We have everything you need for your kitchen & bathroom. We have plenty of options to choose from. Whether you want something traditional or something more modern, your space will never be the same again.
From the time I met with Nora until the date of installation, it was a great experience! Nora was kind and extremely professional. She explained everything thoroughly. I joked with her stating, I feel like I am purchasing a house with all this paperwork. It was a lot of paperwork, however, it is clearly for the protection of both the buyer and the seller. As the progression continued from the measurements, to the picking of the placement in the granite, and finally the installation, I received a courtesy call each time and they were accurate and prompt. On the day of installation Jay and Matt installed all three pieces flawlessly. I would highly recommend Granite Busters! My counters are gorgeous!

We used Granite Busters to replace our old laminate kitchen countertops with granite. From start to finish, we are very pleased with our new countertops and the service we received. Nora, our project manager, was outstanding to work with. In my years of home remodeling experience, she is one of the best people I have ever worked with. She is extremely knowledgeable, giving us ample information to allow us to make informed decisions, and she explained the entire process in such detail and so clearly that we had absolutely no "hiccups" during the entire process. Our installers, Ryan and Ray, also did an amazing job. They were very respectful of us and our home and did such a nice job cleaning up that it was like they were never here, except for the great looking countertops they installed! We also appreciated their asking questions during the installation process to make sure the install went well and they did an outstanding job teaching us how to take care of and use our new countertops. We would without hesitation recommend using Granite Busters!

Good. Very helpful (and patient!) with the granite slab selection. Answered my questions and explained the process. Checked with me before final installation to be sure they understood how I wanted a particular corner finished. I had asked to see the final layout on the slab before they did the sink cut and polishing, but forgot to contact me and completed the cut and polishing. But the final product was great and the new countertops look fantastic!

For some reason I didn't check Angie's List first, and things went wrong every step of the way. If I had read the reviews, I would have seen my bad experience was not unique. The measure was messed up, and took a visit to the store to resolve. The granite we selected broke and they were unable to provide another piece the same color. And then the icing on the cake was the arrogant installation crew, who insisted that the center line of a 14 & 3/4 inch opening was 7 & 1/8 inches. When I stopped them a politely asked them to measure again they politely remeasured and agreed that 7 & 3/8 was the center; but according to the lead man "it didn't look right." I emphasized that the customer (me) insists they drill the hole for the faucet at 7 & 3/8, but they refused and drilled the hole at 7 & 1/8 inches. It took me a long time to calm down from that screw up. The owner never apologized, never even spoke to me about the mistake; except to send me a letter with a small check and a note that said they considered the matter closed. Avoid this company like the plague!! There are many choices when it comes to granite and you don't need to take a chance with these guys.

It was terrible service they pass you to four or five sales people. The person who was assigned to my project was always busy whenever I wanted to talk about my project. If the subject is about payment . They lie as well. I explained that I wanted a waterfall granite and as a result those wishes were never conveyed and not in the plans. They tried to put that miss on us saying that we never brought it up. They had us sign off on things that we never received copies of. They left our brand new floors dirty and damaged from their work. Never wearing booties or putting protection down on our floor as a result I saw one them drop a caulking gun and dented our floor. He claimed that secondary damage( ie the floor) were not covered in the work but he never provided the paper work that said that. His English was very broken and very difficult to understand and very inflexible in making good on things he damaged putting the blame on us.

DANGER.... PAY ATTTENTION ....DO NOT USE GRANITE BUSTERS IN STL....Granite Busters schedule counter top installation, they arrived and tear every thing apart, broke the existing counter top and then...opps....." it is unleveled...we can not install it..." I was expecting they put things back in place until re-installation....NOOOO....THEY SAID, RE-SCHEDULE IN 12 DAYS....Now, image, your kitchen sink in the floor, half of counter tops out, the range without electricity. Definitively THEY DO NOT CARE.........I am waiting to talk to the manager to see if at least they can put my sink back for cooking until installation...... I have not hear fron they yet and Hopefully this review will change their heart...we will let you know how this ends...... Moreover, get a professional carpenter today,,,,he can not believe.."..it is uneven just a couple of millimeter"... not even 1/4 inch..... how in the word they can not handle an installation like this.... professionals installers...?

