Seemed to go fine

I first called GMP plumbing on September 8, 2015 and asked for Gary the Master plumber and was tole he was on vacation all week and Amanda suggested I use a Journeyman plumber and I explained I had already used another plumber and he wasn't able to solve the problem. Amanda said she would discuss the problem with the plumber in charge while Gary was on vacation and would call bacl later that day or the next morning and I never received a call back period. I assumed then that she would have Gary call me when he returned from vacation but again I did not receive a call back. On Monday September 14 I called the office again and was finally able to talk with Gary and explained my problem and he suggested I try a few things and call him back and let him know if it worked. I tried the suggestions Gary recommended and after they did not work I called back and was told by Amanda he was out and would be back shortly and either he or she would call me back when he got back. Guess what, there was no call back on their part so I finally called another plumber. GMP plumbing can not be relied upon to get back to you when they tell you they will. Use at your own discretion!!!

Horrifying experience! We delt with Gary and Amanda who are extremely unprofessional. I had this project scheduled for a month when Gary calls me the day before they are supposed to show up and tells me he has no permit for the job. I expressed to Gary how unhappy I was. Gary told me he was still going to show up and work on the job even though he didn't have a permit. The day he showed he went and applied for the permit and had his plumber and laborers start working digging a trench in my basement. They had to stop work until they received the permit leaving a huge open trench and pile of dirt in my basement. After speaking with Gary and letting him know how upset I was he seemed to not care one bit and talked down to me. At this point I called his office to speak with and owner or manager. Amanda expressed that the owner was out of town and asked what was wrong. I explained the situation and she assured me she would get in contact with the owner and have an answer for me as to how to resolve the issue at hand the next day. I expressed that I wanted to be compensated in some way for being misled and put off for a couple weeks on my job with an open trench in a pile of dirt in my basement. I told Amanda that there was no way I was paying any work until we got the situation squared away. Amanda called me back the next day to let me know she spoke with the owner and that Gary was the one that makes the calls on all of these types of jobs. Because Gary has a poor workmanship in dealing with customers I still express that until the owner called me I was unwilling to pay any money and or until the job is finished. Amanda seem to be not happy about the situation that I had told her I wasn't going to pay any money until the job was done or I spoke to the owner. Without my knowledge Amanda put 50% of the job on my credit card. I was alerted by my credit card company that a certain amount of money was charged to my card by American boiler service. This if Fraud! I'm currently still dealing with the situation and would highly recommend that no one use this company whatsoever!

My son had the work done by GMP Plumbing after I found them on Angie's List. He was very satisfied and the work was done in a timely manner. Gary Parham returned the call promptly which most plumbers didn't. Would definitely highly recommend.

Gary from GMP came out to do my estimate for doing the rough in work for my basement bathroom installation. He gave me a reasonable quote thousands of dollars under other plumbers. He added in a gas line run optional quote at my request as well which again, was significantly less than other companies. Over the next few weeks I, being the needy home owner that I am, asked for several changes to the quotes including one during the work. Gary and his office staff were excellent about getting back to me. They made sure I received everything I needed prior to the start of work. I felt good about the project. On the first day of the two day scheduled project, his crew arrived on time and did truly phenomenal work. Seriously, I couldn't have asked for any better. They took me through rough in inspection like it was their job (which it was) and made me happy every step of the way. In addition, their concrete work was excellent as they had to patch several huge holes in the basement slab to move the drain and vent pipes. I would absolutely use GMP again for any/all plumbing needs. Thanks GMP, you rock!

Everything was very professional throughout the entire process. I was very pleased with the work and would definitely use them again. They answered all my questions before, during the install, and through the inspection. The technician used drop cloths to make sure the carpet did not get dirty, and the work area was clean when he was done. The communication was excellent. They called me to let me know when they were on the way the day of the install and also called the morning of the inspection to give me an approximate time of the inspection.

From the first visit for an estimate to the last detail of the job, I was so impressed by the professionalism of this company. I was given a verbal bid and followed up with a written proposal that was word for word the same. And upon acceptance of job and price, the job was scheduled. On the day of the job, new plumbing parts were delivered to my house, and an hour later two men showed up, very polite, and respectable. They finished the work in a half day, and cleaned up behind themselves. I liked that they explained and showed me everything that was done and spent time answering my questions. These men showed me that they respect the homeowner and any inconveniences that occur while they are working. I was very happy and satisfied by the quality of their work. Great Job GMP!!

He was very responsive and went above and beyond to fit us into his schedule for the bid, which I really appreciated. He was helpful and seemed very honest with us about needed to happen. Unfortunately, his schedule availability did not fit in with our deadline since we already had children lined up for care by a specific date.

This was a complicated and large job. Gary did his homework on his bid and clearly got everything organized with the sewer district and the county inspectors. When work started Gary and his crew was there when scheduled and worked through until the job was done a few days later. They worked hard and long days to get the job and inspections done on time. I couldn't be happier with the work that Gary and his whole team at GMP performed. I'll use them again if I need plumbing work in the future.

They installed new copper on the one hose bib at the front of the house. The next day it was already leaking. Not sure if they turned the water off again after the repair was made as it may have froze and busted. When I called they stated they would have to do a more extensive repair than what was first done. I said forget it, I already paid for the three leaks yet only two were fixed. They should have told me upfront about the repair problem rather than perform what amounted to a patch job. I overpaid for all three repairs as a handyman fixed this leak for $60 that weekend.

He did a really good job. He came the same day that I called or that I logged in and they finished the job in an hour and a half and gone. The price was competitive. They were just excellent. I was really happy with what they did. I would recommend them. I would use them again.

On time and very personable service. Reasonable cost including labor.

well pleased will use again.

As always it went well, we never have a worry using Gary's company.
