Very positive experience with this company. They were extremely pleasant and courteous when scheduling the appointment. The technician was on-time and in fact called to let me know he was running a bit early and could move up my appointment. The service was performed to my expectations. I would recommend this company and will be utilizing them again for my irrigation system needs.

Overall a very positive experience. The man who came was professional and did the work quickly. He was late due to a priior job that went longer than expected. I would use them again for future work.

Service provider was very friendly and professional. He arrived on time, checked our system, and then took the time to show me how he was reprogramming it. He explained why he set it as he did and told me how and why I may want to make changes as the summer progresses. The cost does not include the price of the big deal paid to Angie's List.

I think they are ok. They are pretty good but I have certain expectations on how my sprinkler head should have water come out that they don't agree with. Their rates are reasonable. With the big deal the pricing is good, without the deal it is average. They showed up on time. The man that came was really good, nice and seemed to spend enough time. He checked for leaks and set the sprinkler heads. He did not seem to know as much with the duration as I thought he should. I was telling him what to do, I was a little disappointed in that. He was good about the one area I had concerns about. They do not push you at all about what needs to be done.

They were excellent. They came out when they said they would. Quality was outstanding.

There was no trouble getting it scheduled. He showed up when he said he would, answered my questions, and did a good job.

They were great. First time they came out (original coupon) they could not find the water main. The owner ended up coming out and found it right away and did his inspection. The next day they were out to repair the break in some pretty cold weather. next couple of days I could not figure out how to turn the system on so the owner came out (no charge) and walked through the system with me, and also let me know which heads he would suggest changing and told me he would show me how to do them myself in order to save money. Then we were late at blowing our system out, did not call until after the first snow, and they came out after it was not "as" cold and blew the system out for us snow on the ground and all! I will use this company over and over again, they are just great!

Very knowledgeable and professional. First off, they were able to schedule me for a Saturday appointment, which I didn't expect and was extremely convenient for our schedule. Joe called me an hour before to let me know when he would arrive. He fixed all the broken heads, a leaky valve and then on top of that he set up a custom watering schedule for our lawn. Last minute I decided to have him install a "rain sensor" which he had no problem with even though he seemed very busy. He was a very nice guy and since this was our first house with a sprinkler system he took the time to go through how everything worked without hesitation. Would absolutely recommend to our friends and neighbors.

I have had The Lawn and Sprinkler Guys come in and work on the system three times. I just bought the house last year. I had them come and work on it initially, then they came back and flushed it out, and I had them back in the spring to replace the controller and a bunch of sprinkler heads and they did a really fine job. They really knew what they were doing. They know their business and they are on time. They are reasonably priced from what I can tell. I think they will do just about anything - the main reason I called them was to maintain the sprinkler system, but, heck, they will even hang Christmas lights! I guess they have to have something to do in the winter.

Process went quickly and well. Contractor showed up timely and was done in 15 minutes.

Whoever initially installed my sprinkler system (not Lawn and Sprinkler Guys) ran the lateral lines for a majority of my sprinkler heads about 3 feet outside my property lines. The error was not a problem until new home construction started and the builder ripped the lines out of the ground. I called Lawn and Sprinkler Guys, who do all my yearly maintenance on the system already, and they gave me an estimate when they came to turn the system on. Thanks to the endless rain that we had it took about a month to finally have a dry enough day to have them come out and do the work. The crew of 3 arrived on a Saturday to do the work. They were on time and started immediately. I was surprised how little their machine tore the yard up as I was expecting to have huge trenches but instead you could barely tell where they had been. The crew worked hard and had the whole lawn lateral lines ran before 2pm. We turned the system on and had a snag which they quickly diagnosed and fixed. The system runs great now and I have the piece of mind knowing that no more pipes or heads will be destroyed by the builders. Highly recommend and will continue to use for all my lawn irrigation needs.

Excellent service. Came when he said he would - on a Sunday - with no extra charge for weekend service. Thoroughly checked my system to be sure it was working correctly. Explained how to reprogram it if needed, which I really appreciated. I will definitely use him from this point on.

I called for service and my call was answered immediately. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate a change that I had not anticipated at the time he was originally scheduled to arrive. He was professional and accomplished all the tasks listed above. He gave me some tips for saving some money. He was careful in the house to remove his shoes before going to the basement to turn the water on and open the lines. He made sure on completion that I was satisfied with what he had done and also that I have his contact information in case any problems surfaced.

I bought the "Big Deal" for them through Angies List. Had them startup and adjust our sprinklers. They arrived on time. Showed and explained problems from past installers (a pipe up from the ground was out of plumb and forced to fit, they added a couple 90's and fixed another area where the pipe was cracked). Fixed them for a reasonable additional charge. Were professional. Would use again.

The technician who came out was very nice and professional. He turned on the valve to open the system, which isn't hard to do and we typically do ourselves, but the reason we really hired them is that we knew we had a couple of cracked sprinkler heads/nozzles and we had several zones that needed to be adjusted which make dead spots in summer heat. He spent quite a bit of time walking the lawn and ran each zone with my husband adjusting everything we needed. We'll likely have them do some additional work later this summer to create another zone.

It appears this company does not give free estimates. I contacted this company for the purpose of having someone visit with me so I could describe some issues with my sprinkler system and also to have system activated after repairs (if needed) were done. While the company responded promptly via email, it went downhill from there. They insisted that they would have to come out and turn the system on ($70.00) before they could evaluate the system and then discuss with me. I explained that I am aware of what issues I have and that I did not want the system activated as this would only equate to any repair work to be done being done in mud as the lines would then be filled with water. I completely understand why the system would need to be activated if the company were trouble shooting a problem. However, I know what the problems are and was simply asking to be able to review the issues with a company representative. The person emailing with me either was not or chose to not understand what I was asking for. I very bluntly responded "do you not provide free estimates?" Again, I was informed that the system would need to be activated which equates to the company NOT providing free estimates. Really a shame as this company seems to have so many positive reviews. My experience so far was less than positive. May 9, 2013 In reply to Service Provider - There was no confusion on my part. I clearly explained what I was looking to have done based upon your people visiting with me and that I would have the system activated thereby providing you PAID work. It simply did not and does not make sense why you would turn on a system and then make the repairs the homeowner is asking for. This equates to repairs being made in mud and increasing the likelihood that there would be more damage to the lawn.

Joe, the representative who came to the job turned on the water and filled the sprinkler system which had been drained last fall. He turned on each zone (there are 9 zones) and checked each sprinkler head in each zone to make sure all were operating properly. He adjusted a couple to get better coverage on parts of our lawn. He also checked the program in the control panel to make sure all zones were set up properly. He made suggestions such as increasing the run time on certain zones during the hottest part of the summer. Joe actually arrived ahead of schedule (he called first to see if it was OK) and provided his services in a professional manner. I would use this company again for any service on my sprinkler system.

$49 for inspection was practically worthless (can get the same from other companies for free) but subsequent work was very good!

Totally happy. Would recommend them.

I like that if I have an appointment they try to get me in early. They are very professional we had them to come out and winterize my sprinkler system. We will continue to use them in the future.

They were prompt and efficient. They knew exactly what they were doing. We felt the price was very fair. This is the second time we've used them, once last year and once this year now.
