Description of Work: We live in a rural area and have a private well. Our pump was running way more than it should have been. They came out and located a leak and fixed it. The pump continued to come on excessively, so they came back and found a second leak and fixed that. They gave us an estimate at the beginning and stuck to that even though the had to come back a second time. Their equipment is state of the art and their crew is very professional. The repair was quite expensive and took over a week to complete but we are happy with the result.

Description of Work: I had all the old galvanized pipes replaced with new pex lines and running a gas line for my new gas range. This was to correct several water pressure problems. They were very professional answering all of my questions and working well with other contractors that I had working on the house at the same time. Very easy to work with I would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: My elderly aunt's house still had the original metal pipes from 1963. Some had completely corroded closed, and the water that did come through was so bad it was undrinkable. I reviewed companies on Angie's List and called Reed's Plumbing and explained we needed a complete replacement job; the quote was a little less than expected and was told the job would take 2 days. When I explained the water quality, they made the job a high priority and sent 3 very experienced professional plumbers to the house. They completed the entire re-plumbing job and installed an intake filter in less than 8 hours. |I felt the communication was excellent and the response to our situation was amazing. I will use there services again for replacing the sewer pipe.

+ -1 moreI have owned this home for 20 years and have had the sewer line cleaned out multiple times. There is a full basement with an easily visible clean out in the sewer pipe in the corner. The guy from Reed came over two days later than when I had called and then rather than use the clean out in the basement, he pulled an upstairs toilet and ended up having to replace a flange when he reinstalled the toilet. I was billed $225. rather than the $80. estimate with no phone call about the additional work. When I called to complain, the whole experience was highly unprofessional and the owner was quoted to have said, "Tell him not to call us back!" So, if you expect basic customer service, I don't think you will find it at Reed Plumbing in Springfield, MO.

+ -1 moreKitchen faucet leaked and bath room sink had a slow leak in the line. Called Reed's at 8 AM they had a plumber at my house by 9 AM. Harry replaced the cups and springs in the kitchen faucet, tightened the handles. The bathroom leak was so slow we were unable to find it at that time. One and a half hours later it began leaking again. Harry returned , found the leak, changed out the galvanized nipple and supply line. They charged me for one service call. Harry was very informative, answered all my questions and showed me the faulty equipment. Will use Reed's for all plumbing problems!!!!

+ -1 moreTim was right on time and very professional in appearance and attitude. He was helpful and answered all the questions I had concerning the need for a new AC. He said I did not need one even though another company told me the AC needed to be replaced. He saved me a great deal of money! The rate charged was $78.50 per hour. I thought this was a little high but he did save me the price of an new AC.
Description of Work: Tim repaired the copper line for the AC which was dripping under the house. He cleaned the AC condenser and taped around air leaks on the coil. He relit the water heater pilot light and explained to me how to do it.
