth every penny he charges. The guy is our hero. Funny, smart, a little wild with great stories, and extremely trustworthy. If he wanted to paint the logo of his business on the side of our house, I'd let him.

Although they claim to be a 24 hour service, I called on a Saturday and they couldn't send anyone until Monday. After repairing the water line, it was plugged so the plumber asked to borrow the short washer hose to use to blow out the line. He forgot to replace it and turned the water back on from the street. The water to the washer flooded the untility room and leaked through the floor to 2 downstairs bedrooms and a bathroom and left water stains on the ceiling, the walls, and ruined a rug. He didn't even tell me that this had happened. I paid him and he left. Afterwards, I saw in the washer room that my (good) towels were all over the floor soaked. I went downstairs and saw water dripping from the ceiling. I called the manager and he said he would come over. He refused to lower my bill (I paid $600 for 3 hours of work) and said he would send over someone for repairs. They replaced only a part of the pad under the rug and dried the rug with fans. The rug has been uneven every since because of 2 different pad depths. Then, when the sheetrock person came over I sent him away. I will never trust anyone that that this company sends to my house EVER again! I should have sued but don't have the energy for it.

We were going away for Christmas to the UK and had to have someone come out since we didn't have time to do it ourselves. Prompt and well done as far as we can tell, but another plumber quoted $300 after the fact, and we could do it ourselves in 2 hours with two people. He used to be our apartment complex's plumber, but no longer since he is too expensive.

Wonderful. Fit me into their busy schedule within a day for an estimate and came the next day to install the water heater. Even met me at 9:30 that night to finish up the electrical wiring so I didn't have to take any more cold showers!
