The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys

Their sprinkler work was fine. I think I'm probably 70% satisfied with the work they did on the lawn. They had to do the work while I wasn't here, so it all came down to communication. My impression of what they were going to do and what they did was not the same. I walked the perimeter of the ground where they were going to work on and they did not cover it. I walked with one person and I think somebody else came out and obviously something got lost in the communication. They were really nice, their customer service was fine, and I suppose I could have called them. I'm sure they would've came back out, but at that point I got tired of having to call back. I wouldn't use them for the lawn stuff anymore. I probably would not use them for my sprinklers because I have a special circumstance that they were upfront about and that they didn't have experience with, so I need to continue to find a service that can handle it. I have a pump that pumps out of the lake behind me and they are not familiar with the system. They were really good for your basic lawn maintenance and I have no complaints really about it. It was just my circumstances were a little bit specialized. They were punctual and very friendly. If there were any issues they always resolved them and I didn't have any real problem with that. I needed somebody who could work on that pump and they did not have that expertise. I would recommend them for sprinklers to anyone else because it was just the pump that was the problem.

Tune up for the season, checked everything is functioning for the Spring. Found a leak and fixed it on the spot. Fantastic service and great work.

The technician was on time, checked the system, fixed or replaced what needed to be fixed.

We were very happy with the service and will use them again.

These guy were great! I actually plan on using these guys again in the next few weeks.

The person who arrived said he was the manager. He explained what he was going to do, which was basically to turn off the system at 3 different control areas in the yard. I assume he did this fine as I haven't had any problem arise as a result of the sprinkler system. This is a new home for me, I've never had a sprinkler system, and there were a few issues that I wanted to discuss with someone so that I could decide whether to use this company next spring, such as raising a sprinkler head and moving one or more heads for a more even spray pattern. However, I was disappointed that he didn't take the time to discuss these items with me. He was obviously in a hurry to finish the winterization and leave, as he said that my concerns could be addressed next Spring rather than with him. This was on a Friday and around 5 pm.

We had some trouble making our schedules match up. However after we did they came top the house did all the adjustments and test. fixed the wprinkler heads that needed fixing.

Weeding was not complete. Flower bed that I wanted cleared still has stuff in it. Tree trimming could have been better. Had used this company (under prior management) to put in sprinkler. Still after 1 & 1/2 years have clear spots in the lawn where the grass did not grow back.

They did a good job for me. They were here on time. They found a problem that I was not aware of. They fixed it at a very reasonable cost. I had one sprinkler valve which wasn't working. These people actually found what the problem was and gave me a price, which I have never followed through on.

We were happy with their service. They seem to know what they were doing and were efficient. They checked all our sprinkler heads and it seems to me that we did have some sort of problem in the system that they fixed but it seems fine.

Excellent service! They were very friendly when i called and easy to schedule a visit. The technician did a qiuck inspection of the sprinkler system, replaced a couple of broken heads and a dead solenoid. Liked the service so much I ended up having them winterize my system a couple of months later. I will definitely be using these guys again

Good customer service regarding attempt to complete services but unable due to broken sprinkler system, which is the reason for customer refund. Core Aeration was performed at the other house was completed but not to our expectations.

They were on time. Very efficent and friendly.

If we make those changes, we will contact this company first.

Over all they said they would return to finish what they began and I never heard from them again.

Bought "The Deal" to have them come out an aerate. They contacted me right away, and came out to perform the work. I was out of town when the job was done, but appeared to have been done well. Many plugs. Only critique would have been a couple areas where the ground was torn from what I am assuming was the zero turn radius.

They gave me some ideas about what was going on with my sprinkler system and improved it's performance.

My husband had been turning the water valve off at the house for months because we had leaky sprinkler heads and a cracked connector pipe. When I saw the offer for The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys on Angie's List, I took advantage of the opportunity to have the lawn sprinklers fixes professionally. The technician knew exactly what needed to be done, even dug up a valve and showed us the cracked pipe responsible for the flow into the street. Shoddy workmanship by Fours Seasons Lawn and Garden in Parkville was the root of the problem. The pipe had been cut too short and were taped together. The tape had rotted and allowed a gap in the pipe .I would definitely recommend The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys.

We bought one of Angie's List's coupon for winterizing our sprinkler system. They came out when they said they would and performed the service quickly and efficiently. The serviceman was very personable and didn't try to sell other services while he was there. I intend to use them again.

We will use The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys again for winterization. We're also going to call them in the spring to help us set up our sprinkler system the most cost effective way. We could not be more pleased with their services.

Due to one reason or another, I did not have any grass come up. When they came out they did not even notify me they were present at my home. I would have preferred to have spoken to them personally. They sent three technicians who seemed more like college students than professionals.

To be able to compare bids, I prepared a specification sheet detailing the equipment desired. The owner, Scott Jarred, came out to give us a bid and totally ignored the desired specifications. In addition, he proposed to run a lamp cord wire from the controller to a light socket in the garage. I told him that I could convert the existing light switch, a few inches away from where I wanted to install the controller, to a switch/power outlet but he was more interested in talking than listening. He was also the only bidder to propose putting the back flow prevention device inside the house instead of outside where service technicians could periodically check it without access to the house. I selected another company to install the irrigation system because they listened to me and were willing to provide the conservation system I wanted although the Lawn & Sprinkler Guys bid was lower than the company selected.

The technician was prompt, thorough and professional. The adjustments he made did improve the coverage of the system. I plan to use The Lawn & Sprinkler Guys this coming spring to perform the recommended remaining work on my system.s List

they were wonderful....they came by to give estimate because I wanted more done than the coupon covered! they performed above and beyond!