First you have to choose a remnant if you want a reasonable price. I get that. But many pieces they won't commit when you're are looking if they are available or not. So after much time spent trying to see all the leftover pieces which are are all just leaning up against each other (in no order or color organization) where it is difficult to even see what they look like, the piece we like happens to be one of those they may or may not need to use on another job. So we are told they won't know for three or four working days and they will call us and let us know. A week later I still have not heard from them so I call them. They still do not know. A week after that I call again and they say the piece had to be used and we'll have to pick out another piece. So we go back and after waiting an hour to be helped we wade through the stacks again and find something similar. We sign a contract and like six different disclosures (really, they want to make sure they can't be held responsible for much) and leave a 50% deposit. By the way there is a $150 penalty if you are not there when they want to do their measurements or make the install and they will not narrow down the time to less than a particular day. So a guy (later I learned he was actually the owner but he doesn't want people to know that for some reason) comes out on the day arranged to measure and all seems to be well at that point. On the scheduled day of installation I do not hear from them all day. I call at about 4:30 and they tell me they are running behind and will still be there. Two hours later they do show up. The two young men were very nice but rather frazzled by their long day (even mentioned they did not even have time to have lunch). Because I had been there all day waiting I went ahead and removed all the plumbing (plumbing removal was actually part of the installation contract) so they did not have to do that. So the first thing they did was ram a crowbar between the old backsplash and the dry wall to remove it. That of course leaves huge gouges in the drywall. They tell me the new backsplash will cover most of that up. True but most is not all. But as it turns out nothing gets covered up that day because the new backsplash was too made too tall to fit under the existing mirror which cannot be moved. So they were unable to complete the install. But of course that did not deter them from requiring completion of payment which I reluctantly did. The install guys did not know when they would be sent back to finish so I asked that they have the appropriate person call me the next morning. The next day I of course did not hear from anyone so I call them. They had no answer so they would look into it and call back. I did receive a call about 5:30 and they said they would come the next day. Again they would not commit to any particular time. By the way I repaired the drywall myself and painted it the day in between because I felt that needed to be done before installing the new backsplash. They did show up mid morning the next day and completed the install. But my frustration with their customer service does not end here. About a week later the wife and I decided we would like to have them make a small matching granite shelf (less than a half of square foot in total granite) that I would install myself. So I stop by their office and the salesman tells me they want $175 to make it. I complain as they just did a whole double bowl vanity top including sinks, install and sales tax for $910. He concedes it seems high and agrees to check with the owners and will call me back. FOUR DAYS later he finally calls me back and tells me he spoke with them and they won't budge. I express my disappointment and refusal to be gouged and so ends any business or referrals they will ever get from me. The vanity top looks good but their customer service and responsiveness is horrible. And oh by the way did I mention I had to jump start their truck the first installation day so they could leave. And I was approached by their office girl the day I stopped in asking about the shelf because she did not know where the last check I gave them was or if they had even received it. Very poorly run company. They may know how to cut granite, but that's about it.

They did real well. We had an issue with countertops; something wasn’t quite right with it and we called them. They came out within a relatively short time and took care of it. They fixed the issue. We would tell the other members to use them. For the value the countertops was really good. They did answer our questions. They came and fixed the problem without any argument or anything. We would use them again.

