With his eight years of expertise in the pest control industry, a few things became abundantly clear to Ben, Owner of Davenport Pest Management. One, It was simply amazing how impossible it was for many of the bigger pest control companies to deliver a fantastic, "best in the world" service to their clients. Two, it was eye-opening how many of the smaller pest-control companies did not implement the fundamentals in their business that would be the key to making them a better pest control company, which would make them better at serving their clients. In both instances, Ben witnessed the most important thing routinely being forgotten, the customer. This seems like a really simple concept, "take care of your customer first", but the lack of this ideology was flabbergasting, yet inspiring to Ben. It was inspiring because of his customer-first approach, he knew that he could be the best in the world at client relationship management and development, while delivering services above their expectations. Ben rallied around the "customer first" concept and in October 2012, he decided to scratch his entrepreneurial itch by starting Davenport Pest Management. The goal of Davenport Pest Management is to serve others, plain and simple!!! Whether that is customers or vendors, aways take care of others first, and the finances will work out in the end. Ben's investment with PEOPLE is a driving force behind this adventure and with luck, hard work and referrals, success is near.

I have used Ben at a previous property and consistently had excellent results with him. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his work. I have never had a problem with pests since starting service with Ben and will continue to use him in the future.

I really liked Ben. He is really great. He did a good job. He came out within a week after I purchased the Big Deal to determine if that was the correct package and he probably followed-up and did the treatment within two weeks of when we called. I think we did spend more than the Big Deal cost by a hundred dollars. He was very nice to work with. I felt like he had a system in place for follow-ups which is a problem we have had with termite or pest control providers in the past. He was extremely professional and proficient. So, he was very good to work with. My interactions with him were great. The work they did is fine. My house is still standing. He was very responsive.

In April 2015 I contacted Davenport Pest Management to start a program to help with an indoor spider problem that my family had noticed since we moved in a couple years earlier. We had tried using another company in 2014 but the results weren't consistent. Ben met with me to go over a plan and he started the treatment that day doing some spraying outdoors, placing mouse bait inside in the basement ceiling, placing critter bait stations around the outside perimeter of the house, and moving or removing leaves or brush up against the house that may have been making the situation worse. I'm happy to say that we just don't see spiders inside anymore. This company is great to work with - we receive updates by email and a text message reminder prior to treatments that happen every 60 days.

I have had several contacts with Ben to discuss and get set up and then in person. We have only done the first actual treatmet so far. Very thorough and professional but also friendly. Made a great effort in working with me so I cn have my big dog out of the yard when they were here. Very happy with them.

Ben Davenport is truly an angel! Late Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend a contractor who was doing repair work on my patio discovered a large wasp nest in rotted wood and he couldn't complete his job. It didn't look very promising that I could reach an exterminator, much less have one do the needed work before the day after Labor Day... but I found Ben! He graciously took time off from his holiday plans that Saturday, did the work and did not charge me extra for working on the weekend. I would highly recommend Davenport Pest Management.

Ben was very quick to call me back after I left my initial voicemail. He took the time to talk to me for several minutes about my issues with these annoying pests and answered a few questions for me, etc. He was very helpful and performed the work for me very quickly which I appreciate because I have small children who like to play in the back yard. I didn’t see their work yet. But, as far as returning phone calls and giving quotes, they are doing the job. They did finish the work, but I did not go there to check upon that.

Davenport Pest is excellent. Friendly, detailed, and on-time for appointments. I'm happy with the reduction of spiders in the basement, no more ants, and treating mice on the outside of the house. I get a summary report of the treatment that was done every time. That is great to have in my records to show the house has been cared for. Ben does the treatments at my house and I recommend using him.

He notified me when the quarterly inspection was due and we set an appointment that was mutually agreeable. The owner called to verify the appointment a day prior to the appointment and arrived at the prescribed time. He thoroughly inspected the interior and exterior of our home. He specifically looked for any evidence of pests that he previously treated for and resprayed/powdered any areas that might harbor specific pests relative to the season. As he performed all treatments and inspections he kept me abreast of exactly what he is doing. At the end of his visit he presented an invoice which outlined everything he had done and made followup recommendations for us. Ever since we have had Davenport Pest Services (approx 1 yr), the termites, ants, carpenter bees and other critters who were frequent visitors to our home have vanished. His prompt, courteous and professional service is definitely a cut above the rest.

Ben is great. He always shows up on time, is professional and very knowledgable. We started out using his service after we had a home inspection revealing mice, brown recluse spiders, and some other problems. We have had great results with him and recommend him to everyone. Being new in the area, we were lucky to find someone with such great service and reasonable prices.

Ben arrived even before we did, having spent some time around the outside of the home checking for signs of pest issues. He then came inside and performed a very thorough evaluation of the home. He took time to explain everything he found as he performed his inspection. He was very thorough--spending about an hour and a half with us (more time than the structural engineer inspector we had come out the same day!). He was knowledgeable but not at all pushy regarding his recommendations for our service needs. He followed up the very next day with a bid proposal and we will be hiring him for our quarterly pest control services.
