Refused to deal with us!

Wonderful. I used 2 movers. They were on time and had my job completed early!

I thought they were great. They were well organized and they got us out within a minimum time. They worked very hard and nothing was broken or damaged at all. They have also been listed under Better Business Bureau and they didn't have any negative things done at all.

It went well. It was incredibly hot and humid during this move. The movers were polite, friendly, and fast. Everything was moved efficiently and all of our belongings arrived at the new location in good condition. There was one point when we were worried. The movers were to meet us with all of our stuff at the house we were moving into. They said it would take them about 20 minutes to get there because they were stopping off for a soda. Forty minutes later they showed up at our house. They did, upon arriving at our house, immediately tell us there would be no charge for the 40 min break. They also explained that they had decided to get something to eat during the transport which took longer than they expected.

I found this company on Angie's List and hired them due to their low cost and positive Angie's List reports. I was extremely disappointed in my experience and would not recommend them to anyone else. They damaged a wall in the house I was moving out of which I had to go back and repair myself in the midst of moving. They put a scratch in our leather couch, damaged our eliptical machine, and scratched up some other more insignificant items (metal chairs, file cabinets, etc) which I didn't even bring to their attention. They required cash payment in full even though there were damages. In hindsight, I should have refused to pay in full because, as I feared, I've never received reimbursement for the damages or repairs I had to make. The men arrived early and were quick, although apparently careless and not so trustworthy. I noticed one of my Little Debbie snack cakes was missing after they departed. Obviously not at all significant, but it certainly speaks to their character.

They made it easy.

Their description on angies list clearly says "Entire Area". I reached the rep's (wife?) on a Sunday. I explained what I needed and she (rather curtly) told me that they did not go to Lake St. Louis. I reminded her that her posting on Angies list said, "entire area", and she told me that they went out to O'Fallon. I asked her if she knew where Lake St. Louis was and she said that it was "past O'Fallon". I said, yes, by five minutes. She was silent. Clearly she did not want to do the job. Why, I don't know. It is a full house move to a storage facility and then back to the house (hardwood floors will be installed). Misleading information in the post makes me very suspect of the company.

Not a thing was broken, dented, or injured in anyway. They were very efficient & professional. They did extras I hadn't expected, like moving large pictures I did not have a chance to personally pack. They wrapped them up carefully and moved them without difficulty. I hadn't given them a very accurate picture of how many things there were (or they did not ask the right questions) so the cost was twice as much as expected, but after seeing how hard they worked and watching them closely, there was certainly no way it could have been done any cheaper. They accept cash only so be prepared with plenty of extra cash in case the same happens for you or ask for someone to come out to look at the things to be moved so you know what to expect.

The 4 movers were prompt, personable, and hard working. They had a sense of humor and always checked as to where things should go. They moved the piano twice in the the new home. The cost was quite reasonable, considering the amount of furniture and other stuff they had to move. They were fantastic. I highly recommend them.

They were excellent. Nothing got scratched or was broken. The two guys that did the moving were very punctual, professional and knew what they were doing. I have lots of antiques and they were very careful in handling them. I did have to pay cash both times but only because I called them a week ahead of time to schedule the move. We were so pleased with B&L Moving.

HIRED FOUR MEN WITH THE TRUCK. THEY SPENT A FULL DAY MOVING THE ITEMS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND WERE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE HOWEVER, THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS OR CREDIT CARD, WHICH WAS INCONVENIENT. PAID CASH AND THEY ISSUED ME A RECEIPT.

SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN SAID, VERY CAREFUL. COMPLETED MOVE EARLY.

NOT A THING WAS SCRATCHED, LOST OR HURT IN ANY WAY. THEY WERE POLITE & HELPFUL BEYOND BELIEF. REASONABLE PRICE, HELPFUL, COURTEOUS & EVEN OF GOOD APPEARANCE. THIS IS A YOUNG COMPANY THAT DESERVES SUCCESS.
