The service went well. They did exactly what the deal stated. We got what we expected and it was a simple process. I do not remember having any difficulties with scheduling the deal.

My first appointment was cancelled due to "the bad weather", which turned out NOT to be bad. So, I was somewhat disappointed that they used such a lame excuse. I rescheduled for the following week, the guy showed up and proceeded to blow out the water lines. I have an average 12 zone system of which 4 zones I do not use. He finished within 20 minutes which I knew (I have had the system over 10 years) was not long enough to blow out all lines. He turned off the compressor and said he was finished. So I asked him if he blew out all the lines and he said yes. then I asked him if he blew out the lines of the zones I didn't use and he started giving me the "oh, she's a woman, she won't know" speech. But I did know, so he had to go back to his truck, reconnect the compressor and blow out the additional lines. When he started working at the wall unit to bring up the heads for those zones, he had NO clue how to re-set them. He kept asking me for a key and when I did not have a key, he used his pocket knife. I told him he had better not break my system. He then figured out all you had to do was turn the white knobs in order to re-set the zone. The service guy did not have the knowledge I believe he should have had and he definitely had a lacksadazical attitude. When I first called, I had also asked for someone to come out and help me with my back yard, as I am having difficulty growing grass. The woman I spoke to said she would send someone, but no one has ever showed up. I will not be using this company in the spring when it is time to get started on the yard.

Went well. Also had them do lawn aeration.

They contacted me in a timely manner. They were friendly. The service had to be delayed due to the weather so I performed the service myself.

Purchased the deal because it looked like the best deal for wintering. Then I found out our pipes were already frozen and cancelled appointment. I gave the company a B because after I found out pipes were frozen, I called several different companies asking for advice, and this company's was the least helpful. But they were responsive and courteous.

I bought the 3-treatment special for $99. The treatments they provided did the job as most all weeds were eradicated and the lawn itself ended up looking very good. However, in the process of spraying for weeds, one lilac bush and several rose bushes died from the over spray. Unfortunately, the lilac bush was one that was given to my wife by her grandmother and has been in the family for many years. The company did offer to replace the rose bushes, but the person doing the spraying felt that the lilac bush was only stunned although it continued to droop over the summer. At summer's end, we did cut the lilac bush to ground level as we do every year, hoping that it will regenerate next year. I do believe the company was sincere in trying to resolve our issues.

They came out and did a sprinkler winterization for me. They did a great job. Very prompt and courteous, and everything went off without a hitch.

Called last week for winterization. Appt was easily scheduled on the phone with a 4 hr window of arrival/service. Office called prior to service person coming out. Gentleman worked quickly and efficiently. Was pleased with service and will definitely use again in the future as we had been trying with another company to get winterization for over 1 month.

They are always really good with my lawn!

They showed up on time and tuned the sprinklers on 6 zones, buried some heads deeper and relocated a head after some consultation on where to put it. Very satisfied.

Excellent results. They have done 5 applications thru the year. Grass looks great. Knowledgeable when I asked questions.

The work was performed as indicated and functions perfectly.

He was helpful and he was clean. He was organized. He was professional.

I called around Labor Day to have them come out & give me an estimate on the total cost. They provided me with the dimensions of my yard (which I really didn't know) so I could go up to the Grass Pad & purchase my own seed & fertilizer. They priced my yard at around $200 for the whole thing & I finally made the decision to have them do everything. We set the date for Friday, September 12, 2014. I called in on the 11th to confirm my time, & then I followed up with them on the 12th to get a closer time window. They told me it would be afternoon a.k.a. after 1:00 p.m. I asked Debbie to have them call me when they were on their way so I could be there. Three guys were waiting for me to show up so I could talk to the people before any work was done. Mike explained the reason why we should core aerate in the back & on the partial side where I had existing, good, grass growth. He also explained why we should verticut in the front & side yards. Thank you Mike, I really appreciate your help. The core aeration was excellent. After they verticut my front yard, I had a different expectation of what I thought it should look like, but I didn't make the call back to Debbie until Wednesday, September 17. Debbie was very courteous & mentioned that she would send Mike back out to look at my lawn by Friday, September 19. I called her back the morning of the 19th, to follow up with her & see if Mike had made it by my place to see if they needed to verticut again. Debbie mentioned that she was just going to have Mike come out on Monday, September 22 to verticut, dethatch, lay their own seed & fertilizer, pick up all of the thatch. They didn't charge me for coming back out & doing all of this work again. There is something to say about that & this is why I am writing this review. To sum it up, their customer service & ability to deal with difficult people like me is impeccable. I should of done a few things differently, for example, mow my yard as low as possible before they came out the first time to verticut. I based my decision to have yard work completed by this company based off of reviews from Angies List. Therefore, I find it necessary to express that this company says what they will do & they do what they say. Thank you

I got this service through Angie's Deals. The deal was $99, plus I paid an additional $15 per treatment since I have such a big yard (> 10K square feet). I got a call within a day or two of purchasing my Angie's List deal, and the technician set up an appointment to come out for an estimate. He arrived on time, gave me an estimate for the 3 treatments, described a number of other services his company provides, and gave me an estimate for those services as well. Per my request, they called each time a few days in advance to apply the treatments. I have 3 dogs, and I needed to make sure they weren't out in the yard when they arrived. The technician showed up on time, applied the treatment, and made sure the fence gate was closed before he left. They left a paper bill on the door each time for the additional $15, and followed up with an email invoice a few days later. As for my yard, I have to say it looked great all summer! Nice and green, no weeds jumping out at me. I'm very pleased with this company, and will very likely use them again.

They showed up on time and turned on our system. They also checked all the sprinkler heads and set the watering time.

It went pretty well overall, but it was just an inspection so nothing major.

The service man arrived on time and was professional. I had called the office early that day and told them that I had a rain sensor and that perhaps I should re-schedule as it had recently rained and there was no "over-ride." I was told that the system could be overridden as they knew how. The worker told me he could override the system. I did not completely understand that he would cut the hardwire and rewire when he was finished. I should have cancelled the appt. then. I did not look where he was cutting and later found that the cut was at chest high, very visible and when it was repaired, he had capped both connections and left them in sight and also within easy reach of the doggie door where my dog has easy access to the wires. I was not pleased.

It went fine. this is the second or third time using them. will again.

They were great guys. I’d definitely have them out again. Something happened and they came out a day early. We got it rescheduled, and they came out on that new date. It wasn't a problem at all.

There were no additional costs and no troubles with scheduling. Everything turned out well.

I was REALLY pleased by how well they responded to my request for service. The two technicians, NAT and TIM, had to drive through some stormy weather as well as a nasty traffic jam to get to my house, but they did make it after keeping me appraised of their situation. When they got to my house, they really hustled and got the job done right before it started storming, and I really appreciated their willingness to come to my house under those conditions and to get the job done as quick as they did. I have used The Lawn & Sprinkler Guys in the past, and, based upon their consistently high level of service and professionalism, I will not hesitate to employ them in the future.

They still have one application left but I’ve had good luck with them so far. I had to pay $45 for extra footage. They have a scheduler who answers the phone and I'd give her an "A"!

went well. The only quibble is: I had two leaks in a hose that they said wasn't "factory" and couldn't fix it. It was a part of the installation, so I didn't understand that. Nice guys, professional and prompt. The $59 only covers 45 minutes.
