Pasted below is the text I sent to the painter. I also sent pictures that I wish I could include here. The inside of the closet was already white and did not need painting but I asked him to bring the was color around the corner about Five inches, that would be the inner edge of the top straight down to the start of the baseboard inside the closet. What I got was a squiggly, messy line that range from 2 - 4 inches. Behind the bathroom door between the frame and wall edge were left unpainted, the same with the mirror above the sink. The we also area's the paint had missed in strips and around the towel bar. I sent Stephen the text hoping I would hear back with an apology and an offer to fix it. It has been a week and he has yet to respond. Text sent Friday August 28, 2020 Stephen, over all I'm happy with the job you did but while I appreciate your getting in and getting it done I do wish you would have slowed down just a bit because a great job is in the details. Nothing I can't fix but I shouldn't need to fix. I would have been happy to run to the store for painters tape if you found you didn't have any with you. I feel bad saying anything about this to you but customer referrals and review are the life line of a small business. If I feel like the service I received went above and beyond my expectations I make sure to leave a fantastic review and recommend to any friend, family member or patient in need of those services. My father was a small business owner. But if I am less than impressed I feel it is important to give the business owner feed back so they know why they might not be getting many referrals or glowing reviews. I hope you take it as intended, just as a heads up to what customers are seeing and thinking upon a close look at the finished product.
