Winterization. It went well. I will use this company again if the price is right.

The service provider came out as scheduled and was nice. However, it was quickly apparent that the replacement parts used were cheap and broke quickly and the head adjustments still didn't fix the coverage issues. I only gave them a C because we should have contacted them to give them a chance to come fix the work but we've been busy and didn't make our priority list.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out fine. They did a fine job. I did not pay anything extra.

The guy who came out was very courteous. He explained everything that he was doing and he was pretty quick. He was right on time and was very professional.

He prepped and turned off my sprinkler system for the winter. He showed up in the promised time slot and took care of everything quickly and efficiently.

Showed up on time. Was professional in performace of work. Work completed as expected. I intend to continue using their services when needed.

My usual lawn service charges about $70 for this service so when I saw this deal for $49 I figured I would give it a try. I'd do this myself but i don't have a large enough air compressor. It isn't rocket science after all. Anyway, the technician showed up right on time and performed the maintenance as expected. Very professional and knowledgeable regarding irrigation systems. Made the appointment for 11/1/13 between 3-5pm. I called at 4:20pm to get a timeframe on arrival and was told at that point that he was running late and would not arrive potentially until 6. I really wish in scenarios like this that I wouldn't have to be the one to call to find out someone is going to be an hour late past a window, that the service provider would call me as soon as they knew. The technician (who was very nice and apologetic - he had just been WAY overscheduled by his company) arrived at 6:30pm (sun set at 6:40) and said he did not have the part to complete the work and could he have our garage code to complete the work the next day. We said we'd rather be there and so he said he'd come first thing and would call before he came, which he did and we appreciated. He called at 8am to say he'd be there at 8:30am, so we opened the garage door and went back inside for breakfast. At 9am, we wondered where he was and so went outside. The sprinklers appeared to be wet, so I can only assume he did the work, but we never got confirmation that everything was complete and fine for the winter. We imagine he didn't want to disturb us, but it left us slightly unsure that the work was 100% (if I didn't see wet spots on the ground, I would have had no idea). So ultimately, pluses and minuses. The lack of service on the scheduled day frustrated me as I took time off of work that I didn't need to have done, but the service tech was very friendly and was gracious to come back Saturday morning to complete, but then also, we never got a confirmation that all was complete and our system was done.

I recently purchased an older home with a bunch of well-done improvements, one of which was an elaborate sprinkler system. I used the system during the summer periodically and for my Fall fertilization and seeding, but had never prepared it for winter before (bought the house in May). There was no record of who installed the system, or who had been maintaining it before me, I just knew that I needed to prepare it for winter and had very little knowledge on how to do so properly. So, I did a lot of reading on Angie?s List before messaging the Lawn & Sprinkler Guys. Late that evening after sending out the message through Angie?s List, the receptionist, Debbie, sent me a message that she?d call me the next day. That she did, and I set up an appointment for a week later (they are likely busy this time of year). She was able to give me a two-hour window that they would be out to perform the winterization, which was only $70. A very friendly guy, Thomas, came out to the house on the day planned. He was just a smidge late, but this was due to the previous client running longer than expected. There was also full communication that he was en route to my house; no complaints there! I knew a minimal amount about the sprinkler system components, but Thomas was able to quickly locate the valve box outside and other key features throughout the yard. The system has nine zones, with multiple heads per zone. Thomas hooked up the air compressor and began emptying the system zone by zone. He carefully inspected each head to ensure that they all had proper, robust, and repeatable deployment and alignment until all water was cleared out. He also showed me on how the system interface was wired up, and how the water source interfaces with the city water supply, while also giving me pointers on general maintenance issues to watch for. In addition, Thomas advised on proper watering times based on the type of heads that were installed, which was helpful because I had slightly over-estimated. He said that in the Spring, they would be happy to come back out and get the system running, along with programming each zone for appropriate water usage. Even then, he explained to me how to turn prime the system and calibrate it in the Spring should I choose to do it myself. The whole visit was over within an hour, and he was able to accept my payment immediately at the truck. Because the experience with Thomas was so pleasant and quick, I think calling out the Lawn & Sprinkler Guys in the future is well worth the investment at least until I get the routine down myself. I value service providers who will willingly educate their clientele, and this was certainly one of them. Very pleased!

Office was very helpful with the scheduling, fit us in before it froze. Tech was knowledgable and my husband learned a lot about our new system. Would use them again in the spring to start up the sprinklers.

It was fine. They finally showed up on time and did the work they said they were going to do. There was one issue and they came back out and reviewed it. The people who did the work were nice guys. It was a big deal purchase and it was fine. Quality of work was good.

Everything went GREAT! Contact was professional, timely, accurate. Sprinkler system seems to be working awesome. Would definitely use them again, in fact, we hired them to do all our lawnwork now to include aerating and fertilizing. HIghly recommend. And, we thought their price was very reasonable as well compared to others we interviewed. Don't have anything negative to say about the experience.

I don't remember the exact price, but it was less than my regular lawncare guy had quoted. They were prompt. Tech (may have been owner) let me walk around with him to each valve and instructed me on what to look for. We looked at the programming box and went through the setup together. I feel much more confident and will use them for my Fall maintenance.

These guys were great. They were on time and did a thorough troubleshooting of the system. They identified the source of low pressure in the system and were able to get it fixed quickly. I would highly recommend these guys.

We've used the Lawn & Sprinkler Guys last year and they were great. Very courteous, professional, and on time.

They were very nice when we scheduled the appointment and when they came out to check it out they were very helpful with tips and hints since we have not had a sprinkler system before. They told us about their services but did not try to up sell or pressure any other services. We have already scheduled our fall service and have recommended them to friends!
