They were professional and courteous.

It went well. They liked the house and it's potential.

Dana & I exchanged a few e-mails, with me clarifying that I did not want kitchen consultation at the time - only bathroom. She and her partner showed up promptly, and we went over my current dislikes of the bathroom, and what I wanted to see at the end of a renovation. I was up front, and said I was contacting them for consultation only, just to get an idea to see if what I wanted done was feasible. They both seemed OK with that, and we proceeded to talk about possibilities. They asked me a bottom line cost, and I said 5-6K (probably unrealistic, but it was truthful). By the time they were done, they had come up with an estimate of 18K, which included cherry built-in cabinets. I had specifically said I didn't want built-ins, nor high-end materials, since I have two younger children and two dogs. I felt as though they really weren't listening to my "wants", and were just pricing high since they weren't interested in the job. Finally, I did receive a lovely thank you note from Dana, that said she would be in touch with me, yet no further contact was made. They both seemed to have a great knowledge base, but I didn't get the impression they are for a lower-cost renovation such as mine.

The appointment with Dana was for an initial consultation about renovating my kitchen. Dana and her associate were very cordial, informative, and very excited to do the job, they were very impressive. I am just sorry the price was too high to have the renovation done.

Remodeling has not taken place as of this date.

Although the design plan was very good, we decided not to go with Dana's contractor, Home fix, due to his having a 'lower rating/ on Angie's list and fact that bid was rather high for work that we really wanted to do.

She was punctual, friendly, trustworthy, expert in the field, gave good suggestions and advice for interior design. Price was good.

I liked working with Dana. I think her tastes matched mine- or at least, she was able to adapt to mine! She offered good ideas and stayed with the price point that I had previously discussed. I asked her to stretch my thoughts a bit, to push me to be a bit more creative and I would say that she did that. She also came up with a way to save me money by suggesting I layer an area rug over a less expensive carpet, saving me quite a bit of money. I would say that Dana is fun to work with, she is professional and talented. I will work with her again and would recommend her to others. She did a very good job for me.

We were very pleased. Dana does excellent work! She is creative, resourceful, and professional. I would highly recommend her.

Dana met me at my old home to get an idea of my furishings and taste. We then went to the new home where she asked questions about my desire for each room and plans (new construction). She started giving ideass and choice colors one room at a time. As we moved to each room she always compared previous choices to insure smooth transitions in color. In three hours we finalized all interior color choices for 3300 sf (5 bedrooms/4 bathrooms). I couldn't have made that many choices so quickly and with so much confidence on my own. Awesome!!!

She was very professional and punctual. She was willing to work within the budget that we had. She was creative about a couple of different options that we could consider. She did a good job. Her price was comparable with others. We will use her services in the future.

Dana King of Dana's Design Studio is a delight to work with. I love that she let me have my style, but guided me through the interior design process. The final result was just what I had envisioned. She is client-focused and budget-friendly. I have worked with several designers in the past. Dana is the best. I would recommend her for anyone looking to makeover a room, purchase new furnishings and any interior design work. Check out her portfolio and services. Extra bonus: When the showroom couldn't find a discontinued fabric that I had my heart set on (a major yardage) she went way many extra miles searching the internet and just when we had given up hope of finding the discontinued fabric, she found it! She's a trooper.