The day of installation, at 8 am, Granite Busters called to tell us that unless we paid in full before installation, they were leaving. This is the first we heard we had to pay before installation. Upon payment, their contractors seemed in a hurry to get the job done. There were more seams than they said were going to be done and the seams were jagged and poorly placed. The slab was not the one we chose, in that this slab had many fissures and flaws. We were told they were going to use 2 slabs, but they only used one. They used a shiny black silicone that they smeared all over my honed matte finish countertops. They left my kitchen a disaster when they were done and there was a ring around where they had put the can of acetone. The silicone was smeared all over the counter so it looked like food stains. There were even fingerprints of silicone everywhere. I called the owner the next morning to tell him I was unhappy with the installation. He came to our house and told us we weren't "natural stone people," and generally that we didn't understand that this was the was it's supposed to look. We were trying to find a mutually agreeable resolution, and he suggested pulling the counters out and refunding our money. They refunded all of our money and we are paying to have the counters removed. Strangely, the owner called me to say he didn't understand why I wouldn't allow his installers to come rip the counters out, and he said I had called him to tell him what a wonderful job they did after installation. What?! Basically, this company is sloppy, the owner is argumentative and lacks basic customer service skills.

I was very impressed. I am an experienced DIY'er and have worked with a few stone fabricators in the past. These guys are on top of it. They have a wide selection of granite and marble in stock at their shop and would go outside to stone suppliers if needed. Pricing is fantastic. Design they are bar none way above the grade. Digital templating allowed for digital layout. If you have any variation in your stone, you will want this. This digital process allowed one to layout the stone on the pieces so that all the grain/veins flowed seamlessly. During install even the installers (Mike and Heath - who were outstanding) were even impressed as to how impactful the stone appeared when laid out in the room. In the end, is everything flawless? No - but d*** near. This is stone, and one does not just take a picture and drop it in. However the quality of the end product is impressive and price is second to none. I would very much encourage anyone to shop these guys.

There were several issues. But the two installers worked with me to provide a good service. One of the installers said that he will mount the dishwasher but did not do it. So I called the office and spoke to the owner and they started with the liability talk and gave me all kinds of reasons as to why they cannot do it and I feel that they talk down to customers which is what I find most objectionable. We do not touch appliances they say, however when I specifically asked the installer he said that he will mount it. Then the owner said it is only two screws why not put them in yourself. If that is the case why would they not do it. I gave them $4700 of my money and they did not want to put in the two screws. Or they should have told me that I should do this before they mounted the granite tops. I hung up the phone. They called back to say that it was rude that I hung up. What is rude is that they did not make an effort to put in two screws when the counters were free from the weight of the granite. Now I have to deal with this issue. That is rude. I was planning on using them for another project but not after this experience. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone. I actually like the owner but between his staff and their rude attitude towards customers I am disappointed with their overall service. Beware of using them.

When they came out, they measured, then cut to the measurement. My kitchen is so small that I couldn't be in there to supervise, so I just periodically glanced in to see how they were doing. After they'd been working for a few hours, I poked my head in to see one of the workers, who seemed to be patching something with a paste or glue, and I asked him what he was doing. He said that because there were air bubbles, they were filling it in. Since granite is a natural substance, he said, it's standard to do that. After they were gone, I had 3 exposed outlets, so I called someone to do electrical work to put that back up. I noticed then that they'd cracked the entire backsplash in half, from top to bottom, and had cemented it back together. They sent a third person about 15 minutes later to bring me something, so I had him see it to verify it before the electrician came. He agreed they'd cracked it and patched it up, and tried to lie about it and get away with it. They evenutally remeasured and it and came back, and they cut it a little too short to It just isn't as professional as a job as I'd have liked to have had. No one should use them.

This was not the first time we have purchased granite counter tops. However.... this was the first time we were so completely happy with the entire experience. The beauty of the stone, the edging, staff, service and pricing, all exceeded my expectations. They do all the cutting and edging themselves and measured with a lazar. After picking out our stone, we were invited back to place the custom templates onto the stone slab ourselves. This allowed us to know exactly were each characteristic design in the stone would be located in our kitchen. The results were so satisfying. We were thrilled and felt we ended up with a higher quality stone and stayed within our budget. We opted for some up graded edges and paid a distance/travel fee, do to homes location and we still feel we came out ahead on pricing. We will most defiantly be repeat customer.

