I have had a "dropper" line {a physical ethernet cord} from the nearest box roughly 1000' long laying on the ground for over a year now {15 months currently}. It crosses two gravel roads and (very rural area) is parallel to a farm field. It gets run over by vehicles on the roadway and also when farm tractors enter or exit the field, I try to guard against the line getting wrapped up in the muddy tires and wrapped around the axle of the tractor(s). I can't be here at all times AND work too though. I keep asking to have the line buried but have been told it could take as much as four (4) years to bury it while I am on the waiting list. In the mean time, when there are issues, it can take up to a week or better to get a service call to troubleshoot it. *I must say that the service tech is very courteous and polite and keeps submitting a work order for the line to get buried.* The other problem is, while the service is out, there is no credit given to the lost/down time. I had it out nearly three weeks out of four this last episode, yet still had to pay full price. The service tech had it repaired (again) on the second call this time. I am paying $54 a month for this service of a advertised ISP speed of 1.5mb. I still haven't resolved my issue from last year of being doubled billed and, when I notified them, was told not too worry about it {since I had moved recently} it would work itself out. Sure! I was sent to collections for a service I didn't recieve and at an address I wasn't living at. it also has caused my "bundled" bill to be kicked out of the program apparently, as I have stopped receiving the $5 "bundled" savings for the last year now. At this time, they are the only service provider available to me, so...currently, I am stuck with them.
Description of Work: Troubleshooted my "dropper" line. I got service reestablished on the second attempt/service call.
