We are happy with them. They does good job.

I continue to use them. They do an excellent job and I will recommend them.

I like the fact that they are a smaller company and they are willing to come out and talk with you if you have an issue. What I don’t like is that I think they have too much going on and they are little slow at getting back to you after you call them or actually get them to answer and talk to you but they are very personable and so it’s hard for me to be unhappy when they finally come and they really take me through the process on what they are going to do and all that. It’s just that they have a slow response time.

They take care of a couple of acres and do a good job. Their overall service is great. They are always on time. They are reasonable.

Started out well. during initial contact we stated we needed additional work done at a later time. Spring went into summer and when it came time ti do the additional work we could not reach anyone. Ended up firing them over the internet as that was an email they couldn't ignore and would leave a date/time stamp. Two months later the crew shows up to do fall work on yard. Had to explain again problem to contacts and to repeat they were in fact fired. No problem with work crew, the problem was all administrative.

Excellent, reliable, and affordable.

Not much to tell. I called and spoke with a man about getting an estimate on some minor landscaping work. Hi said he'd be by on a certain day and time, and never showed. Haven't heard from them since.

My lawn looks great. They have been very regular with their service--they show up every week (usually on Friday, occasionally on Thursday or Saturday). They have communicated well. They notify me of any changes, and have given advice for how to better care for my lawn. I have children who occasionally leave a toy in the yard and they will put in on my deck or in my sandbox without complaint. I was so pleased with their service that I gave them a tip at Christmas.

I called to get an estimate on what I wanted done. They had done a little for me the year before but this was a larger job and I wanted to get someone to give me an estimate. I ran down what I wanted done and told them they could come by to look at it anytime and call me with estimate. About three days later I drove into the driveway and the wotk was done. Everything I had mentioned had been done. There was a note on the door that they would bill me. I got the bill and was very unhappy very much more than I thougth it should have been. i never authorized them to do the work...the just showed up and did it. I wanted to wait until later in the year they did it befor so many things had even leafed out thatI had to do most of it agian later in May. Not a good experience at all.

They did basic lawn care for me -- mowing, overseeding, fertilization, shrub trimming, etc. They were all right while I lived in a rental duplex. They were pretty good about keeping up with the weekly basics. Not so great about paying attention to details, such as pulling weeds under the deck. Getting them to do anything special -- such as taking down the vines that had grown up the deck wall -- often took multiple requests before they would remember to do it. They were relatively inexpensive, however, so as a renter I tolerated the inconveniences. Things were different when I bought my own property and had a mess of a yard to renovate. That was last summer, when we had that terrible drought. I don't know what happened with Marshall's, but their work really went downhill. They overseeded the bare front yard, but what grew was mostly weeds. They didn't keep up with the mowing. At one point they didn't mow for 6 weeks, even though I tried to keep the yard watered and told them it needed mowing. I ended up with grass over my ankles and some weeds around 18 inches high. They asked if I wanted a grub treatment; I said yes; but they didn't do it, as shown in their billing. My overall impression about last year was that they sort of gave up because of the drought. It seemed like they assumed my yard was dormant, like so many others, and didn't get the word that I was watering it. At any rate, I finally had had enough and hired a different lawn service.

We contacted Marshall's and requested service. Their reply was prompt and their service was reliable.

I would not recommend them. Their quotes were off by 200%. They kept double billing me as well. They never showed up on time and didn't complete the work.

Marshall's Lawn Service came out and walked around the property to evaluate what needed to be done. He gave good advice and recommended using a tree service to complete the required work. Marshall's Lawn Service would be the first person I would call if I needed lawn service done.

Young professional-looking man came over quickly,because I needed lawn care to begin soon. I felt it was a very a fair price. They have come every Friday to mow since then. I love the regular service. They have done my lawn treatments within the proper time parameters--the yard looks good. They send bills on a timely basis. On the whole, excellent service.

Totally satisfied with ever aspect of work done by this company. they showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, totally professional and a good value. I will probably use on a yearly basis for clean up on this property.

I am pleased with the work performed. My yard has been sorely neglected this year and I needed help getting it back under control. I had purchased an Angie's List big deal from Marshall's Lawn Service and am happy with the service and value Chris with Marshall's went around my yard with me going over what I wanted done and made several suggestions regarding care and maintenance options. He estimated the time the job would take and explained clearly what my pre-paid Big Deal purchase covered and what the additional cost might be. I was happy with the final results. My yard looks so much better and I plan to use them in the future for some lawn renovation and maintenance.

We received a very quick response to our email request. Chris, the onsite representative, has been very quick to respond to our needs. He has been very professional and has revisited our yard to attend to a few issues. I think this company is on its way to becoming a serious competitor in the Kansas City metro area.

I was hoping they were okay. I am probably going to go with them. Our interaction with them was positive. The young man measured the yard. We have a corner lot that is kind of big. He gave us a reasonable price. He told us all the things that they do. The only cut grass on the days that I wanted. He seemed very interested. He seemed very knowledgeable about what he was talking about. We just hope that it follows through. He came out right away for the estimate. They were more responsive so we thought we would go with them. They came out the next day. They called and asked for an appointment right away. He was right on the nose on punctuality. He gave me a written estimate on a proper form and everything was detailed. I know exactly what I am getting. I just now have to see what the follow through is. I would consider using them again in the future for other quotes.

They did real good work and the guy was a real hard worker. They weren?t very dependable and they didn?t come when they said they would. The work was done very satisfactorily.

The grass didn't grow well, but I think this was weather, not the fault of the lawn service. The clean-up of leaves, etc., was not very thorough.

They responded promptly to my request for pricing information and gave a written quote with clear information about their services and recommendations. Their staff have been pleasant, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. They show up when they say they will, and they perform the work they promise to do. I feel that I can trust their recommendations on different types of work and treatments, too.

Work went very well and was completed at estimated cost. Clean up was excellent with trimmings both raked and vacuumed up for a very clean job. The shrubs were overgrown but looked very nice when the triming was completed. The two employees were very professional and pleasant to work with.