I used Granite Busters based on recommendations from two people who used them two years ago and had direct contact with the owners. I never saw or spoke to the owners. My experience was very much less than stellar. I went into the showroom four times to ask all the necessary questions before committing to the job and giving my 50% deposit. Granite Busters has a list of customer requirements that you sign as well as a disclaimer for having the countertops removed that basically absolves them of any responsibility for damage. Beware of this. The installers know this and are less than careful when removing the countertops. On the day of the installation, the two workers came and had my countertops off within about a half an hour. I was called into the kitchen to be told of a couple of issues. One....they had ripped four of my backsplash tiles off of the wall when they took the countertops off. Two were still each in one piece. The other two were still attached to the grout and drywall that they ripped out with the tiles and each of those tiles were split in two pieces. Next, I was told my cabinets were not level. They gave me the name of a person who could fix the problem. I called him immediately, left a message and he returned my call. The Granite Buster installer spoke to the man and told him the issue with my cabinets. Granite Busters left and the repairman showed up within about an hour and a half. He told me his hourly rates. It was $150 an hour!!! I was at his mercy with no countertops in my kitchen so he proceeded with the work. Two hours and $365 later, the cabinets were level. He told me the $65 was for material...some pieces of wood, shims, and caulk. A few days later, I emailed this guy back on the pretext of using him for some trim that needed to cover the raw wood he had installed. I asked his hourly rate for this work. He emailed me back that it was $45 an hour. So....I was charged 333% more than his normal rate on the day he came to level my cabinets....price gouging at it's best. I then called Granite Busters to tell them my cabinets were ready for the granite. I was told by the salesman that there would be a $150 return charge. This is outlined on the customer requirement paper that I signed. There were about 14 things itemized that were required of the customer and if they are not done, then a return charge of up to $150 could be assessed. I complied with all but one...the cabinets not being level....because I did not know they were not level. As soon as I was made aware of the issue, I had it taken care of, yet they charged me the maximum amount. They returned the next day, a rainy one, to install my cabinets. My desk area is flanked by three sides of drywall. I had been very explicit in telling the salesman this when I was in the showroom. When the granite was installed, there was a 1/4 inch gap showing raw drywall on the sides of the desk because laminate is 1/4 inch thicker than the granite that went in...thus the gap. The salesman never told me there would be a gap. It looked terrible. I immediately put in a call to the salesman. He was with a customer and I was told he would call me back. 30 minutes later, I called Granite Busters back because I had not heard from him. I asked to talk to the owners and was told they were not in. I again explained my problem to the lady on the phone as I had on my first call and was told the Sales Manager would call me back. One and a half hours after my first call, I finally received a return phone call from the Sales Manager. In the meantime, I had told the installers that I had made several calls and no one was returning my calls. The installer than called GB as they were getting near completing the job. It was only after that call that I received a call back and explained the situation. The Sales Manager agreed to have two side splashes made to cover the gaps.....a total of less than 1 1/2 square feet of granite. Why would I have not agreed to this small extra amount if I had been properly informed by the salesman that there would be a gap? The salesman had also told me my faucet would be fine....I described it in detail to him when I was in the showroom. The installer took one look at it and told me it would not work. So, I had an additional expense in having to go out and buy a new faucet. When the installers left after the day of the installation, my hardwood floors were an absolute mess. They take no precautions to protect anything in your home and will not cover the floors. It was a rainy day and they were repeatedly in and out of my home. So, all the grime, oil, dirt and residue built up on their shoes were constantly being rubbed and ground into my floors when they came in with their wet shoes. My side splashes were finally installed in less than five minutes last week. Would I use Granite Busters again? Never. The fact that my cabinets were not level was not their fault, certainly. However, they arbitrarily charged me the maximum they could as a return fee. I was price gouged by the repairman. The salesman was incorrect and lapse on several frustrating issues and the policy of Granite Busters does not require the installers to be protective of the home they are in. I expected to have to do a little touch up painting...which I did. But I never expected the added expensive as a result of having tiles ripped out of my backsplash or my floors left in such terrible condition that it took me days of cleaning them to get them back to where they were before the installation.

