We needed a lot of work done with our historic house and hired Duff Painting for our exterior trim, interior walls and ceilings. They did a fantastic job! We would definitely recommend them and will hire them again for any future projects.

We have been working with Mike Duff for many years through 2 homes and numerous projects. He and his crew are always on-time, professional and friendly. Mike's prices are very fair and his work is solid. He pays attention to details and always offers additional solutions, especially to challenges within our old home. Finally, he keeps his workspace clean and is respectful of the areas he works. I highly recommend Mike Duff and his crew for any painting project!

Michael and team did an excellent job scraping our popcorn ceilings and painting our bedrooms. The team was incredibly professional, courteous and prompt, particularly considering the restrictions created by the pandemic this year. I have already recommended their work to neighbors and friends.

Mike Duff has done lots of work for us in the past, so we knew this job would go well. In less than a morning, they replaced and painted some rotting wood on our back porch. As always, the job looks great, and his bill was almost embarrassingly low (we had the paint on hand). Mike and his guys are everything you want in a tradesman: high quality work, reasonable prices, and utterly dependable.

The talent and professionalism of the painters were beyond compare. I say professionalism because when they showed up I (embarrassingly) had not even chosen colors. With an eye to detail, the owner, Michael Duff helped me choose colors that met my wants as well as coordinated with my house. His thoughtful and patient conversation made me so happy with what was a huge source of stress for me (what colors would coordinate with my future tiling and fit with my other rooms, etc.). Their professionalism was also evident in the speed with which they completed the project, even though I added lots of things at the last minute. I was also grateful for their ability to fit me into their schedule earlier than I anticipated. I say talent because they actually painted gorgeous murals on two separate ceilings--not your average painting job! When the toddler requests the bedroom ceiling look like a sky with clouds, you have the hardest possible customer. Duff Painting Co satisfied the most obstinate and capricious client you could imagine, and they even far exceeded expectations. I'm so thrilled with their work, and admire it every day. I feel bad for anyone who doesn't choose Duff Painting Co!

They saw and repaired problems before I realized there were problems. Mike has painted pretty much every square inch of my house inside and out. I wouldn't ask anyone else. Highly recommended.

Mike and his crew did a great job, including thorough clean-up. Mike was patient and went out of his way to help us identify the right color match for brick on the front of our house. I really appreciated the timely communication from Mike and the fact that he was responsive to texts and e-mails. That is a rare quality these days.

All went well. Mike and his employee arrived on time. When I returned, the job was completely, perfectly, and the area clean. No problems at all. I would definitely use again.

We live in a 100 year old home and Mike Duff and his team did an incredible job dealing with all the headaches that go along with it. They are professional and courteous while working but also did a wonderful job!

We got two estimates and Duff was able to beat the other price by more than 10%. Signed a straight-forward short contract. Once selected, we were fit right into their schedule. Mike Duff helped with the paint selection. He obtained paint samples and applied it to our surfaces so we could select the colors/shades we liked the best. They only use high-quality paint. We selected 3 different shades of paint for the ceiling, wall, crown molding and windows. They did a nice job repairing some cracks. They did less scraping than we expected but the final result was excellent. The job took them an extra day but Mike kept us informed on the progress of the job at the end of each day so we knew what happened and what to expect. The contract price was kept the same. The interior painting work that included 15 French windows with 300 panes of glass required extreme attention to detail which they did. The paint had to cover an old dark color so several coats were necessary. The work site was maintained in a neat and tidy manner. No external mess was made, even when they washed their brushes in the basement. They came back to touch up some spots that were damaged by another contractor and were happy to touch up another couple of spots that needed it when the sun shined on the surface. They stand behind all their work. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Mr. Duff showed up with 2 work men and they got started right away. They accomplished what I had asked them to do in a timely manner, and even were able to address another ceiling issue that I added on last minute.

Mike is personable, professional, and the quality of work is high. Will continue to use them for projects I can’t do myself.

Duff Painting was amazing. They showed up on time with 3 guys. They stuck to their timeline. They were efficient and methodical. Mike Duff, the owner, was even helpful in guiding me to the right paint color. There is not even a hint of the door that they removed between two bedrooms. The repair is invisible! They were careful to lay drop cloths and cleaned up at the end of every day. They stuck to their estimate and the timeline. I couldn't be happier.

Projected completed efficiently. Mike is easy to work with. Results were good, including pre-job explanation of process and price, cabinet cleaning and scraping, color matching, clean up.

Mike was professional to work with. His bid was detailed, accurate and didn't have any surprise change orders in the end. He showed up when he said he would and more surprisingly, they finished the whole job in one day and didn't have to come back. Considering using his for a much larger project in the future. I would highly recommend Duff's painting!

Mike refinished our kitchen cabinets and they look even better than we expected. Mike was great to work with. He was very professional and addressed every concern we had. He showed up on time each day and worked efficiently to get the job done quickly. The quality of the work was excellent and the finish looks great! We are very happy with the new look of our kitchen and would definitely recommend Duff Painting to our friends and family.

Mike Duff and his painting crew were great. We could not be happier with the work he did, and the price was thousands of dollars below bids by bigger painting companies. We would absolutely hire him again.

Duff painting did a great job. Painted exterior of our house this summer. Was a big complicated job on a large 100 year old house - repairing and glazing windows, scraping and painting wood windows, fixing and painting aluminum siding, scraping and painting metal structures, a large ornate porch and awning structure. They really revived our house and made it look great. Their team was very professional and efficient. Came back twice to do touch ups. They also did some interior rooms for us - did a great job. They can do it all. Highly recommend.

Mike is in high demand, and I can see why. We had him come to our house to provide an estimate for repairing water damage and he was able to provide us with guidance about where the damage was coming from and how to get it fixed before he did his repairs. He worked quickly and efficiently, with minimal mess. He got the paints matched with no problem and the finished wall is good as new.

I hired Duff Painting Co after hearing great things about them from some folks in my neighborhood who had hired them in the past. I have had some major renovation work going on at my place for months now. When I hired Duff Painting, I was about done dealing with contractors. Mike Duffy, the owner was fantastic to work with. Right from providing the bid to finishing the job, everything was done in a timely and immaculate way. When I was looking into hiring them, there was a scheduling issue. But Mike accommodated my request. Mike and his crew were very pleasant to deal with. The day his crew was working I was busy running errands outside. I didn't have to keep an eye on them. Not sure you can get away with that while working with most contractors. I would hire Duff Painting for future work.

The job went very well. It started a little later than anticipated due to a previous job, but Mike kept me informed and once the job started their work day began early, and they put in full days of work for the four days it took to complete the room. The plaster walls were an absolute mess with cracks and holes after the wallpaper was removed and after a couple of skim coats, they are very smooth . You’d never know they were 110 years old. Mike is knowledgeable and professional but is also a very personable and likable guy, something I find very important if someone is going to be working in your home.

Mike and his team recently completed a refresh of our front facade and did a great job This is the fourth time we've hired Mike over many years - he's done interior and exterior work and always been very professional, helpful, responsive and performs quality work. We'll definitely use them again!
