Gene responded promptly to a request for estimate and was on time for the appointment we made. He showed up to work on time, did the agreed on work in the estimated amount of time and within the agreed cost. He left the work area cleaner that when he started. He was easy to talk to and willing to discuss and describe all the work he was doing for us. My wife and I have already discussed hiring him for other projects we have been considering since the results from this one were so good.

Gene is a true craftsman. He exceeded my expectations. I wouldnâ t hesitate to hire him again.

Gene was very nice and professional when he bid the job. There was a leak coming from my chimney somewhere. After a few bids he seemed the most qualified. He came and did the work in March 2021. After the first rain the leak was worse. My wife sent him a picture of the leak and he responded o boy. After a week or two and many text messages it was clear that Gene was ignoring my wife. On July 14th I texted Gene. He responded and wanted to come the same day but we were unavailable that day. He said ok, and sorry for the delay and would get back with me. I have been texting Gene and calling him about every other day and today is August 23rd. He continues to ignore me and will not return my phone calls or text me back. I just want my leaky chimney repaired like I payed for. No more, no less. I am willing to delete this review if Gene reaches out and makes an attempt to fix it. I do not ever give bad reviews especially to small businesses working hard. I really want to delete this so I hope he calls and fixes the chimney.

Gene responded to my request immediately and completed the work in the same day. His does excellent work and is easy to talk with. Highly recommend!

Gene refused to do the agreed upon work. He left bricks without mortar in them. He did half the work demanded payment and got very nasty when I told him Iâ d pay him when the work was done. I ended up paying him then found a lot of missing mortar. Horrible experience.

Gene is an experienced masonry worker who knows his stuff.

Gene is great to work with. Arrives on time and works all day. Doesnâ t ask for payment until the job is done and youâ re satirized. Would highly recommend him for brink or stone work.

Gene came out the next morning to assess and price the job. He took his time to explain and show the areas of concern with the stone wall needing work. We asked him to look at the other 2 stone walls in our home just to make sure we were not missing other areas needing work. He was honest with us that no work was needed for those walls. Gave us a price at that initial meeting, hired he came the next day and did the work. Fair price, great work, clean up was immaculate. He is a nice guy who loves his job. Definitely, would hire again.

Gene is great to work with and collaborate on ideas. He does quality work with 30+ years of experience. He cleans up the project area as he works, is trustworthy, and an all around nice person. We are using him in a few weeks on another project.

It was easy to give Gene five stars. His pricing was reasonable, his work was great, and he was easy to work with. He tuck pointed our 110 year old limestone basement, repaired the chimney on our 3 story clay tile roof, and we added having him rebuild the firebox so we could get a ventless fireplace.
