Description of Work: The representative from American Dream Home is a storm chaser. He barreled up our street when I was outside with my kid, parked the car, and told me I had significant hail damage on my roof. My 8 months pregnant brain agreed to let him take a look in case there was something serious. He came down and insisted that we make a claim, call him to attend the inspection, then asked to speak to my husband when I told him I wasn't sure we'd be doing all of that, as if I weren't perceived with enough authority. He said I only had 6 months to make a claim for this storm damage that occurred in June. Not wanting to deal with him anymore while wrangling my toddler, and being creeped out overall I sent my husband out to talk with him. My husband explained that we would be in touch if we decided to move forward with a claim, thank you, yada yada. | |2 days later the same man and some other man arrive again and begin walking around the perimeter of our property without permission or speaking to us first. I once again go outside and tell him we haven't decided to do anything but would be in touch if we did. He said ok and left with the other man but then solicited a neighbor, with whom he committed insurance fraud (put money in the pocket of my neighbor in lieu of addressing his gutter damage). | |The 6 month expiration was a fabrication. Our insurance carrier said the statute of limitation for a claim was 2 years. This representative was using a fear tactic to prompt swift action and what I thought was praying on the vulnerability of a very pregnant woman. | |Avoid these people!

Description of Work: Helped us with an insurance claim on our roof, facia, and down spouts.
