Glas Tek Windshield Repair

Excellent. Dennis was very prompt and the work was so well done that I am not able to see where the chips were before he repaired them. Since he is a preferred servicer from my car insurance ( American Family) it didn't cost me a dime. I wished I had used him before on another car I had where the well known company said if the crack is longer than a dollar bill they can't fix it. I wound up replacing an entire windshield on my mini-van.

He answered the phone, which is a plus because it is New Year's day and none of the other local places answered. He said that he does repairs, not full replacements. but recommended another A plus rated place to call. He also gave me a price guesstimate to know what to expect, which was nice since I had already called Safelite, who had answered since they use a big call center, and that was the only price I had so far. This allowed me to better judge whether to use them, or to try to hope when I call first thing tomorrow morning a local place will have an appointment that day. He even called me back to double check my information and then confirmed the place he recommended could probably fix it if I call first thing in the morning.

I was ready to pay them directly to fix a chip in my windshield and he informed me I could save money and send it to insurance. Very nice and professional.

I researched several vendors here on Angie's list and am happy to say the choice I made was the correct one. The experience could not have been any better. The appointment was made very simple, Dennis arrived on time, and provided top of the line customer service. From start to finish only took 30 minutes and I was extremely pleased with the result. I have several friends and family members who've put off getting cracks repaired and they're now going to give him a call. It's so fast and easy, it's incredible. The original price was quoted as $70 over the phone but when I mentioned going through Angie's List Dennis gave me a $20 discount. It does pay to utilize this site.

Excellent. I called late Wed afternoon and he stopped by early Thursday morning. In 20 minutes he was finished and gone. The crack is still slightly noticeable, but he warned me about that before even beginning since it separated the layers of the glass a little. Much cheaper than paying $330 for a new windshield. This is my 2nd time using him and would highly recommend.

This business is as good as it gets! I called the business today and my call was returned in under 30 minutes. Dennis arrived on my doorstep as promised only 2 hours later! He gets right to work and spends a lot of time making sure he is repairing the windshield as best he can. He's professional, honest and down to earth. He also spends a lot of time communicating things to you to make sure you understand what he did, what you can expect to happen and how to take care of it. He repaired another windshield for me within the last year or two as well. You definitely can't find better service than this company provides!

Great experience! I phoned late in the afternoon and Dennis was here promptly the very next morning as promised. He is very professional and the repair was done quickly without any issues. I had forgotten,but we had actually used Glas Tek a few years ago on another vehicle and we had the same experience then! Sure beats having to purchase a new windshield! Highly recommend!

Fast service and was helpful in advising me that the crack on my windshield was not repairable due to it being on the inside layers. I would recommend his services to anyone.

I left a message for Dennis on Sunday night and he called me first thing Monday morning. He met me at my office at 10:15 and we were finished in 15 min. Overall a very good experience. The star crack is gone, there is a small spot where it used to be that can only be seen if you're looking for it.

I called Glas Tek Windshield Repair, because this company has an A rating on Angie's List. Dennis Caswell, the company's owner, was very cordial and scheduled my appointment for the next morning at my home with a two hour window of service. He explained that the service would cost $70.00. He was very sincere and thanked me for choosing his company, which is an attitude that encourages me to do business with someone. Dennis showed up promptly when he said he would to complete the windshield repair. He was friendly, respectful, polite, and also inquired about any insurance I might have that would cover the costs or save me money . I felt he was sincerely trying to help me keep the cost down!! When I told him I had AAA insurance, he explained that this would take $20.00 off the price he had quoted me originally!! Now the price of the repair was $50.00, which I feel is extremely reasonable and fair for personal service at your home. I am extremely pleased with this company, the service, and the finished windshield looks like new!! On her way home from work, my wife got a rock ding on the windshield of the car we plan to drive tomorrow on vacation. Timing was terrible. I call Glas Tek, who had recently serviced our other car, and in less than an hour Dennis arrived. Not only did he fix the ding I called about, he also noticed two others that he pointed out to me, and he fixed those too. His attitude and professionalism is top flight. He only charged me for one instead of three, and did it with a smile. I will use this company for any windshield repair issues. and I recommend them highly.

On Sunday I sent emails to a few repair companies. I had an email from Glas Tek that evening and a phone call on Monday morning. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday afternoon and the tech was at my door right on time. The crack was sealed and looks great. With my Angie's List discount it was very affordable.

Dennis (the owner-operator) performed the repairs. He called to confirm and showed up at the scheduled time. We received a 50% discount on the 2nd car since he was already at our house. His repairs seem to stand the test of time; several older windshield repairs he's done on our vehicles have held up well. We will definitely use him again.

Glas-Tek came to our home and made the repair. He called in the morning to let us know approximately when he would be here. I like the fact that we didn't have to take the vehicle to a shop. My wife said she showed Dennis a second tiny blemish in the windshield, but he told her it didn't need repair. He could have done the repair anyway, but was honest with her. We'll use Glas-Tek again when the need arises.

As luck would have it, I had a windshield replaced and the same day a rock from a passing car put a small chip in my windshield that was starting to run about a 1/4 of an inch. I called the company that replaced the windshield and they recommended Dennis @ Glas Tek. I called Dennis at about 9:30 am and he was at my home in less than 3 hours. He is very personable and did a great job making the repair in about 10 minutes. In addition, he actually gave me a discount due to my unfortunate circumstance. I checked Angie's List and called Glas Tek. Knowing that the business is located in Lake St. Louis, I wasn't sure how quickly I could get my windshield repaired. I called Glas Tek around 10:30 AM and Dennis (the owner) was actually in the neighborhood and arrive at my office in less than an hour after I called. Dennis explained the process to me and fixed the windshield in about 20 minutes. Dennis was courteous and friendly and did a great job.

Dennis was very responsive and professional. I was out of town when he called me back and I told him I would call when I got back in town. I forgot to call and after about a week, he politely phoned to see if I was still interested (not pushy at all). I appreciated his call as I had many things going at once, but needed to get my windshields repaired. He came to my location and fixed two chips. Saw the tiny lines from the crack on my way into work. Saw that this company had an excellent rating, and since Safelite now charges a mobile service fee, I thought I'd try a local small business. He said he'd be at my place of employment within the hour! I received a call within the hour and went to give him my car keys. I found he had already made the repair -- an excellent job, and I couldn't see the repair AT ALL!! He was extremely pleasant, informative, courteous, helpful and gave me a discount for belonging to Angie's List.
