Nations Drywall Repair

We have used Nations Drywall repair multiple times. We have found them to be professional and courteous. For the last project, we had them work on fixing our ceiling after putting in some canned lighting in our kitchen and family room. They did excellent work and even fixed a few nail pops and taping issues along the way. I would definitely recommend this company.

He contacted me immediately to give me a bid and set up an estimated time for the repairs. The repairs were professionally done and they cleaned up everything before they left the home. Nations Drywall Repair did an excellent job repairing three water damaged areas on my vaulted kitchen ceiling. Not only does the drywall repair looks great, but the plastic dust containment area that they put up before they did the work left my house spotless with zero drywall dust left behind. Our wall looks beautiful. Once we paint, it will be hard to tell work was done there. We had to wait about a month to get them out, but that's because they are a small crew and do great work. We were willing to wait to have it done right since it was our living room. Rich was a pleasure to have around. He even gave us pointers on how to improve our own drywall skills! The work site was clean, dust was kept to a minimum. We will call them again should we have the need.

Everything looks great. Joe took a good amount of time covering the area with plastic first and the dust was minimized greatly so clean up was easy. The whole process was almost 4 hours.

Richard Nations was very straightforward and easy to work with (and schedule). Todd (the man who performed the work) was also great. He showed up early, did a great job. He replaced all of the bad areas and the wall looks brand new. Everything in the bathroom was cleaned and back to new. I would definitely recommend and hire again.

He called and told me he was running late but would be there for sure no later than 2:00 and never called me back and I called him at 2:40 and he said he was on the way. He showed up at 4:00 and then worked until 9:00. My entire Saturday was spent waiting. The gentleman that arrived was very nice and did a great job once he was there.

We requested estimates from several Angie list contractors. Rich was the most professional that visited us and provided a competitive estimate. He was very good at explaining what work would be done. We agreed to his proposal at the end of June with expectation that the work would be done in the Mid-August. After having electrical work done to move light fixtures in the bathroom, I notified Rich that the electrician had to cut additional holes which I emailed him photos. We agreed to the slight increase to the proposal. A week after the electrical work was completed, Rich called to say they had an opening on their schedule the following week which I quickly agreed to it. The following work was completed a month earlier in July than August. Todd did all the work in two days. He was very professional. He laid plastic down on all the floors between the back door and bathroom. He covered everything in the bathroom. He did a great job of replacing the water damage drywall and fixing five holes. He did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the second day. We are very pleased with work and you really could not tell where the holes were. Now that we have painted the walls, you definitely can't tell where the work was done. If we ever need drywall work again, we would definitely use Nations Drywall Repair.

Mr. Nations provided a prompt estimate. We believe it was fair - the hourly average for labor and materials was about what we expected. Another company we called didn't bother to respond after the initial visit so we didn't have another estimate to compare it to. We had several large areas of existing walls/seams that needed re-taping, mudding and sanding due to settling issues and shoddy work by the previous owners (they painted over wallpaper patches they couldn't remove!). Nations did really good work with each area. After filling and taping, they skim-coated/mudded, sanded, and re-blew the popcorn ceilings as needed. We have an old house and the walls they worked on look brand new. They were careful to hang plastic and put down floor coverings to protect all the other surfaces of our home. They are very busy and we had a tight timeline we needed to follow for a remodeling project. It took some follow up on our part to nail down a firm date they could do the work, but they juggled their schedule to help us out. I would definetely use this company again.

Nations Drywall has always done excellent work. Richard's team replaced drywall tied to a drain tile install in a large finished basement 24x30 and repaired drywall in a few other finished areas that were needed replaced. They came and were completed on time and everything was better than when the house was new. We did the repaint ourselves and the walls were flawless. If there is any drywall work I exclusively call Nations and recommend them to anyone looking for top quality drywall work.

The job was in an upstairs bathroom. The guys laid plastic down all the way from the bathroom, down the stairs and out the front door to protect my hardwood stairs and flooring. They sealed off the bathroom entry with plastic. They already exceeded my expectations with the preparation and hadn't even started the repair yet. When they were finished, I noticed that they went above and beyond and touched up every drywall imperfection in the bathroom. I planned to repaint the whole bathroom that same week so I was pleasantly surprised to see the additional repairs.

Excellent. Crew arrived early and covered floors and furniture. Fixed spots and were very thorough. They cared about their work and wanted it to look good. They weren't satisfied until it did. Cleaned up after themselves. Would use again.