We shopped around and found that Granite Busters was price competitive and very professional, from the sales person at the store to the team that came out to measure and offer advice. The installers were friendly and professional as well. Their work was top notch and the final result was excellent. A few months after install I noticed a small problem and the owner came to my house in the evening after I got off work to make it right.....that is excellent service. I would highly recommend.

They installed the windowsill first, then the smaller countertop. They called 2 more men to help them turn and install the larger piece of granite. I put my answering machine on top of the regrigerator to get it out of the way. One guy was VERY tall and he moved it to the top of the upper cabinets. The install went perfect with a perfect fit. But we smelled something burning, like electrical. The tall guy put the answering machine on top of a halogen light that was on. It melted the answering machine to the circuit board and blew out all my landlines. :-( That evening I purchased a new set. Last week the general manger talked to me about it. He told me I could copy the receipt and mail it. He didn't want me to have to come out to their business. I told him I was coming out anyway. On Thursday, I took the melted phone set. He gave me a check for the whole amount. NICE! They kept the old set and will give it to the guy who melted it for Christmas! Hope this doesn't ruin the surprise! Overall, an excellent experience. I will use them again. Nice folks, excellent job. The price was what I expected to pay.

After talking with a few different places and obtaining a few different bids, we decided to go with Granite Busters. The price was better than others that we had talked with, and the reviews were good, so we chose them. It went very well. The staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. We worked specifically with Baxter, and he was wonderful. He helped with everything from our initial questions, to allowing us to come pick out our granite slabs, to templating and everything in between. The installers arrived on time, removed the old counters and sink/faucet, and then installed the new counter and sink. A plumber came separately and hooked up our kitchen plumbing again. It was a great experience, and the new counter and sink look fabulous!! It's amazing what granite can do for your kitchen!!

We picked the granite out for the countertop and signed the agreement. However, they are not very good at communication. At the time of installation, they decided we needed additional work before they could install the top. We then had to hire a carpenter and plumber before the counter top could be installed which we then had to reschedule the work. They did very good work and the countertop did turn out excellent but when ordering from this company, you need to be handy or have professional help available because they really do only set the granite on the cabinets. Then you also need to buy the polish and do the finish work youself. Overall, we are satisfied with their work and their installers but the communications are a problem.

Very satisfied with whole experience from picking out the granite slab and laying out the countertops to the installation. The salesperson was very helpful in helping us pick the granite and also the sink we had installed. The installers did an excellent job and were very knowledgeable. All work was done on or ahead of schedule.

The experience was about half and half. Their measuring was not accurate. It was partly inaccurate from the shop and then on the spot when they would cut out for sinks and things like that. They didn't center things properly. They were able to convince me that it was okay; there really wasn't a whole lot that they could fix. For the price I didn't have high expectations. I felt like it was my fault that I would have to sacrifice on part of the quality. I don't know if I would use them again.
Description of Work: I used Granite Busters to replace all of our countertops.

We went to the store to select a top for our powder room sink. We were in a bit of a time crunch, and we were able to choose from some remnants on site. Our sink was a bit confusing as the overflow drain is directly underneath the faucet as opposed to the other side, and the installers glued the top on backwards. I didn't realize the mistake at the time because of the unusual shape of the sink, but when we called the next day to report the problem, they apologized profusely and sent the same team out to fix it the next day. Everything was done in time for the plumbers -- which we appreciated. The installers were punctual and professional and worked efficiently. Our top (imperial taupe) is stunning. We will be doing our kitchen in the near future and hope to use Granite Busters for our countertops. I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: They cut a 31" piece of granite to accommodate a square sink basin and a single faucet. It was delivered within a week.
